6,5 Good
Pros: good food and good onsen.
Cons: The front desk check-in clerk wasn't too courteous. Her English was good but her attitude wasn't impressive. We asked a question about the extra credit card fee of 3.5% but she avoided answer or didn't care. Also, she did not explain other details use of facilities very well. Fortunately, the assistant who guided us to the room was very courteous and helpful. Also, I sent them a email asking for the possibility of changing a smoking room to a non-smoking room but never had a answer for that from the hotel. I was disappointed with their ignoring my inquiry in advance.

Cons: Nothing
7,0 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.
Cons: The process to cancel and change the reservation was terrible. So i spend a lot of time to explain about situation.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Overall, this was a very nice stay. Reasonably-sized rooms for Japan, pleasant staff, and overall a good value. Being across the street from the Sapporo Factory mall with lots of good dining and shopping options makes up for the fact that it's not very close to downtown (plus there is literally ALWAYS a taxi immediately available). Breakfast, while not included, was still a good deal with their coupon.
Cons: It was farther from the city center than I would have liked, and I would have liked in-room coffee and not only green tea, but that is pretty minor. Our mini-fridge did not work but we managed.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: nothing,都不满意
Cons: Room is small, site is far , hotel is old.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and I was really comfortable when I was here

9,3 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, nice, clean and functional room, good sushi at the Japanese restaurant.
Cons: I was hoping the hotel would have had a swimming pool!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast. Location. People. Garden. View. All of above were excellent!
Cons: Mini bar policy. Complimentary water is supposed to be supplied one per person per day as other hotels. And it is not informed fully in advance how many bottle of waters are complimentary. Be aware that there were only bottles of water at the mini bar without any signs and it turned out that only a couple of water bottles were complimentary. (Our family were three members). We had to pay for extra water we consumed when we checked out.

Cons: If you drive, you will be charged parking fee of JPY1030 through out your stay.
6,3 Good
Pros: Comparatively quiet place near a beautiful park
Cons: We stayed there for the first nite in our 10 days trip and another 3 consecutive nites when back to Sapporo before leaving Hokkaido for home. The staffs were not very friendly. Looked a bit cool though they smiled during our last 3 nites stay. It is a bit strange and never encounter such a rule in a supposed stars hotel that we were only given 3 bottles of water (we are 3 adults) free during the whole stay.
6,3 Good
Pros: Convenient location Beautiful park next to it
Cons: Small room A bit old decor and furniture
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The place.

