Pros: Great location looking over Sete, with a beautiful view from the pool Sophie and family were so helpful and welcoming, and it felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel We will definitely be back!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Sophie and Guillaume were amazing hosts. They gave us loads of great recommendations. The location and the property are beautiful, with stunning views. Breakfast by the pool overlooking the Mediterranean were definitely a highlight. We’ll be back!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place. The hosts are very friendly - they picked us up at the train station. The room was beautiful, nicely decorated, a great feel in it, a beautiful terrasse with view on the sea and the pool. Very good breakfast.
Cons: it may be easier with a car as it is on top of the hill... hence the nice view!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely, along with the space, the room, and the neighborhood.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay in La Singuliere was a lovely experience. The place is beautiful and the hosts are supper kind and helpful. They went over the top to help us finding a way to solve a medical issue!
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Sophie and Guillaume were the perfect hosts. We felt extremely at home and comfortable. It was an ideal two day getaway. Very peaceful and serene.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: As “at home”: friendly staff, a nice dog, beautiful swimming pool
Cons: Nothing
7,5 Good
Pros: The view is excellent. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. As I had to leave early, they accommodated serving me breakfast before their routine time. They assisted us with dinner reservations and suggestions. All were very good.
Cons: I personally prefer a hot breakfast. The spread was restricted to only cold items. The location is on the top of the hill. So you must have a car or else it is a 45 minutes walk from the center of the town all uphill.
Hotel Sables D'or - Sète - Bedroom

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and super clean!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay! All the important things (for us) were provided: decent, clean rooms; nice powerful showers; great breakfast; and wonderful staff. I don't see anything that should be different. Also the location was nice; easy to reach by bus from Setè center and walking distance to the beach. There is also a number of restaurants in the neighbourhood as well as a smal supermarket, a bakery, etc.
Cons: Our holiday could have been longer :)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The service and the attitude of the staff. Most welcoming, really nice and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The location was great, half way to the nice beaches and the town center.
Cons: Not applicable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and great location! The advantage of having the terrace facing Mt St Clair was that we didn’t get too much sun so we were able to use it even though it was hot out. It was also great having the mini refrigerator so we could have our own cold drinks whenever we wanted.
Cons: Coffee machine in room would be nice.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very cheerful and helpful staff. The breakfast were terrific. Very fresh bread and croissants.
Cons: There was nothing to not like.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, new bathroom with Villeroy&Boch shower and Grohe furnished
Cons: No seaview, but very correct pricing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice size terrace overlooking the town and restaurant. Lovely shower . Fridge in the room. Good location
Cons: Twin beds...prefer one bed no kettle in the room. Later found we could ask for one.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very good choise for overnight stay. Simple and clean. The hotel is closed to the beach but 30 minute walk from the city centre. Staff was nice and recommended very good restaurant in the city centre.
Cons: Nothing special. Hotel has not own parking. If you want to park for free you must find the place in the streets behind the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so helpful and kind. Really clean hotel and perfect location.

7,5 Good
Pros: The location was excellent for easy access to the old town and the St. Louis festival. However because of the festival the price of the rooms was probably elevated I did not have breakfast as it was easy and less expensive to have coffee/croissant in a nearby cafe
Cons: Air conditioning didn't work too well
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this hotel and the tasting menu at the restaurant was absolutely outstanding - very good value at 48 euros.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Room style is lovely. I really like double door. It is still keeping originality. Double glazed French window/doors are so thoughtful keep noise out.
Cons: Breakfast is little bit basic and not nice orange juice. Rather than dont serve.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely air-conditioned room with a nice spacious bathroom
Cons: Shame there was no way to make a tea or coffee in the room, but there was a mini-bar fridge.

Cons: Nothing!
6,3 Good
Pros: Location comfortable bed
Cons: WiFi didn’t work. Aircon poor
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved our stay here. Clean, comfortable and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast outside in the courtyard was lovely. Great safe location for sightseeing. Highly recommend.
6,7 Good
Pros: Extremely clean, nice lobby area. Great location.
Cons: The room was extremely small with no view. The bathroom was in a small closet and to get to the sink it was necessary to pass through the room and into another small area with sink and shower. No drawers for items, only a very narrow side table so even purses sat on the floor. No closet for clothes, a small open rack with some hangers. Bed and bedding was clean but very basic and we had to request pillows, which were brought. No place to sit and certainly not possible to setup a laptop without sitting on the bed. Not possible to have anyone in the room and no gathering spot in the hotel to sit with travel companions or have a drink.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location and the lobby.
Cons: The room price does not reflect the quality and the amenities available.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Very friendly and accommodating staff. On-site parking was very convenient.
Cons: Might have been easier if we had known where to go to park before we arrived since it's a challenging town to drive in but that was a minor issue
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very well located. Private parking. Nice staff. Good view from the room.
Cons: Not easy to park if you have a big car. Breakfast could be better. Rooms ok for solo or couple but not with kids.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A perfect location together with excellent surroundings. Lots of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel.
Cons: Nothing really to dislike
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good. The location was excellent.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the centre of town..nice hotel. Clean. Good food and a good reception. And we had transport outside the hotel if needed.
Cons: We liked everything
6,3 Good
Pros: Staff were very friendly
Cons: The property was not value for money
8,3 Excellent
Pros: This Ibis hotel is no different from any other Ibis apart from the fact that it has the 'wellness' facilities (extra cost) and a heated swimming pool (free) - the very reason we chose to stay there. Our room was on the small side but perfectly adequate for a two night stay. The food served for breakfast was excellent and although a bit limited, the evening menu was not too bad. That said, the food was cooked very well and the restaurant staff were really good. The pool was really nice and was clearly designed as a place to chill out in. The hotel is located at the top of a small hill just back from the sea-front {? Lake front} and is relatively quiet.
Cons: Children being allowed to use the wellness centre swimming pool as if it was a water 'Fun Park'. Possibly a parental issue but something the hotel staff need to watch out for as this did spoil our stay. Not against kids having fun (far from it!) but not at the expense of the hotel residents using the wellness centre for relaxation purposes. Our room had a small balcony but there were no chairs to sit on and enjoy it.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good location Good value
7,9 Good
Pros: loved the swimming pool The proximity to the village and a good restaurant
Cons: nothing
9,6 Excellent

