Pros (+) Loved the setting and so great to be able to stay and play at the same place. No need for a car! Lovely garden setting.
Cons (-) A/c not working in one of our rooms. Needed to switch rooms three times before we got a room we booked. Restaurants not great and room service even worse. Despite messages and phone calls....no one responded for 3 hours!!
Pros (+) The location is great - walkable to downtown and right along the river. The hotel was clean and well maintained, bed was comfy, shower was nice and staff were friendly.
Cons (-) The crazy loud fan on the AC unit in the room. The hotel restaurant had a terrible chef the night we went. His attitude and banter were repulsive.
Pros (+) The building is gorgeous, the staff are friendly, and the surroundings are very pretty as well. I had been in Saskatoon before for school and always dreamed of getting to stay at the Bessborough. I finally did this time, and I'm so glad. Very highly recommended!
