Pros: The employees at the Hampton at Montage Mountain couldn't have been nicer to us. All very pleasant and helpful, from letting my husband keep his bicycle in a safe place to giving us directions to Scranton the following morning.
Cons: My ONLY complaint is minor. The website booking described our room as having a view of the mountains -- only true if you leaned into the window and looked left past the car port directly in front of us.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Bed was a little too firm for me, and I'm spoiled with my king pillows at home.
9,0 Excellent
Cons: A little noisy off the highway. Very loud guests and children in the halls screaming late at night. Lots of slamming doors.

Pros: Breakfast was good, the rooms were a nice size
Cons: You have to pay to park in the parking lot
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and was patient with us.
Cons: The fact that breakfast was not included
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great and was relatively pretty quiet, too. The bed was really comfortable. I wasn't able to eat breakfast there, but it the bar and restaurant seemed pretty nice. The parking was pretty easy and convenient. It cost $10 for the night.
Cons: The view of the room was just of a parking garage, but it's understandable because you're staying in a city.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location and comfortable, clean furnishings.
Cons: Long waits to check when line was not long. Staff behind counter seemed irritated or overworked dealing with guests...and from what I could tell, no one was asking for anything special or difficult—just wanting to check in it out or get basic information. This was family weekend for U of Scranton, so understandably, things might have been busier than usual..but still show polite courtesy to guests. As for value, it is extortion how MUCH this hotel and the neighboring Radisson jack up the prices for U of Scranton events. I can understand a small differential but the price was close to double what I’ve paid for non-event weekends. Is t the hotel already profiting from Scranton parents by giving the Hilton a full house? Why exploit the situation further???
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I thought the location was very nice, convenient and safe. The bedroom was very nicely appointed and adjusting the air conditioning was very easy. Wonderful television!!!
Cons: There was only one box of tissues in the bathroom and none in the bedroom. Ran out very quickly. The bathroom was handicapped accessible but it was difficult getting in and out of the tub, even with the grab bars The water pressure was terrible,,,too low. The beds were a little too soft for my taste.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Room was clean and nice. I cannot complain about it at all.
Cons: Having to pay for parking in the Hotel garage. The is a unexplained pending $49.95 charge on my credit card too and I did not charge anything during my stay. I am waiting if I billed this amount or if it will be cancelled by Hilton.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Bathroom was bright with good counter space
Cons: Parking was difficult and inconvenient especially since fee was $9.95 per day.
6,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Room wasn't ready at 630pm when checking In
1,0 Poor
Pros: I called to get refund land last night I stayed two hours and had an allergic reaction. I called 911. Paramedics came. I left to another hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room size and beds are so comfortable
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: What I like the best was the large bathroom in the room. It would have been better if the bathroom had better water pressure and if the sink wasn't clogged.
Cons: The room was dirty. The headboard had stains everywhere. The rug needs to be shampooed. You can tell the furniture wasn't wipe down it had something dried up splatter across the dresser. I would never stay in this hotel again.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great and so was the food in the bar area.

7,0 Good
Pros: The building and history was astounding! Exquisitely appointed and opulently decorated. The period lobby and common areas were left to their distinction when you entered your modern private accommodations. Excellent for our needs!
Cons: The hotel was wonderful! The evening clerk was a large black eye to the establishment as she did not offer any assistance with an over booking issue that we experienced. The midnight clerk was an absolute ANGEL as she resolved our problem completely!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: . Food was delicious and staff very friendly
Cons: There was no facial tissue and in my opinion they overcharged for the pet charge. $70 seems rather high compared to our previous experiences
10,0 Excellent
Pros: That way it was an old train station.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: There was a very comfortable outdoor fire pit.
Cons: Best were slightly too firm
7,9 Good
Pros: 1. Double shower curtains. I have found this a positive trend in other chains; having one in the tub and one outside of the tub, insulates well in addition to diminishing extra water from finding the floor and becoming a slipping hazard. 2. A non-slip floor on the tub. Do everything you can to make the space as safe as possible. I recently booked a room with a Jacuzzi in a competitor’s hotel. My wife who is short had a very difficult time staying above water. The basin was completely slick. As a result, I appreciate the thought going into design at the Courtyard. 3. The bathroom has a fan. While all bathrooms must be vented, many have a passive system. And despite the noise, the room was insulated well enough that the sound wasn’t particularly noticeable in the bedroom area. 4. The sink is outside of the bathroom. I’ve gone back and forth on this; there are occasions, when being able to wash one’s hands while someone is occupying the bathroom is very convenient. I have decided that I favor this design. 5. The TV is on a pivoting wall mount. This allows a better viewing angle when seated in the chair or resting in the far bed. In other facilities, I’ve wondered why my view is restricted to straight ahead. This one definitely gets a thank you! 6. Outlets, outlets, and more outlets. I counted 18 visible outlets. In most hotels, you have to call out a search party to find more than four. These are very convenient, being distributed around the room and adjacent to wherever you tend to work or rest. This is extremely well done! There were also three USB charging ports in three locations. Thank you for being a part of this century. Other companies need to take notice. 7. There are two mirrors in the bedroom area. One is full length and the other is a midsize version behind the night stand. Not that I have much to look at, but the convenience is appreciated. 8. There are cans designated for trash and recycling. Based on current news stories and localities giving up on such
Cons: 1. The latch on the balcony door was a little sluggish. It actually looked like someone had tried to jimmy it. While having a place to get some fresh air is very nice, there’s not much of a view in the back of the hotel. Perhaps from the third floor, but nothing of interest from the obstructing tree line of the second floor. 2. Housekeeping missed the lingering beer can the previous guest must have left on the outside balcony. 3. The toilet kept running. It was hard to imagine that housekeeping didn’t recognize the problem when they last cleaned the room. I’m hoping they cleaned and flushed the toilet. It tuned out the water line hose had come off and the seat in the tank didn’t fully nest in the hole at the base of the tank. I reconnected the hose and slightly bent the handle bar down. Problem corrected. 4. There is a traditional shower bar by the faucet side of the tub. I never get into the shower from that side. I do exit there on occasion. This may be more of a habit that is dependent upon the setup at one’s home. Ideally, there should be one on both ends of the tub as a quick grab can come at either end. In that other facility, the bar on the Jacuzzi was on the end from which it was impossible to enter the tub. To make matters worse, when trying to exit the Jacuzzi, my wife slipped and hit her head on the under sink shelf. Despite the front desk saying they would report that to the General Manager, I never heard from them. That was not this hotel or another Courtyard. That’s a different property chain and obviously one that will not get a revisit. Safety needs to be overly attended to. 5. You need at least two levels of soap shelves in the tub to accommodate people of different heights and those taking showers as opposed to baths. 6. I don’t know who uses the room coffeemakers, but these can go, as far as I’m concerned. There are a few issues here. Thankfully this coffee maker wasn’t in the bathroom like some properties. When I was in high school, we did an ex

