Misleading pricing. I booked a 4 night stay at Royal Sonesta San Juan through Traveluro. I paid total up front taxes and fees $1252.01. When I arrived at Royal Sonesta was told that they did not receive that entire amount from Traveluro and I need to pay the remainder of fees which was almost $300.

Way overpriced for quality. The only worthwhile feature was the access to the beach with food service. Rooms were worst than the 3 star hotels we stayed at on condado beach. No furniture on balcony to sit outside - small room - only a desk chair to sit on other than bed. Tight rooms and small bathrooms- no shuttle services. Must uber to everything - no good night activities by hotel - poor locatio...

Pros (+) The location is right on the beach, close to the airport. Good views from the ocean facing rooms. We were on the 16th floor and it was great. Lots of restaurants nearby and within the hotel. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. Great housekeeping staff, very friendly and helpful
Cons (-) Sand fleas...a tiny bug that bites like a mosquito/bed bug. They were all over in our room. This was before we had even stepped on the beach, so they were there before we came and stayed with us till the end. We had to apply bug repellent to sleep and not be bitten. No activities by the hotel. They charge a resort fees but it feels more like a traditional hotel rather than a resort. Tiny bathrooms...
