1,0 Poor
Pros: Not much!!
Cons: Our room was w/o working AC. When we reported it we were brought a fan. Man said we were not the only ones. . We were eventually given another room where the smell was so rank, we ended up returning to the first room. Way overpriced. Horrible experience!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The pillows were marked as soft and firm - two of each.
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff and Restaurant
Cons: Needs some deep cleaning
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location and the parking was very convenient. The rooms were clean and the staff were very kind and helpful.
Cons: Most Holiday Inns have breakfast included, that was not the case here.
6,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The walls are extremely thin. Heard the person snoring in the next room. Went to restaurant. Stood there for 5 minutes. Other than the three customers there, never saw anyone at all so left.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location and parking
Cons: Very noisy heating unit on room that cycled on and off all night. Internet was poor
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location! Was also a nice room. Front desk was helpful and attentive. Restaurant onsite was a plus. Exterior doors everywhere -easy to park near rooms.
Cons: no mini fridge in the room. The room was not as clean as I would have liked - trash in the bin and a soap bar still in the shower....but it had been cleaned I think these just got missed.
7,0 Good
Pros: The pool was awsome.
Cons: Breakfast could be included.
6,0 Good
Pros: The pool was nice and open late. The room was nice even though we didn't get the room we purchased. The hotel was clean looking.
Cons: We purchased?selected a two queen bed room, were told that it was a two queen bed room. but it was really a two double bed room. Some staff were unfriendly. Lounge not open past 11 and was rudely told after waiting at bar for 5 minutes.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: The stay was during the current situation with COVID-19, and we were a little worried about traveling. The check in staff was very nice, respectful, and extremely clean. She would not touch my cards and she was mindful to wipe the pen I used to sign with a sanitized cloth. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very nice. Location was perfect, could not ask for better if you wanted to be close to campus and Church Street.
Cons: Well it was hard to review amenities like the pool and the restaurant because they were both closed as a result of abundance of caution in response to the Corona Virus. We had the glass door to the balcony open for a period of time and were forced to close it because we could smell smoke from outside, so that was disappointing. Otherwise no complaints.

Pros: Excellent location--near airport --my son had early flight. Did not have breakfast.
Cons: N/A

Pros: Comfortable beds. Pleasant staff. Nice breakfast. Easy access in and out of the building-including parking. Lots of surrounding stores, shops, and restaurants.
Cons: The checkout process was a bit unofficial. I'm sure its not always this way but breakfast can become overcrowded a bit but no big deal.
7,0 Good
Pros: Bed was very comfy.
Cons: There was limited seating for breakfast. Only when my daughter and I sat on the couch did they open up an additional room. It was cold and there were many housekeeping bins inside. It was accepted student weekend at UVM. The staff new the majority of people staying were for th a T event. Forethought to have, that room open and ready shouldn't have been an afterthought.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was the standard stuff for motels these days, which is to say that it was fine--the food was replenished rapidly and nothing had run out. The room was functional and comfortable. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. A nice plus was a coupon to an excellent nearby restaurant, Pauline's Cafe.
Cons: What separates a superior breakfast buffet from the ordinary ones for us is the quality and variety of fresh fruit. This place fell into to the 'ordinary' group. You can only access the place from one direction on the road, requiring a u-turn, but that was standard on the road, and not the fault of Holiday Inn Express.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Hot tub. Clean rooms
Cons: Nice pool. Good breakfast
9,0 Excellent
Pros: ease of check in, comfortable room, breakfast
3,0 Mediocre
Cons: Heater in the room was literally so loud we couldn't hear the TV with volume turned way up. Morning desk clerk smelled so bad it was truly difficult to stand at the counter just to check out. I rarely write bad reviews but this was bad.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The price, the breakfast and the recent updates to the Hotel! Felt like I was staying at a brand new hotel!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel employee and his staff really made our stay in vermont. they went over and above to provide assistance for my wife who suffered a leg injury. they treated us like family and we very much appreciated it.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Easy access to the 2nd floor and a nice variety for the free breakfast.
Cons: The beds are much too high. My wife had trouble getting into the bed.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: It was a great location from the strip mall and the main hat brewery.
Cons: The pool was so overly chlorinated that my husband and I both got rashes after being in for only an hour or less. The beds were okay, but the pillows were so uncomfortable. The walls and ceiling appear to be very thin because you can hear everything around you. The sidewalks around the hotel were also super icy, a little more salt would have made it safer to walk on. The breakfast was mediocre- greasy bacon, wet the eggs.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities and awesome breakfast. Relatively close to downtown Burlington.
Cons: Noisy ac/heater.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was great. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Enjoyed the hot tub.

