Located in Daun, Landhotel Müller is a 2-minute drive from Daun Maar Group and 5 minutes from Eifel Volcano Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Fantastic place. Nice, clean, and very warmful staff. I highly recommend !
Pros: Beautiful spot with nice room and balcony. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good, freshly baked bread and for a smal hotel plenty to choose from. Nice terrace outside the entrance of hotel to relax with other guest and some locals. The restaurant was also very good, we didn't went out for diner. That was the first time in years of travelling. Will go back for sure, such a great time only a 3-4 hours drive from Holland.
Cons: We loved everything, nothing to mention.
Pros: The staff here are really friendly and helpful, especially Mrs Zimmerman, who offered us lots of advice on activities in the area. We were able to keep our hired bikes in a locked garage at night and the hotel even arranged for the bikes to be returned, which saved us a trip into town. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the first night. Fantastic buffet breakfast with a huge choice of hot or cold food. The room was quite basic but comfortable with a lovely balcony you could sit out on, with a view over the fields.
Cons: The towels could have been a bit bigger/softer. Somewhere to keep a bottle of water cold would have been fantastic as the weather was very hot and there was nowhere local where we could buy reasonably priced, cold drinks. I realise that 3 star hotels don't normally provide fridges/mini bars in the rooms but even use of a fridge would have been very helpful.
Pros: We came here in very hot conditions, cycling from the Rhine valley. The hotel is lovely and cool in hot weather. The manager was very helpful and friendly - he even got us breakfast very early so we could cycle to our next destination in the relative cool of the morning.
Pros: In the direct vicinity there were several nice walking paths through the forest
Cons: The bed was not very good
This 3-star hotel offers spacious rooms, a traditional restaurant and free parking spaces. It is located in the district of Gemünden, near the health resort town of Daun. Rooms at the family-run Hotel Restaurant Berghof are located both in the main building and nearby guest house. Rooms in the guest house feature a private balcony and can be easily reached via a lift. A large breakfast buffet is provided each morning and is included in the room rate. In the evenings, local and international food is served in the Berghof's restaurant. Fish and game dishes are a speciality here. Guests are welcome to relax on the terrace and sun-bathing lawn during the summer.
Pros: Alles was perfect
Pros: Breakfast included an egg and take away lunch! Lovely view from the restaurant.
Pros: The staff was friendly. Breakfast good. Food very good. Great Place.
Pros: Breakfast buffet was great, especially the homemade jams were very good. Dinner at the hotel was also very good - though on weekdays the menu choices were limited. Our room was quite spacious, and located in a quiet building next to the main hotel/restaurant building. Plenty of parking space inbetween the 2 buildings.
Cons: No coffee or tea making facilities in the room - this is something we find in most hotels we go to, and is much appreciated. So we missed it here. Room was cleaned even when we put up the "Do not disturb" sign. Also the road between the suburb where the hotel was located and the actual town center was closed due to extensive road works. Not the hotel's fault, of course, but had we known we would probably have booked another location

Pros: Fantastic little location, heard nothing from the neighbours, super clean, comfortable, really great bed - really happy with my choice
Pros: Very nice hotel in the middle of nowhere! Surprising high-tech! Has floor heating! So make sure you put the heating low as this type of heating is very efficient! Very peaceful and a great place to relax or walk.
Cons: Very quiet . So if you want to have action, then this is the wrong place.
Pros: very good buffet breakfast free parking quet
Cons: WiFi seed and coverage
Pros: Excellent restaurant with home raised beef

It offers a varied menu of freshly prepared dishes. Free parking is provided by the hotel.
Pros: I loved this hotel as the location, staff, pool and food were exactly what we were looking for. No hotels at the nurburgring have nice food and a swimming pool but this one has it all and only a short drive away.
Cons: No air conditioning.
Pros: Room is clean and pool/spa area is nice too.
Pros: Food and especially Breakfast were delicious. Pool was nice. Room was clean.
Cons: One waiter was extremely unfriendly and arrogant. Sadly the person at check-in was also very unfriendly and reproachful.

