The Kenbury B&B is situated in walking distance from Shanklin train station. My room had a wonderful view over the gardens to the Sea. The cliff path is about 500m away for beautiful walks along the sea cliffs. The owners (Paolo and Paul) went out of their way to make me feel welcome, I couldn't have asked for more. Bed was very comfortable, water kettle for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cookies, nice TV set, nice bathroom with toiletries, all kinds of towels. The shower itself was great, easy to handle. Breakfast was very nice, with freshly cooked options as you like. The house is newly renovated, is charming and has a garden, and parking (that I didn't need, but it's worth mentioning). I was there off season, I found it quietly located. Owners provide all kinds of information about restaurants, sightseeing options, shopping, etc. I'll definitely come back.
Can't think of anything. All I needed was there. Or if I missed anything the owners provided it or info where to get it.
A very warm welcome and flexible with booking in arrangements. The room was great and the largest single bed I've come across and included the usual tea/coffee etc, but also a small fridge with fresh milk and water. The breakfast selection was superb with fruit, cereals, yougurts and a great cooked selection. The owners couldn't do enough to make my stay enjoyble.
Nothing apart from the rain, but that couldn't be helped!
Nice and Clean , Close to the train station. Host really friendly and helpful
Nothing. Was a nice stay
The location was ideal, great customer service. Great room with adjoining door where our children stayed, a comfortable stay. Outstanding, full isle of Wight breakfast, all local produce.
The atmosphere, the friendliness of all staff, the quality and choice for breakfast, the car parking and the location.
No dislikes whatsoever.