Pros: Very clean, staff very nice, breakfast was wonderful. Would stay again.
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff is helpful and friendly. Everything is a little threadbare and long in the tooth but I appreciate a budget option near the airport. You get what you pay for.
Cons: Apparently they use a taxi service on weekends instead of a shuttle. There were three of us waiting in the lobby for the first 4AM taxi from a company called QUIK CAB on Sunday. We waited for FORTY MINUTES!!! This needs to be fixed.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: I did not require a handicap accessible room. I don't like them.

Cons: No English muffins for breakfast just bagels and white bread. Had a waffle however.

2,0 Mediocre
Pros: The location was good.
Cons: After a 6am fire alarm, we weren't told when we could re-enter the building. It was 34 degrees outside. Staff was stressed, unprepared for a situation like this, and unfriendly. Room was heavily furnished with worn furniture.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The morning breakfast was small and limited but sufficient. Clean room and a good location for our needs.
Cons: I am not a fan of feather pillows and they didn't have any alternative pillows available but the bed was comfortable enough anyway. The room and halls were a little too warm.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything, my room wonderful. breakfast was good the bed the sheets kept slipping off other than that the bed was comfortable.
Cons: well actually the TV could be up higher. it sits below the bed line so the line of sight is blocked.
1,0 Poor

Pros: It was open and had a room.
Cons: Dirty.Lobby is perfumed, this caused me distress. As a result I was unaware when I got to the room it was heavily perfumed as well.It set off three days of swollen face eyes and unpleasantness. The facility is not a two star it is a struggling one at best.

Pros: Great staff. Good breakfast. Lots of variety
Cons: A little run down and outdated
10,0 Excellent
Pros: They upgraded us to a king bed when we arrived, the room was super warm when we walked in, clean, smelt great (like clean/soap smell) and the fridge was cold. Staff was very friendly.
4,0 Okay
Cons: The rug was dirty! Including when I lifted the bed covers on both beds there was trash on the floor carpet! The beds were hard and lumpy! The bathroom had cracked tiles and loose ones too! No breakfast, no fitness center, no gathering room, etc. and people stood outside my room window talking loud late at night! I should of paid only twenty dollars.
5,0 Okay
Pros: A convenient stay-over on our way to Montreal. Nearby restaurants and supermarket plus lots of gas stations to fill up if you're making a longer journey, like we did. Generally, cost effective with a reasonable breakfast.
Cons: We have stayed here before and that visit was absolutely fine, so was disappointed to find our room wasn't clean/ed before our arrival. The breakfast wasn't great this time around either. It's a Travelodge, I'm not expecting smoked salmon etc., but perhaps it was because of the time of year we went (December), there was little left to eat (got there just before 9am).
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room. Met my expectations for the price point.
Cons: Room key cards kept de-activating. I had to walk out in the cold to the lobby/reception area multiple times to re-activate the key card. I did not store the key card near my cell phone so something was up with either the key slot or the keys themselves.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
5,0 Okay
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was right next to the room door which made it easy to unload suitcases.

