I paid triple what the price listed on my day of travel. I tried to adjust the price to reflect these changes but the way the bookings work is once you pay for the room there's no way to cancel. It's very scammy. The room itself was not very clean. It needs to be updated and have a deep clean of headboards and other details in the room. Not at all worth the price. I would not stay here again.

Pros (+) This affordable hotel is great for the price, the amenities are superb and the staff are excellent.
Cons (-) Breakfast is not included and the hotel is on the very outskirts of Portland so I’d recommend driving or hailing a Lyft/Uber

Pros (+) Easy access to where we needed or wanted to go. Staff very helpful with directions. Breakfast staff very friendly and accommodating.
Cons (-) Room not attended to on our second day. Apparently they were told we were leaving.

Pros (+) The location near the train station made this hotel convenient.. Staff was friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was solid.
Cons (-) Hotel was full of guests, it seems the staff was having a bit of hard time keep up with day to day upkeep. The hallways needed a vacuuming for instance.

Pros (+) The hotel was clean the staff seemed friendly enough. They had coffee, tea and cookies in the entrance which was nice. I really liked the size of the room and that it had a mini refrigerator which was extremely helpful for me.
Cons (-) The hot water for the shower in my room was not working however I was only there for a half marathon so I didn't bother calling for help at the front desk since I was about to checkout and run a long distance. I'm sure they would have helped if I called about the issue

Cons (-) Front desk was very uninterested-did not even make eye contact upon check in, and restaurant is actually the worst I've ever had in a hotel. This place has potential but needs a little love.

Pros (+) People at the front desk and in housekeeping were very friendly, helpful and accommodating
Cons (-) I had a late check out bc of a race I ran that morning. So I was taking a nap before I left with the do not disturb sign hung on the door. Housekeeping did knock and awoke me even though I was notified that housekeeping was aware of my checkinv out late. Besides that everything was great!