Cons: Its quige a distance from Montpellier airport. Otherwise, it was perfect
6,7 Good
Cons: you need to walk to the lobby to get some hot water, you can not make hot water for the tea in the room. And there is no free bottle of water in the room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The comfort and cleanliness
Cons: Outdoor area near pool needs looking after

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff always ready to help, little corner for children to play and of course the sky bar which is a good place for watching sunset. Walking distance from the beach
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel very close to the beach and the promenade
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Near beach and only short bus trip to centre of town and train station
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel. We booked 2 rooms as no family rooms available. One room was at the front of the hotel and had a balcony and was lovely and bright and nicely decorated. The other room was also nicely decorated but was at the side of the building so the view out to the car park was a bit bleak and made the room a bit darker, however it was still a good room. The breakfast was very good. Also the staff were very nice. The sky bar is a great amenity providing lovely cocktails. Hotel in a nice location if you want to be close to the beach and if you want a break from the very busy town centre (in August anyway). Also some nice restaurants on the doorstep. Also was walking distance to town (with a 6yr old and 8yr old) which was faster and easier than driving in the gridlock traffic.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: The air-conditioning worked well and the Wi-Fi was good. The bedsheets were clean.
Cons: The pictures of the rooms look much better than they really are. The furniture was used up and damaged in various places. In general the room had cheap feel to it. The toilette smelled of Urin. The towels were white/yellow from use. The continuous noise, both from the hotel, and from the busy road in front of the hotel (Cars trucks and motorcycles going by), kept us up until at least 2 o’clock in the morning and woke us up again around 6am. This room would’ve been appropriately priced at €80 not €200.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and roof top bar
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Our room/king suite was excellent. Roomy, comfortable with a balcony and sea view.
Cons: Location was outside of the "Sete Centre" :-) / and restaurants to the west were all residential/apartment based. Rooftop bar was excellent but dinner there and nearby doesn't start until 7pm.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean hotel and friendly staff. Great location.
7,5 Good
Pros: Very good staff.
Cons: Value for money doesn’t match. Old towels, not a good soundproofing.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean room with nice touches, such as USB ports.
Cons: The toilet was an issue, I am not a big person and I had to sit on the toilet before shutting the door.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable stopover on way south. Good breakfast.
Cons: We had stayed there before when they had a private secure car park. We were very upset when we arrived to find out that we had to park in a public car park. If we had known this beforehand we would have cancelled. However reception did reimburse us for the cost.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location,
Cons: Noisy birthday party and a dripping toilet meant a poor nights sleep
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel with clean rooms, very well located
Cons: AirCo difficult to manage...
3,3 Mediocre
Cons: Difficult to access. No staff on the premises after 9 pm. We were delayed and arrived after this time. We emailed to tell them this, but they said they never received it. We happened to meet another guest outside when we finally arrived and he let us in to the hotel. After searching in reception for our room key or some kind of note from the staff, we gave up and slept on a couch in the lobby!!!! When the first staff arrived at 6:30 in the morning they were very rude to us and showed no understanding of the situation at all. I asked if it would have been better had we just slept in our car!!! There was no kind of explanation, apology, or even simple acknowledgement of the predicament we’d been in by the staff, who kept insisting that what we did was “not permitted,” and they made it clear we should leave immediately. Based on our experience I could not, would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Clean & well equipped hotel. Location central to shops, restaurants, bars. Tried several of locally caught fish dishes - excellent. Station only 10 minute walk away. Twice weekly markets for fresh vegetables & fruit excellent. You could also buy clothes & accessories. Evening entertainment at hotel very good. No problem communicating with locals even though my french leaves much to be desired.
Cons: Missed lack of kettle . Used to having tea & coffee at any time.
4,2 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The room smelled pretty bad. I think this was due to the air con. Shower was also not fully functional.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about the hotel: its excellent location, nice staff, fancy and big-sized rooms. It is only a lovely 30 mins walk away from the beach.
Cons: N/a
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the restaurant was really lively in the evening and clearly met the need, lovely courtyard and the room layout with a concealed desk area would mean one person could be working without disturbing the other. Breakfast - limited selection but good quality.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Central location
Cons: No rails in shower.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location and interior is creative and quit fency
Cons: My son got bitten by some animals (bugs) in the night . But to be fair to the hotel they were responsive and apoligised

Cons: We left the window open for ventilation, but there was some street noise that we should have anticipated!

Pros: We bought the breakfast which was good value for money. Cons: The shower had no curtain and was hand held. This is typical of old French hotels though I have seen this many times, but this is France!! This was £53 per night and good value for money. Breakfast is an extra €8 we didn’t have it so can’t comment on the quality. Would recommend if you are on a budget or just staying one or two nights.

5,8 Okay
Pros: Not much
Cons: When we arrived with 2 dogs we were told we were on the top floor with the stairs outside. I have bad knees and took me ages to get up there. Beds were not comfortable I am sure there are park benches that are better to sleep on.

6,7 Good
Pros: The room was small but suitable for our needs. The hotel is located close to commerce and eating places. The management were happy to extend our stay by one day.
Cons: We asked for lits jumeaux, which was not noted by management. However, on arrival, the booking was amended satisfactorily. These beds, however, were very narrow.