Pros: The only likeable thing is the location of the Hotel.
Cons: The breakfast is a joke. Saying the is continental breakfast when you do not even have a place for it. The food is after the lobby on a balcony where you get some of the very very few options and need to go back to your room to eat it. Staff is not good as well they don't even look at your face. For sure the worst place that I stayed ever. We went having breakfast at Starbucks across the street.

Cons: The rooms were not clean. The doors were hard to open because when they painted them. The paint was still wet when they closed the doors the staff was not friendly at all. Both night clerks were standing in the corner of the front of the building smoking.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: 1. Nice & big rooms. 2. Awesome people at reception and housekeeping 3. Location is good (in-front of JCpenny, target, trader joe’s) 4. Oven & chiller in room.
Cons: 1. They gave us a room with two queen beds in one room (as a couple we wanted a room with king size bed not sure if all rooms are same). 2. Wash basins are inside the room rather than in washroom (personally we couldn’t like this idea).

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Despite all the reviews I've read online, this INN is a great value. The owner was kind enough to let us check in an hour earlier. It seems like they are very strict on check in time (3:30pm). When you walk in, you will notice the Tibetan culture hung up on the walls. You can tell the owner cares a lot about his hotel and shares his past. The room we had was on the 2nd floor with a king sized bed. It was a plus that it included a microwave and a fridge. The room was very clean, we had a view of Shelburne road and gas station. One thing: I would have swapped out the microwave for a coffee machine in a heart beat.
Cons: No coffee machine and no hair dryer.
2,5 Mediocre
Cons: Did not have access to my own room key and the room was extremely small. The window was open in the room and was really hot when I arrived. Did not have access to an AC. Would not recommend
4,2 Okay
Pros: The staff was OK, but not extremely friendly.
Cons: The pool was gross algae green and he did not fix by the next day as the owner said he would, and I wanted to use ice ONE TIME for small cooler (there were about 5 other cars in the entire place) and he said no ice, you people with coolers take it all. Towels were scratchy. Not extremely clean, it was dusty.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was kept very clean and orderly and the staff was friendly and professional. The location is ideal, just a few minutes from downtown Burlington, as well as from lovely hiking paths. It is a dated building but has been so well maintained that this wasn’t an issue.

Pros: The room was ok, it would have been better if i didn't have to constantly have my room card turned on again because they kept shutting it off every few hours
Cons: Owner is rude and very sketchy. He tried to tell me I only booked one night even though on the paperwork I signed I booked 2 nights. When I said that he proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions about why I was in burlington and why I was staying 2 nights because "only people up to something stay 2 nights" he then proceeded to shut my door card off 3 times that day and told me that I was "lucky" i caught it every time or I would be sleeping in my car that night. I then watched him accuse a guest about to check in of being a "loiterer" and a drug addict because he showed up 30 minutes early to check in and was sitting outside having a cigarette. The man was then told that he would be given a refund and to get off of the property because he doesn't want his kind of people around there. The owner then proceeded to threaten to kick me out because I was near the guy outside and he asked for a light. I don't know how this man even is still in business
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location, general cleanliness, good parking.
Cons: Office closed until 3:30 pm preventing check in until then, even if rooms are ready. Carpets need cleaning.
7,5 Good
Pros: It is a charming place to stay. I don't know if it was a full day of driving, or the Vermont air or the comfort of the room, but I slept really well.
Cons: if anything has to be critiqued, I would say that the bathroom was a cramped experience.
1,0 Poor
Pros: not much.
Cons: No staff on duty at the designated time for check in. An hour late. No chair for the desk. TV remote did not work. No coffee machine in the room. No breakfast, just a cup of coffee. Quite expensive for a 2 star motel. Too much emphasis on being from Tibet
5,0 Okay
Pros: Nothing staff not nice . Business can actually shut your air conditioning off from behind their front desk. Worried about how much power year using weather your windows open TV on I do not recommend staying here.
Cons: Everything about staff.