Dormy Inn Sapporo Annex Hot Spring - Sapporo - Building

8,6 Excellent (3 048 reviews)
R1 603+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Dormy Inn Sapporo Annex Hot Spring in Sapporo (Sapporo City Centre), you'll be steps from Sapporo Tanukikoji Shopping Street and 5 minutes by foot from Odori Park. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The bath.
Cons: No sheet on the bed. Just a duvet. Far too hot.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, large bed, nice onsen to relax. Surprise offer - free coffee during the day and free noodle soup in the evening.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located at a popular shopping street. Very convenient. The hotel is clean. It offered free Raman noodle for supper!! The buffet breakfast is expansive but has lot of variety!
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness of the hotel
Cons: With the front desk staff I encountered it was difficult to make them understand because of the language barrier . Howe, that’s my fault as much as there’s as I can’t speak Japanese!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Near airport bus stop. Breakfast is great ! The guest can use public bath at both building.
Cons: I didn't get the free noodle cup for not cleaning the room as the hotel mentioned.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Dormy INN is one of my favorite brands of hotels. They provide all these little extra services during your stay to make you more comfortable - free ramen as a night snack, open bath on the top floor, free laundry services (dryer is pay per 15 minutes), and free shuttle to the Sapporo JR station in the morning after you checked out. All considerate additions to just a hotel stay. The room is regular Japanese standard size, which is not very big, but OK with me as I was traveling alone. All bathroom amenities provided, plus more if you are using the public bath on the top floor. The public bath is indoors. This hotel is located right on the Tanuki Koji Shopping Street. Besides shopping along the pedestrian only street, there is no lack of eateries anywhere you go around the neighborhood. The hotel provides a map of restaurants nearby and gives you suggestions if you tell them what you like. The free morning taxi from the hotel to the Sapporo JR station requires booking the night before you leave and it's only one directional when you check out from the hotel. I took a taxi from the Sapporo station on arrival to the hotel and it cost slightly close to 1100 yen during busy hour traffic. A cheaper way to get to the hotel would be by train on the Namboku Line. Two stations from the Sapporo JR station + seven minutes walk from the Susukino station after you get off the train. If you are not bringing a huge suitcase, this is quite doable.
Cons: I could see the open bath area getting crowded if a lot of people should decide to use it at the same time. Not an extremely large facility.
7,0 Good
Pros: Room was tiny. Service was good and complimentary ramen was a plus. Location was great
8,3 Excellent
Pros: It's close to town and all the shopping. saying that there are other hotels offer the similar with bigger rooms.
Cons: This trip I stayed at 2 different hotel. I went there with a rental car. I didn't like the parking. It's not so user friendly you need to call first and get someone to get your car back due to its one of those machine parking. They stack your car up and this process take a long time. Also it costs 1500yen a night. When across the street Karaksa hotel has much better parking and it only costs 1200yen a night. Their cheapest room... Is really small. So watch out. And toilet and bath aren't separated with only plastic door. So if you are there with someone pls bring a loud speaker and turn on your favourite heavy metal to hide your 2nd noise.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: I am very fond of this hotel, having stayed here on my various visits to Sapporo. Its location in the covered Tenukigoji Shopping Arcade makes it a convenient place to stay, and is welcome for returning in the evening if it is raining. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, and they make it a relaxed place to stay. Breakfast is very good, with plenty of healthy choices. That it is served til 10.00am each morning is welcome if you are a late to bed person. I love the Onsen, and that it is open through the night, which means you don’t have to rush back to use it. The free laundry service is a real plus, as is the free taxi service to the JR Station. The double room is comfortable for a single person, but might be a tighter squeez for a couple.
Cons: The number of tv channels is very limited, and there might have been more accessories offered in the room, for example a sponge and cream lotions. It’s not cheap to stay here, but is to be expected, especially at weekends, in the summer season. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to any visitor to Sapporo.

6,8 Good
Pros: Room space
Cons: No free water and cofft
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very polite and friendly. Kinjou-san (who I believe was still in training) took the effort to explain the room's facilities to us and to converse with us in English, which made us feel very comfortable and at home! The room is extraordinarily spacious, with a large bathroom containing both a bathtub and a shower. Most amenities you could want are provided for. This is the only hotel I would stay in when in Sapporo!
Cons: There was no anti-slip mat provided for use in the bathtub. Personally we did not encounter any issues but I would imagine that this might become a problem for some people. No other issues otherwise!
4,3 Okay
Pros: Room is spacious. Staff is diligent and helpful.
Cons: Hotel room is very dated.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and neat room, large room. Good English speaking staff
Cons: n/a
9,1 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are very spacious and beautiful. The view overlooking the river was fabulous. The staff is very considerate and helpful. The gift shop had a wide selection of "omiyage" products and was open late.
Cons: The location is a bit outside the central part of Sapporo. It was a 15-20 min walk to the Snow Festival. The rooms were exquisitely remodeled, but the bathrooms still need an upgrade.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location was great just outside of the centre next to a beautiful river so you could really relax without the feeling of being in a busy city but walking distance from the famous Odori and the beer festival. Bathroom was beautiful and the rooms spacious, everywhere was very clean with friendly helpful staff. The bus to the airport stops right outside the door which was very convenient.
Cons: The room was atmospheric but there was not enough light to see inside my suitcase or to make a cup of coffee. There was a friendly explanation of the room to start with where she explained the obvious but not the important things like all the restaurants and bars in the hotel close at 8:30 so after the fireworks we were left without dinner and had nowhere to go to relax after being out all day.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The room size, service, ever so helpful concierge
Cons: The veg food options
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, good view
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. Nice accomodation, friendly and kind staffs, not-so-modern yet clean and well-preserved luxurious decor. I loved the place and hope that sometime I'll visit there again.
Cons: none
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and luxurious hotel, spacious facilities and rooms. Even has it's own convenience and souvenirs store. Very friendly and professional staff. About 15 minute walk to Susukino and downtown Sapporo. If you don't like walking there is a bus stop right outside with buses going regularly towards downtown, and the hotel also have a shuttle bus 5 times a day to the station.
7,5 Good
Pros: The room is bigger than regular room in Japan, shuttle to airport right in front of the hotel

