There are not many things we do not like about Whitney Peak...except that we haven't had an upgrade yet this BB season! Wonderful place, friendly people, nice restaurant right there. Appreciate the fresh clean water bottle filler in the foyer of each floor. Ah, my hubby wishes there was a microwave in the rooms.
This hotel is clean and family friendly even to include fur babies. Our second stay and everyone continues to be professional and friendly.
Valet was helpful. The maintenance employee we encountered in the elevator was friendly.
Front desk staff was unpleasant. The pictures were so deceiving. The rock climbing and gym area barely had lighting and it was nothing like the pictures. The server in the restaurant was horrible and when we ask to make our drinks hot she was so rude.
Bathroom was dirty
Size of the concierge room; easy access to on-site rock climbing, dining and entertainment; staff was great and ability to text for assistance “with anything” is a nice touch.
Parking options- $15/day for valet even with unlimited in/out. $5 self-park (per park) is a block up and over from the entrance, which is a bit of a walk when you’re managing luggage, so it feels like they are trying to push you to do the valet... Concierge lounge 1522 is a great room with awesome views on one of the high floors, but quality of “breakfast” and “ hors d’oeuvres” provided don’t justify the higher pricing for the features; walls are thin—A party going on in the room across the hall (which the Front desk responded to after 20 minutes), a dog yipping constantly andvv BBC someone scrubbing the carpet in the hall after midnight i’ll be heard with great clarity.