Pros: Four poster bed. Breakfast excellent.
Pros: Nice atmosphere, beautiful room, very nice staff. Great place to stay!
Pros: The location was great. Nice view over the village. Nothing to complain the breakfast was good and tasty. Friendly staff.
Pros: It is located in an old castle with rooms having an atmosphere. It is located at the beginning of the biking path Daun-Bernkasel-Cuers which replaces an old train track. You can go down by bike and come back by bus.
Pros: The schloss is a castle-like building situated above Daun, with views of the countryside all around. It is full of antique furniture and charm. The staff are also of another world - but charming too! What we loved was the thought and consideration in every detail: the newspaper and information sheet at breakfast, the loose leaf tea, the delicious mineral water in the spa, the relaxed nature of the place but everything you need. The staff made us feel really welcome and were on hand (you never had to hunt for them) with lots of good humoir. The layout of the place with multiple terraces made it a very relaxing haven to be. We really felt we had had a true holiday on a weekend break. The room was lovely too!
Pros: Well placed. Old style. But modern
Cons: Disappointed with the menu for the evening meal. Only one main meal choice or one vegetarian
Pros: We had dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious, I'd go back just for dinner! The pool and spa area are spotlessly clean and rooms were well proportioned and comfortable. Even had a kettle which was very useful. Location is good for the surrounding area, walking etc. The proprietor was really helpful and worked very hard to ensure guests were looked after.
Cons: The smokers on the terrace!
Pros: Very nice setting/location, great swimmingpool/sauna open till late in the evening, nice breakfast
Cons: no airco
Pros: Excellent Breakfast, lovely location, elegant hotel. The pictures say it all, but don't underestimate the great sauna, steamroom and swimmingpool. Relaxing in the room or garden after a swim tops it all. The more senior staff are excellent and very helpfull. The very young and unexperience restaurant helpers (the nights we were there) were far out of place, due to lack of hospitality training and appearance (clothing). The Chef however presented the most lovely dinner (not on Tuesdays), unique flavours and high class; all this is the most elegant setting. A must-go, whenever you have the chance.
Pros: BEAUTIFUL SETTING.
Cons: DINNER MENU TO PROVIDE A LITTLE MORE CHOICES

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location in a breathtaking area, one of the prettiest in Germany. Excellent fitness facilities. Large indoor swimming pool. Very good breakfast with salmon and fresh cut fruit. Nice, large rooms.
Cons: Check-in could be a little earlier. If you arrive at 14h15 and they let you wait exactly 45 minutes, hmmm....
Pros: Breakfast great. Swimming pool, fitness room, wellness, tennis hall - all great. The house was great - offered quiet place and privacy despite the fact that lots of families were around.
Cons: "Pfannkuchen" were not tasty.
Pros: Everything was nice... Property, food, accommodation, clean... Utilities... Very nice place for kids...
Cons: Nothing... Everything was very good... Satisfied...
Pros: Super location with great facilities for the whole family. The rural setting was great to get out and about walking around the Maars. Chalets were well laid out.
Cons: Wifi was a little spotty in the chalets but that gave us a great excuse to bring out the board games.
Cons: Decorating is very dated in the bedrooms
Pros: Nice breakfast. Very nice place to have a vacation there.
Pros: This was our second visit to this well laid out property in the Eifel mountains. Perfect if you're travelling with a family. We have stayed in the holiday chalets which have plenty of room to accommodate us all.
Cons: The wifi signal in the holiday chalets is not the best.
Pros: Food excellent, spa, room and staff service
Cons: Missing an out door pool
Pros: good sized bed room
Cons: Crowded breakfast area. Not at all peaceful!
A stay at Beim Heines places you in the heart of Daun, steps from Eifel Volcano Museum and a 5-minute drive from Gemuendener Maar. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Beds where ok Room was big
Cons: The bar directly under the room, very noisy the entire night! No one at the reception desk/ desk was closed, had to check-in in the bar.
With a stay at Hotel Stadt Daun in Daun, you'll be steps from Eifel Volcano Museum and a 5-minute drive from Gemuendener Maar. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast was great - a really big choice and very fresh and tasty. The bed was comfortable. Even though, it wasn't really cold enough for heating, the radiators worked so we were able to dry off our clothes when we got caught in the rain.
Cons: The worst thing for me was how noisy it was at night, even mid week as my room was above the restaurant/bar. I had to shut the windows to block out noise. There's no reception as such. It was quite difficult to get any information or ask questions as staff at the bar were always busy. The swimming pool does not belong to the hotel and it wasn't that clear how to use it as there wasn't always somebody to ask.
Pros: Clean Hotel with nice breakfast buffet
Cons: The personnel could be a little bit warmer
Pros: nice town. Clean room.. TV good. Swimming pool looks like its in the hotel BUT its next door
Cons: breakfast was a bit of a let down , orange juice was always empty. eggs ..had to wait. fresh rolls ..had to wait.. cheese...had to wait.. Table still wasnt clean from the last visitor
Pros: The breakfast was nice and the staff was really gentle.
Cons: The pillow was too soft
Pros: Good location, great breakfast buffet
Cons: Fairly old furniture / decor, looks like nothing has been renewed for a long time. My room & bathroom absolutely fulfilled its purpose, but it was quite expensive for only that. You can get a bright and modern hotel room in London for the same price. It was the only one available at the time though and I guess as long as there is demand, prices will be like that.
Cons: Reception was in the bar