Pros: location, public bath, amenities
Cons: not spacious, pricey
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location on Odori Park! Initially booked a double room which was average japan size, however the previous guests may have left the window open which caused for mould to begin growing just below the window sill. However, when we went to tell staff about it, they happily upgraded us to the top floor room which was huge and beds were so comfortable! The view of Odori park was great! It was during the Sapporo Snow festival also! Didn’t get a chance to go but there is a spa on the very top floor that over looks the park too that is open till approximately 2am! Very friendly and helpful staff as well!
Cons: Our initial room with the mould was a bit off putting but we decided to put up with it as we were just staying for one night. When we told staff they happily upgraded us! So that made things 100x better!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Just the best hotel with perfect cleaness and price competitive
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The hotel just located opposite to Sapporo station on JR side. Really great for traveling around the city or another cities.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent! Directly across from Sapporo Station and steps away from the bus stop for the Airport Limousine Bus! Underground shopping accessible from the hotel elevator and all major stores, including Daimaru, BIC Camera, Uniqlo, a block away! Odori Park and Tanuki-koji within 4-8 blocks by underground mall. Staff was friendly, very accommodating and always helpful. The room was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it was very clean, and the maid service was excellent. Although we did not require daily cleaning, the cleaning staff always left a bag on the door with new towels, and bathroom accessories. Ice and vending machines on every floor! Breakfast was very good with a great variety of food!
Cons: The room was a little smaller than I thought it would be. It did not need the stuffed chair, as it took up some very needed room and also made opening the refrigerator door very difficult. No closet. Refrigerator did not cool and could not locate the thermostat.

Cons: Didn't have safe box in the room
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location is great for shopping and sightseeing! This is my second time staying in this hotel with family.
6,8 Good
Pros: The location to Sapporo station was great, using the underground walkway to stay out of the heat was very convenient. The room was clean. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The room used to be a smoking room at some point and the smell lingers on. And the bathroom also smelled bad. The bath tub had rust on the drain and the grout was yellow and orange. It made me shower instead of taking a bath. The value for what I got wasn’t worth the price. There are other places with better renovations or newer rooms that would be a better choice.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: old facility
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location to train station. Staff is great. We feedback that there is bed bugs for one of the bed, they sent in pest expertise to inspect although nothing found and change the beddings. They still asked if we would like to change room, we didn’t change as it was too troublesome. Bathroom, room size is good considering Tokyo rooms are small in general.
Cons: No coin laundry available.
7,5 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The room is quite small and a bit old
6,3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: I had been traveling for 2 weeks by myself and I was ready to go home so I booked this hotel. It isn’t 5 stars by anyone standards. They were nice staff when I first arrived trying to help with my suitcase and greeted me like a5 star hotel. I got there early so I left my suitcase and went for lunch as they say check in time is 3pm and that’s fine. So I went to have lunch and came back around 2.30 and wondering if my room was ready. The nice lady at the front desk was very polite and just said that it wasn’t ready so ok I waited. There weren’t anywhere comfortable you can really sit , no sofas, just seats so i found a nice chair in front of the loos. Until 2.45 I kept seeing people getting their rooms so I went and asked again about my room, the lady who was assisting me was very nice and very softly spoken and said that my room wasn’t ready. Then I saw this family who came on the same train as I did they were about to be taken up to their room(this is now 2.50pm) so I asked the receptionist again why this family’s room was ready. Then suddenly another receptionist just turned up and said No your room isn’t ready and her tone was rude so I turned and said how come this family has a room now, so she just said because they paid an early check in. I understand the rule of 3 pm check in but I just felt like I was being treated badly because I didn’t pay for the early check in. They could be a bit nicer. Maybe I’m just the unlucky one. So finally when I got my room I found the room the bathroom dirty and the towels were not 5 star hotel standard. It’s like 2 stars standard. I called house keeping and the head of house keeping turned up and he was very nice and he spoke English well. He arranged the toilet to be cleaned right away. I told him about the situation I had with this receptionist and he was very understanding and tried to compensate me by offering free breakfast. But I didn’t want breakfast , that’s why I didn’t pay for it from the start.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We received a free upgrade and our room was spectacular. We had a private terrace and garden. The bathroom was unbelievable. We enjoyed it very much
Cons: Nothing. It was great
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lovely classic luxury hotel
6,8 Good
Pros: Good location. Rooms were ok but felt like it could do with an upgrade.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: It's located in the heart of Sapporo, it's easy to get around from the location. The room came included with nice robes and slippers. If you can book with the meals I would highly recommend it. There's three excellent brunch spots to choose from with 2 being buffets.
Cons: It was probably because I was staying during the Sapporo Snow Festival that it costs more than $300 a night but it was still too rich for my blood.

