Pros: This is a hidden gem. A beautiful posada, with fantastic rooms and communal areas, decorated with style and care. Warm welcoming owners. Highly recommended.
Cons: Impossible to find. You need to ring or communicate directly with them to find the place, even though the map is correct.

Pros: Gabriela is an amazing host! The room is comfortable and spacious, with an original bathroom. Common areas are well decorated and the garden is perfect to relax. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of home made products.

Sitting just opposite of the 25 de Mayo park, this hotel is at the perfect location where the cityscape mixes with the green nature. Besides the wonderful views of the beautiful landscape of San Juan, guests will be just a 20-minute walk from the city centre. Ranked as the second among the wine-producing provinces of Argentina, the area offers plenty of wineries and all enthusiasts can check with the hotel staff for recommendations for tours or wine tastings. Those who don't have enough time, but still want to try the exquisite wines of the region can visit the popular restaurant of the hotel. There, besides the amazing drinks, they can try mouth-watering regional and international dishes and relax with the fantastic view of the hotel's pool. Afterwards they can head to the aforementioned pool and unwind in its cool, refreshing waters or go to the sun terrace and work on that healthy tan.

Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the middle of town. And it offered parking underneath the hotel, which is great. The bed was very comfortable. And it was great to have a balcony and to be able to leave the door open to the balcony for fresh air. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The WiFi was dismal; it came and went, but even when it had come, the signal strength was minimal. The elevators were iffy; several times, we ended up taking the stairs and the elevators never came. The door to the hallway was very thin, and we could hear everything that was happening in the hallway; fortunately, not too much was going on, but still.

Pros: The Location is very good. Right next to the pedestrian precinct and downtown. Bed was quite comfortable.
Cons: Room was noisy during the day because of activity in the nearby restaurant. Staff offered no information, maps or recommendations, despite the fact we were foreign tourists. Breakfast was very poor.

Pros: I have NEVER given such a bad rating - this hotel deserves even worse!! LIKED NOTHING - unless it was the covered parking (free)?
Cons: The price of the room was re-worked off US$ and ended up being more than the Booking price... it was expensive, very small, outdated and dirty. Asked reception for a map of the city & received a booklet that was water damaged & dated 2012. Breakfast was a disaster!! No glasses for 'juice', no bowls for cereal and we just happened to get a coffee cup & saucer before the other guests arrived to nothing. The breakfast buffet 'attendant' acted as if we were asking for the moon to get a bowl (?) and glass. HORRID selection!

Cons: Our room backed onto the communal area and the TV was loud until very late- I sleep through most noise but if you are a light sleeper maybe ask for a room away from the communal area.

Pros: Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Location might’ve been okay (wasn’t too far from bus terminal) but I was only in San Juan briefly so I didn’t really explore. Kitchen and bathrooms were reasonably clean.
Cons: Staff weren’t helpful. At check in, they showed me my room and that was it. I had to ask where the kitchen and bathrooms were, what the wifi password was and what time breakfast started. In the morning, the lady at reception disappeared so another lady helped me hail a taxi outside.

Cons: The guy at the reception clearly didn't wanted to be there, pretty cold welcoming, he just gave us the key to the room and barely talked to us. (The girl on the other hand was helpfull) The room was the size of closet. Only one shower of 2 worked but the bathroom is in a putty state. Breakfast was poor (noticed a fly in the juice jar, apparently they don't change it cause it stayed there for 3 days in a row). No one was there on the check out, so we left the money in the room and left. This place is clearly not worth the money.

Cons: On top bunk of bunk bed with no ladder access. Ok getting in but in darkness trying not to step on the bottom bunk occupant was tricky!! Internet was hit and miss. Language was an issue as only the owner had a good grasp of English. But he was a a great help in sorting out communication for taxis etc.

Cons: There was only 2 bathrooms (that I was shown) and only 1 bathroom had a lock. Neither toilet had a flush button - you had to pull up part of the mechanism that was exposed in the brickwork! WiFi went down for 2 days, not sure why.
