Cons: Unfortunately more supervision in sauna area is needed. Some international guests do not adhere to basic sauna rules (no shower before entering the pool after sauna, too many swimsuits in nude area, loud conversations in sauna, etc.). This is quite cumbersome for anyone who wants to relax and does not contribute to an overall good reputation of the hotel.

Pros: Breakfast was a good continental breakfast. I liked having my own coffee pot on my table. I liked that my ground-floor room was on the back side of the hotel overlooking a nice garden. I was glad that my room was spacious and had a private balcony. I had the room windows open at night but experienced no mosquitos, which was nice too.

Cons: We booked a room for 1 night for 4 persons with the possibility for an extra baby-bed. When we arrived, they told us that my smallest, 3.5 year old son is not a baby, so they charged us for an extra 20 EUR (although we had our own baby-bed for him, and there was enough space for that in the room), and made us feel that we are lucky that we were allowed to stay at all.

Cons: I don't know if this is a rule in the hotel but we were unfortunate to get dirty, completely untidied room with started soap and unchanged bed linen, after a complaint we got the second room - the same situation occured. Hopefully, the third room was clean properly. Secondly, only part of the 4-people apartments are comfy - the bedroom with double bed - for other 2 people there was only a small sofa which was too small!!!!! That was odd.

Pros: The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is situated on the opposite side from both Schladming ski areas, but the ski bus has a stop in front of the hotel. Those who have no problem walking up the hill will be delighted with the view from the hotel. Rooms are bright with quality furniture and plenty of space. We had half board and the meals were very tasty and plentiful. The spa area is great for such a small hotel (saunas, pool). The hotel staff is very kind and friendly and the lady manager is doing really great job and definitely trying to bring one more star to the hotel…

Pros: The dinner and breakfast and the location of the hotel
Cons: Smoking was restricted in the room but was allowed in balcony. This was allowing the cigarette smoke by one of my neighbours in my room and thus we had to keep our balcony door closed. We cannot enjoy the balcony and the view due to this as I've a 3 years old daughter and I'm allergic to smoke. Some of the staff were not considerate about English. I understand the significance of German language and I respect that, but considering it to be a tourist place, English should be understood and spoken.

Pros: The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is situated on the opposite side from both Schladming ski areas, but the ski bus has a stop in front of the hotel. Those who have no problem walking up the hill will be delighted with the view from the hotel. Rooms are bright with quality furniture and plenty of space. We had half board and the meals were very tasty and plentiful. The spa area is great for such a small hotel (saunas, pool). The hotel staff is very kind and friendly and the lady manager is doing really great job and definitely trying to bring one more star to the hotel…
Cons: When the lady manager took a day off the staff lost its attentiveness and kindness. Although the description of the hotel said that coffee / tea and cookies are served in the afternoon it was not true during our stay (December) on the grounds that it begins with Christmas. Also, the bowling alley was closed ... The cleaning ladies will make sure you do not oversleep the breakfast!

Pros: Very friendly and polite staff willing to help with any problem Breakfast was very good with a variety of choices like sausages, cheese, eggs, fresh fruits and so on At dinner, you have soup and salad buffet and the opportunity to choose the main course The room was quite small but comfortable and clean The towel and bathrobe were provided for the Wellness area
Cons: The location of the hotel is quite far the 4 Berge Skischaukel The bus goes 3 or 4 times a day from the hotel. Without a car, it is hard to get there as well as to train station..

Pros: Close to Dachstein and other high country locations. Free parking. Received a summer card which provides local discounts including the gondola to Dachstein Glacier.
Cons: Quite a way from zentrum for eating. Beds were noisy just turning over (could hear next door).

Hotel Tauernblick offers a hillside location with views of Schladming and the Planai Mountain, only a 15-minute walk away from the centre of Schladming. Private parking in available free of charge, and free WiFi is provided throughout the property. The Tauernblick’s spa area can be used free of charge and features an indoor pool, a sauna, and a fitness room. Styrian specialities and international cuisine are served in the restaurant which also comes with a terrace and a conservatory. There is a bar and 2 bowling lanes in the basement. Guided hikes are regularly available. Hotel Tauernblick offers bicycles for guests’ use. During winter, the local ski bus stops right in front of the property. From late May to mid-October, the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free benefits and discounts, including free use of local cable cars and buses.

Pros: We had a whole apartment with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms on 2 floors with kitchen and living room for a very low price.. booked it only 2 days in advance in a rush so were really surprised when we saw the huge place only for ourself

Cons: No heating in the room, rooms are clean, but I've found some dirty plates and glasses in the washing machine . Personals are good, especially Ognjen who provide all helps we need. Thanks again Ognjen.

Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location itself was convenient, close to a skubus stop and with a really nice view of the slopes and town in the valley.
Cons: The hotel is well maintained however you can tell that it is not very new. Water pressure is not great meaning you might find yourself standing under the shower with soap on your face waiting for water to start running again.

Pros: Because we have a small dog. This hotel is one of a few Hotels, in which the dogs are allowed. Therefore I booked this hotel. To our surprise, this hotel is direct near Rathaus. To ski Station (Planai) is ony a few min. on foot, to Planai west 5 min. by car. The breakfast and dinner were ok. the Staffs were also nice.

I especially liked the numerous fresh fruit- and vegetable/salad options!!! Our family room was actually a small apartment (with hallway, one 3-bedroom, one single-bedroom, and separate bathroom and toilet), so big enough for 4 people to spread out a bit. Even though we were under the slanted roof, the ceilings were tall enough to stand ...
