Cons: Would have given 10 out of ten but for dinner on the last night, Sunday 1st September. Having booked a table for 2 at 7.15 we arrived promptly only to sit for 40 minutes before anyone cane near. Eventually I had to call for service and request a drink. There were plenty of staff but all seemed to be running round like headless chickens. There did not appear anyone was in charge. Certainly no maitre D. Food when it came was OK but being artistic seemed to be more important than good wholesome food. Although it was a Sunday, I do not accept that as an excuse.

Cons: A minor point but at breakfast although tables were cleared fairly quickly where guests had made a mess on the floor this was left which meant you had to walk through it, which we decided not to do. It would have been better if this had been cleared up.

Cons: The price for a so called „Grand Large“ double room of 31sqm and seaside view is extremely high. Especially because the room was much smaller than 31sqm. Servive was just so so. We stayed 5 nights and had to ask 3 days to refill the Nespresso capsules one time no fresh towels and in general the hotel staff was not really caring. In general for me this was all in all far below what I am expecting and already got from a five star hotel. We will come back to Saint-Malo, but not again to that hotel.

Pros: The hotel is well placed opposite the beach, with an easy stroll into the walled town of St Malo, or a stroll along the Sillon, beside the wide beach, and sometimes the crashing waves. There are good restaurants in St Malo town or a short walk away in the direction of Parame. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and very clean, with a good view of the beach.

Pros: The hotel is well placed opposite the beach, with an easy stroll into the walled town of St Malo, or a stroll along the Sillon, beside the wide beach, and sometimes the crashing waves. There are good restaurants in St Malo town or a short walk away in the direction of Parame. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and very clean, with a good view of the beach.

Pros: location. Apartment is new.
Cons: The actual apartment looks smaller than in their photos. There was a cleaning fee to be charged if you don't take out your bed sheets and vacuum the place before you check out. It is the most unreasonable rules I ever heard from a hotel or even a b&b apartment, and they claim they are hotel apartments but has absolutely no service at all. It is reasonable to ask to take out the trash, but even if you pay for the cleaning fee, which we did, you still have to take out the trash to the bin outside the walls of the city by yourself. No trash bin at their building. There were other trash bins that belongs to the restaurants downstairs in the car park but you are not allow to put your trash in their bins. No elevator, if you don't travel light, beaware! Nobody cares to help you with your luggages. I have requested for lower floor in advance, told them that my dad has a heart issue so it will be a problem to carry our luggages up to higher floor, though my mom and I, two ladies could move them up slowly but is still an issue. When we arrived they just said we are arranged to be on the 3RD floor, and they won't offer help even I asked. Can't compare with hotels but Worse than staying in private B&B, you are on your own. limited parking space and is not easy to park into their parking even there is space. Better stay in their hotel side with elevator or stay in another proper hotel.

Cons: The very worst thing , I won’t go back was the smell of smoke pervaded the whole place . We were on the second floor and all the landing and inside the bedroom smelled . This was a non smoking hotel . However smoking is allowed in the conservatory like rooms at the front and of course outside at the tables and by the entrance door . Smoke , smoke , smoke got in everywhere , this was a shame because otherwise it was a very pleasant place to stay .

As we cannot walk far,a little helpful advise would have been good as it was October and out of season,and to go looking for somewhere for a light meal was difficult. As we had used the restaurant for lunch we only needed bar snacks. Using the parking is difficult as door needs opening by receptionist and very narrow entry road so nowhere to wait.

Good varied continental breakfast, starting at 6am, meaning no rush in the morning to get to the ferry. Loved the bright colours and modern furnishings. Free Wi-fi worked well. NB Recommend the O De Mer restaurant for dinner.

Cons: Room around the toilet was limited. People of larger dimensions than us would have struggled to sit on it! Some USB charger points would be good, which are becoming common in hotels, particularly in modern chains (like Ibis is).

Cons: There is no air conditioning, the hotel is beside restaurant and pubs, and there was strong smell of fried food at all hours. we needed to leave the window open because it was stuffy in the tiny room, which made for a super noise stay - again, the room was beside a pub and a busy street. Narrow stairs for one person only, and tiny elevator were not helpful. There was only one bath towel and one mat. We needed to request extra towel for my partner, and the towels were stained.

Cons: In a very busy intersection throughout the day and night, makes it impossible to sleep! No discount is worth it... There are no rooms facing the back so there are no alternatives! The staff were very distant and cold, there is no loby to speak of so there is no place to sit and work where there is wifi, ( no wifi in the rooms) unless you sit in the restaurant, which is not very popular... We left after 2 days even though we paid for 6 because it was awful.
