Pros: The hotel is situated in a very charming French village. It lies in a close proximity to the motorway. The rooms are very cosy, romantic and clean. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We also loved the delicious Easter egg chocolates waiting for us in our rooms and the view from our window onto the church's rooftop which was a home to four stork nests.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location was fine, fairly close to Saverne centre & hotel has character, comfort & elegance. Restaurant echoed this & our dinner was delicious.
Cons: Nothing really, but some of the electrical sockets were not the best.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This is a unique hotel, with great character. The restaurant and food is great. This is our third stay at the hotel. The nearby town is excellent, and the hotel is within easy walking distance.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This is truly an old villa converted into a hotel. The owners have done an excellent job in trying to maintain the original setup by displaying all sorts of memorabilia in the hotel, referring to the history of the villa. Each room also seem unique in it’s setup and decoration. Very nice outside area.
Cons: Not all the rooms have airconditioning and despite booking AC, one of the rooms did not have it. As it wasn’t too hot we didn’t have issues but still we did not get what we booked. Breakfast was limited in choice. Really surprised to be staying in a hotel in France and not be offered croissants at breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing environment, I had a really nice nap on the sunbed by the pool. Nice traditional building.
Cons: I couldn't work the egg cooker for breakfast and didn't receive any help with it from the waitress. Bed also a little on the narrow side for a double.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A truly splendid, beautiful and fantastic place with a soul, where you are immediately immersed in comfort and the rush of the world stays behind the front doors as soon as you enter. A feast for the eyes, your soul and body. The terrace, the garden and the pool area provide lots of quiet space for rest, work and relaxation. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast was superb. I travel a lot and hardly ever give a 10/10 to any hotel but Villa Katz managed to surprise me in a positive way and by far exceeded my expectations so I know I will return as I travel frequently in this area.

Pros: June 2019: Nice location and room, with safe parking.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Liked the quirky decor and the gardens
Cons: Lots of narrow stairs to negotiate for the higher floors

Pros: the hotel was very good value - no frills but clean- and the staff were friendly and helpful.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was on a bike tour through the area and the hotel room was good and located in the center. They also had a good storage area for my bike.
6,7 Good
