Nice stay at Marriott Riverfront
Renovated rooms, nice and friendly staff (Bell services, Front Desk and Housekeeping). The hotel is under renovations, which is not a big deal. Room is spacious and the river view is beautiful.
The prices for wi-fi and business center are outrageous. I was traveling with family from out of country and they needed wi-fi. It's a little ridiculous to charge 15 bucks a day for internet access. I loved the hotel and staff, and hope this policy changes so that people don't complain about their stay over something that the staff obviously has no control over.
Good, But Not Great
The rooms are well-sized, staff extremely attentive, great location. Walking distance from all of the major sights. Bed very comfy.
Undergoing lobby remodeling, so something to consider- parking suboptimal. Room had cracked counter, significant dust in bathroom- bathroom light uneven on ceiling and flickered before turning on. TV small for room size.

It's absurdly overpriced given the fact it's a Courtyard...not worth it. Plus I specifically called to ask about parking for guests and was told it was free. It wasn't; $21 a day. Be careful if you don't like paying for the privilege to park your car on top of a room that was $215 a night. If they told me before it wouldn't have bothered me as much. Most places in the historic district charge to park but I didn't know that and I called and asked. And the girl couldn't possibly care less that they gave me bad information. Also, they didn't come to turn our room down until after 6 PM! We were already out for the day and back in the room getting showered and changed when they knocked on the door. Overall, not worth it.
I liked that everything was clean organized and that everyone was really nice and helpful .
I did not like that the fee for parking was so high and charged each day of stay . $21 a day is a little much !! I did not like the lobby lounge closing at 10:00 did get a drink at 10:09 but several turned away . I didn't like that there was not a gas fire pit area to sit out by the river on the patio . Would have made our trip feel really romantic to have a drink by the river with a fire . And extra for river view Really ? Looking through the lobby and out the windows at the end of the building , come on people no scamming your a nice hotel !! Call it a pool balcony with view not River !

The parking was 19.00 a day to park and breakfast is only provided if you order it and pay for it. I usually only stay at hotels that provide breakfast and almost always choose one that doesn't require an extra fee for parking. Oh and there are no regridgerators or microwaves in the rooms. I requested a view room which I did not recieve. Kept hearing construction work above our room.
I liked that there were Balcony Rooms facing into the lobby. It is a huge space that is enclosed with glass. Its beautiful! I loved that the room was so spacious and the bathroom was vary roomy.
I didn't like that the beds were double beds. We booked on Valentines day and thought we had booked a king size bed but they had sold out of those by the time we arrived.