Cons: the layout of the room abit weird.. wasted alot space..
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Typical Japanese rooms that's about 10 years past its prime, but still holding on nicely. Location is superb, great service, larger than average hotel, huge lobby. Overall a good choice.
Cons: Tired decor.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is super convenient. The breakfast of second floor was pretty good, the fruit, cake, milk and the chicken stock was impressive
Cons: Some staff of the front desk not very kind, and the room 1403 has really bad smell, living there for three nights open the air cleaner all the time
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding breakfast, great variety, excellent quality!!
Cons: Very disappointed with the air quality in the room 1635 due to cigarette smoke smell. Our clothing reeked of cigarette smoke! We were asked to vacate the room so that the super air purifier could be operated by the staff in the room for 40 min. The air was okay for a very little while after the machine ran for 40 minutes, however, the strong cigarette smoke smell came back. It was difficult to sleep in the cigarette smelling room. The only way we could tolerate the smell was to put the fan on high and to run the small portable air purifier/humidifier machine constantly. The air quality in room 1406 was better, but your staff said we could not be moved.
6,8 Good
Pros: Was excellent. The buffet was one of the best I’ve eaten at
Cons: The bed was hard. Also the pillows were not comfortable
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was pleasant and the breakfast buffet was superb!! Being close to the train station and shopping were also wonderful. The extra touches in the room were added goodies. I would definitely return to Century Royal Hotel.
6,8 Good
Pros: Location was very convenient, literally attached to Sapporo Station. Breakfast was nice. Room was quite spacious.
Cons: The infamous steps leading to the hotel really are an issue if you have heavy luggage. It is strange cos you go DOWN some steps first then walk a short distance then go UP another flight. What is more inexplicable is that since it leads mainly to the hotel, they could have simply build a ramp on one side so that guests could pull the luggage up? Major complaint for this hotel (although it is applicable to many Japanese hotels, but this one is especially bad), the room ventilation / air con reeks of cigarette smoke smell although it is a non smoking room & floor. It got so bad that i kept waking up in the night because it was smelly and choking. Do not know if other guests are smoking in their rooms when not supposed to or the ventilation is constructed badly or old that cigarette smell ends up in our room. Sorry but this alone will prevent us from staying again despite all the good things.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent with a big choice and the location, right next to the train station and many shops, connected by underground passageways, was perfect.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good old fashion service of the hotel. Good location, can be reach directly from train station, very convenient. Very delicious Japanese style breakfast, must try!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast served and the enthusiasm of the hotel staffs.
Cons: The room is small and some unnecessary items like humidifier were placed in the room.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: -Spacious room, clean and comfy bed. -Location is just next to Sapporo JR train station. -Onsite parking (with parking fee) -Breakfast buffet
Cons: -Electric current power is not strong enough to get my hair iron work. (I’ve tried every plug)
