From the outside the building looks nice, the lobby is also nice, but the rooms are bad.
The hotel carpets are dirty and the rooms need remodeling, everything in the rooms is very dated.
Breakfast was pretty good...standard fast food fair with exception of self-make waffles. Room was decent size with large bed and fridge/microwave combo.
I killed three roaches in the bathroom...to be fair, they were spraying when I was there.
The room was dirty, tired, walls were thin. You didn't have password protected Wi-Fi. Really, in this day and age??
I loved the cleanliness and friendly staff. The breakfast was really good! Very close to the beach. I enjoyed it
Good for price.
Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast needs cooked food like eggs.
Beds were comfortable
This is a pet friendly hotel yet every time we left and our dog barked we got a phone call to return. They had us in a room right next to the front desk and breakfast area which would cause her to bark. We requested a new room and they said they didn't have any availability. We kept giving her Benedryl, notified the staff we would only be gone 2 hours for a Christmas Eve dinner. They called 20 minutes after we left the hotel. This disrupted and rushed our dinner. We stayed here about 2 months ago with our dog and had no problem. The front desk was extremely rude while dealing with this situation. We will no longer use this hotel and we go to Oklahoma once a month. Shape up your staff and pet policies and we might return.
My room was clean & comfortable. Great to have ironing board & iron, refrigerator & microwave and pets welcome!!
Stayed 4 nights. Two guests needed one chair each and one luggage rack each...not available. Much wear visible throughout. Would stay there again only if primary purpose of trip was visiting Ringling Museums.
Great first vacation
This was our first trip together and it was awesome. Sarasota is an amazing place. The hotel was very close to everything. The staff was very helpful! Anytime we go back, I'll be staying there
Front desk staff was very helpful. The lobby area is nice. Parking was easy. Rooms were nice and pretty quiet.
First room smelled like a cigar bar so the front desk gave us a different room. The second room smelled much bettter, but there was someone's leftover dinner in the mini fridge.