Pros: We were VERY impressed with the quality of this hotel and the spaciousness of the rooms. The rate was exceptional for the value we received. 10,0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our visit from check-in to check-out. The staff was terrific! The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. We saw one member of the staff go out of his way to help an older patron get her iPad hooked up to the hotel Wifi. The hot/cold breakfast was perfect for us-fruit, waffle station, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, juice and coffee. Again, the staff was great. Very attentive to replenishing breakfast food items, and very engaging with patrons. Two younger girls (ages 10-12 ish) came down to breakfast without their parents. (Very independent-and I’m sure their parents enjoyed the few minutes on their own as well!! ) The two staff members (independently of each other) struck up conversations with both girls. They made the girls feel very successful and happy! Our room was exactly what we needed. Clean, well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed the kitchenette to store beverages and leftovers from our local dinner (recommended by hotel staff and very yummy). We were in town for an athletic competition and needed a quiet place to stay. Our room had a connecting door to another room, so on our second night we could hear our neighbor. Once we asked her to stop singing, we didn’t hear a peep. The location was good for us. Close to drug stores, gas stations, restaurants, fast food, deli, beverage center—all on the same road. We will definitely stay here again for next year’s competition. Thanks again SmartSuite staff for a great visit! See you in 2021!
Cons: We would have preferred not to hear our connected-door neighbor as clearly as we did. We turned on our heat/ac fan and our shower to block her out. Eventually, we knocked on the door and asked her to be quiet. We never heard another sound. This was the ONLY negative in our stay!

Pros: View of lake
Cons: Construction so not much open
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the bed and the hot tub were awesome!
Cons: Parking was an extra cost and breakfast was not included. We were not expecting these extra fees.
5,8 Okay
Cons: The construction upstairs woke us up both days at 7am and didn’t stop all day long. It was extremely loud and obnoxious.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean.
Cons: Bathroom was small.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The location cannot be better.
Cons: The rooms are showing major age. While most things are not in disrepair, they did not necessarily perform like you'd expect (e.g. two plugs did not work, the tub did not drain well, the shower handle was loose and the water temperature would not change)

Cons: And we had to pay for parking without notice. Building was under construction so because of that the air quality was poor the rooms were very dusty

4,0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: No communication on construction going on prior to our visit , pool and pool area was not clean , hot tub not clean ... room not clean ,
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The location and potential
Cons: Dirty, horrendously understaffed, badly designed. We saw ants in the bar. Dirty dishes everywhere. One bartender trying to do everything. This was THE fancy hotel in Burlington. The price would indicate it to be a nice place but it’s not at all. I’m a Hilton Honors member but got a very bad room after booking a completely different one. I understand that you are doing a Renovation here but the price would indicate we’re staying at a five-star hotel when actually this is about a two star hotel at this time. No one answers the phone for room service?!?! Your parking situation is comical as long as it’s not really cold out otherwise it’s awful.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We opted for a “lake view” room and the sunset over Lake Champlain was breathtaking. Easy parking and a short walk to all manner of restaurants and shops.
Cons: Hotel is under renovation right now. But we’d been warned that was the case
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Good location for the downtown
Cons: Elevator was limited service at best. They are very strict with the definition of dog friendly such that we had a complaint after one instance of a dog barking. Staff was hit or miss but we are generally ok.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: room, location and view.
Cons: Construction going on while there but the staff was very accomodating.

Pros: Rental bicycles in front entry for client use.
Cons: Room view overlooking roof of adjacent building.

Pros: I loved how this hotel supports various local artists and businesses. It was expensive but I was ok with paying more since I knew I was supporting small businesses. The service was great and everything was clean. I liked the coffee/water stations on each floor as well as nightly entertainment. Food was great and the staff was knowledgeable about the local products.
Cons: We were a little confused by the parking at first. We just weren’t sure if that parking garage was the one we wanted. I tried to read online and it didn’t really specify where parking was, just that there was onsite and valet. I’d like to see on their website saw that the parking garage is indeed the onsite parking just for clarification.

Cons: The beds are much too high. My wife had trouble getting into the bed.
