Showers were great and modern, hostel was clean and always something going on. Felt like a true hostel style. I also liked you do small hostel rooms of just 1 bunk bed set.
No issues, my roommate found it noisy due to located on in a room over the main street but I slept through it fine. It is advertised on the back of the bedroom door that bath towels are free, just ask the front desk. When I went down to ask for one the guy behind the desk said it was $1. No biggie if you've got cash, but I didn't and wasnt about to be charged at an ATM to get a dollar for a one time use. Maybe update or remove the signs on the bedroom doors!
Great location right in the middle of night life of SF. Stuff were great and friendly anytime. You could easily connect with other travelers.
Bathrooms could be cleaned more often
Convenient location in Chinatown, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, many activities offered and some of them free. Breast included and later you can always use the kitchen to make free tea or coffee
Carpeted floors, which is why the hostel smells of damp. I think they need to remove those carpets Wooden beds creak a bit, when you climb on the upper bunk.
Uncomfortable beds. Too many in a shared dorm. Extremely loud and obnoxious snorer so couldn't sleep at all.
It was a awesome stay. Its a great place and kitchen, food facilities were excellent
