I've stayed at many other hotels in this area. This was my first time at Corque. The hotel is clean with beautiful, large rooms. This time of year (February) the cost was very reasonable midweek! I decided to stay again on my next trip in June and the prices are 3x higher. I guess the lesson is, come in the of season midweek!

Pros (+) Overall the staff was attentive & supportive. Location was central & afforded easy access to all parts of Solvang & the surrounding areas. The hotel restaurant, Root 246 was very good. I stayed here for an entire week, the cleaning staff did such an outstanding job that it began to feel like home.
Cons (-) The room service breakfast was lacking at times; like missing butter & jam, cold butter which wouldn’t spread on toast, the wrong juice, arrived cold one morning.

Pros (+) Hotel Corque is a cute, clean, and fun place to stay. It’s right next to all of the cute little shops. It was cold so we didn’t use the pool. Our room was nice, updated, quiet, and relaxing. The staff were super friendly & accommodating. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again on any future trips to Solvang.
Cons (-) The things I didn’t like were that they charge hotel guests to use the gym facilities & there were no spa/massage services available for a nicer hotel. The price we paid $282 was a bit high for the value but that may have been due to it being Christmas weekend.

Pros (+) Clean, walking distance to shops, good TV, separate bath tub and shower, very quiet, free coffee, tea and bottle of Fiji water. Very accommodating staff.
Cons (-) No microwave oven in our room.

Cons (-) The pool and spa were not very clean. My boyfriend wound up with a rash and allergic reaction. Also , check in time is extremely late.

Pros (+) Cleanliness, comfy robes, staff, free wifi, coffee, tea, water in Mezzanine
Cons (-) $5 for bottled water in room (declined), tv remote was very cumbersome to use, could not change channels other than to go up or down, making it a slow and tedious process to get from basic channels to movie channels, signal kept going out and in, wifi signal kept dropping
