The staff were excellent to us. Helped us with everything we needed - reheated food for us, gave us tips on further travels, allowed us a shower and late checkout, then the owner was kind enough to drive us to the bus terminal. We couldn't have wished for more!!!
José Miguel is a really nice host, very helpful with the transfers, booking tours etc! He has created an amazing place of tranquility in the otherwise busy town of San Pedro de Atacama. Given that water is a scarce resource here, it’s great to have constant access to it and warm water all the time. The B&B overall is really decent, with spacious rooms and some nice common areas, such as the hammocks.
Wish I could have stayed longer!
Offers cheap transfers to the airport, short walking distance to the city, owner was very helpful on some points.
Organisation was chaotic and questionable. Our room was double booked so that we had to go to a worse room the first day (was not clean compared to the room we reserved and moved to the next day, with hair from previous guests being on the bed) . Also, our room was prepaid but the owner didn't take a note, we had to prove it with a credit card statement. Lastly, we don't like being fooled - the confirmation says toiletries available but the owner said they are still in Santiago? Service means I go to the next supermarket and buy what I promise.
A great place to stay in San Pedro. The owner is lovely - he helped us arrange tours for the next day when we arrived in the evening, allowed us to do late check out as the room wasn't booked the next day, and even gave us a lift to the bus station. It's also a comfortable place to stay, including a good heater which is important as it gets cold in the desert at night.
Location, private parking and breakfast
We visited a few places in the area and this one was the most modest. The price/quality ratio is not worth it. There are more unique and better accommodation facilities in the area. We did not even bother to take pictures as not to have ugly photos among the others. Stinky towels, old, dilapidated facility. Two rooms sharing a bathroom and the property owner kept the other room unlocked, unless to say our room couldn’t be locked, only the whole unit. The main gate was closed and it seemed there must be another entrance to the premises. The only good point was breakfast that improved the score.