Cons: After traveling for 14 hours on the road, we came up to this Hotel with pot holes in the parking lot, cracked and broken side walks. We entered the lobby with dogs barking. The room was small and not cleaned, the toilet was really dirty. Most of the outlets did not work and the bed squeaked when you moved. We were awaken at 4 AM with the company next door that was hammering so hard that it actually shook the building. At breakfast we had to ask for things to be brought out. Overall, this hotel was a dump!

5,0 Okay
Pros: Low cost for a last minute reservation relative to surged prices of other hotels. Reasonable distance to highways, which made it a good place to stay for one overnight for a wedding.
Cons: Dated and low quality. Room cleanliness was below average, common spaces were filthy. Lose the bar in the basement, attracted strange behavior (men sitting on ground in hallway). Chain lock was broken out of the door, like someone broke in. Creepy.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Overall it was a very nice location and stay. 1 sour apple ruined this vacation.
Cons: Child was almost crushed in elevator door because of housekeeper. Had to force door open to prevent injury. He looks and laughs about it. Great restraint not to cause a scene with kids around. Management defends housekeeper. He's usually good they said!

5,0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Continental breakfast is a joke - on par with the local Econo Lodge. There was no hair dryer in the room. When I called the front desk they had no replacement. Then the girl hung up on me. Place needs a MAJOR overhaul! I stay because it's cheap.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The price was good
Cons: The rating was not reflected of what I'm used to staying at a three star.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are kept very clean and you can't beat the location!
Cons: The hallway smells slightly smoky and someone had a dog in their room that barked a lot! The central areas of hotel seem outdated but the rooms aren't too bad.
1,0 Poor
Pros: the rooms were relatively clean.

7,5 Good
Pros: The location is very near the bus stop.
Cons: Breakfast
5,0 Okay
Pros: The location was in close proximity to the event for why I was traveling.
Cons: Not necessarily however, there are a few things to note. 1. Service animals are permitted. Pets w/o service animal paperwork are prohibited. 2. The property is currently under renovations. 3. No fridge in room. 4. There are better options for families
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The one staff member was nice enough, the room was clean enough, and it didn’t smell. I didn’t enjoy much, however.
Cons: Door would not close properly and I was greeted to an open door where snow had blown in. Yes, snow. Definitely NOT what I expected for a $70 room. Half the motel was covered in plywood for “renovations”, but I’m not convinced it wasn’t just a monkey with a bulldozer, that’s how bad it looked.
5,0 Okay
Cons: The room door did not fit the door frame. I could see daylight from under the door and cold air came in. We had to block up the space with the ironing board. Also there was a cookie on the floor by the bed. Also I pulled the towel off the towel bar above the toilet and the bar fell down!
5,0 Okay
Pros: The bed was semi comfortable
Cons: Filthy dive with filthy check in guy. None of the door Keys we tried worked because the batteries in the handles were all dead. They claim they are revamping the place but the only sign was some dilapidated structure under the walkway.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: The only thing good about this place3 is that it was available.
Cons: Many: not very clean, front desk was not helpful, the pool was beyond disgusting (there was a used pregnancy test in it). I will never stay here again.
5,0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: There was a plastic bag over our smoke detector. The hot water knob in the sink did not work. Our friends coffee pot still had coffee in it. The building on the outside is falling apart.Overflowing trash can, trash, pizza boxes, etc. overflowing outside.

6,7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, the rooms were a nice size

Cons: Pounding of unloading trucks outside in the middle of the night. Hidden $10 extra fee for parking!

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast included,free snacks.

Pros: The staff was great and so was the food in the bar area.
