Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests overwhelmingly praise the hotel's unique atmosphere and excellent location on the river, especially its proximity to Old Sacramento, museums, and the ballpark. Many enjoy the historic charm of staying on a paddlewheel boat and the authenticity of the experience. However, several guests find the rooms to be quite small and some mention noise issues, particularly with rooms near the lobby or street. Service receives mixed feedback, with some staff being accommodating and others less so. Accessibility and ventilation are also noted concerns for a few guests.AI-generated from customer reviews

Pros (+) Check in was efficient and the location is right in the middle of old town Sacramento. Very conveniently located to shops, dining, the new Golden 1 Center. The music at the bar was nice and seemed like a nice place to have dinner. We stayed one night to meet up with family and friends for a Kings basketball game.
Cons (-) As expected for a river boat, the rooms are small, and I would recommend a river view room. The sound from adjacent rooms, overhead and hallway is significant which does impact your sense of privacy. The radio didn't work and only had a CD player, no mp3 or phone connectivity. Overall, our one night stay was pleasant.
