Hotel room is a bit old but it’s soundproof and so many tools like Microwave/Bowls for you to use. It’s like you live in apartment in Japan. ;)
The location is close to many nightlife place. It’s lively but I don’t feel like it.
Location was perfect! Right in the heart of susukino area which has many good restaurants and walking distance to most of the main tourist areas in the center of sapporo city. Room was big and spacious. Came with very good amenities and facilities (cooking facilities, cleaning, dining table and chair, small study table too with roller chair, etc) and washing machine available for reasonable price. Staff was kind to move us to non-smoking room upon request at check-in.
Toilet could have been slightly bigger. But I suppose most Japanese toilets are this size.
Strategic location, value for money, complete facility.
It was our 3rd stay there, good as always. Clean and staff all friendly&helpful.
On our last night there the big heater failed to work, after a call to the reception a staff came with an additional portable heater/air purifier (there was already one in the room) and an extra blanket. He told us to use both portable heaters. A few minutes later we lost power in the room and after a bit more time a female staff came to reset the switch but also to "warn" us (written on a piece of paper that she gave just before she left) to take care not to let it happen again because at night there wouldn't be anyone to fix it. Now, considering it was deep in winter in sapporo and our heater didn't work and while we were using the portable ones we didn't use ANY other electrical appliances not even the tv, what were we supposed to do? In the end we just used one portable heater and wrap ourselves in the blankets. I know that these things happen, and maybe they were fully booked so moving us to another room wasn't an option, but it was a bit disappointing to be given what felt like a mild scolding for something that wasn't our fault. If only they had bothered to check, they'd realised we called about the problem just minutes ago and what solution was offered. I still like the hotel, though :-)
The room like a studio and have mini kitchen, rice cooker, water boiler and microwave. Suitable for muslim because i bring the halal food from malaysia. And easy for me to cook and heat. Close to the subway station and tran. Walk around 5-7 min
