Pros: I liked everything, my room was at the top of the building and was beautifully converted. It was full of character, a mix of modern for convenience and old hand painted chests. The breakfasts were lovely and plenty of variety. It was well situated for the historic centre and great restaurants.

Pros: This property is absolutely beautiful with its art, rugs & overflowing bookcases. It's like staying in someone's well-curated home. There are a lot of stairs to reach the very top but there are landings with lounges to sit comfortably & rest or to peruse the plentiful art books on a quiet afternoon. The furniture is gorgeous. I had a chaise lounge & velvet covered chairs in my attic room & there were big wooden beams in my sloping ceiling - do watch your head though. There was also a writing desk with books to read on it. My bathroom had a large shower & provided lovely toiletries. The air conditioning works well & there are external shutters to block the light & heat. The dining room has a coffee machine & a drinks fridge is provided to have a complimentary drink in the afternoon/evening. Breakfast is a good selection of cereals, juices, pastries & cold ham & cheese. There is also a toaster & fresh bread & lots of condiments. Coffees are made by staff in the kitchen at breakfast time & once they realised I was a tea drinker, a teapot of hot water & milk appeared for me each morning, without asking. Bliss.

Some places to park in the hotel's backyard are available, if you're lucky. If not, public parkings are not so far.

Pros: Typical Italian breakfast, nothing to complain about there, room was pleasant and personnel very nice, some spoke English. There is a good local Italian restaurant around the corner, which is nice if you come in late and don't want to wander off in search of one.

Pros: One of the reception staff was very helpful and polite, the other not so. The car park at the front was helpful and we found a space no problem. The communication with the staff prior to our stay was very good and prompt.
Cons: We were hardly given any information when we checked in and the interaction from the receptionist was very minimal. The breakfast was very basic. The room did not resemble that of the ones on the website, and was in need of an upgrade. We didn't like the location of the hotel as we had to walk a fair distance into the town. The underpass by the station closed at 9.30 adding an additional 15 mins onto our walk back from Town. There is not a lot to do around about the hotel.

Cons: It’s on the other side of the tracks (physically) so you have to be able to walk at least a kilometer to any place you want to go! Plus, it’s surrounded by an expressway so it feels dangerous walking there.

Pros: The rooms were very clean and unlike the reviews they were clean and everything was working great! The bed was comfortable, ac worked well, mini fridge worked great, cute decor even if not super modern, bathroom seemed remodeled. Reception was super sweet and helpful. Breakfast was included and had the regular suspects in Europe like yogurt and pastries. The location is great, esp for exploring the hipster area around the corner along the canal.

Cons: We got a room that I think is equipped for people with disabilities - the shower was just a shower head in the bathroom with no curtain or any structure to hold the water from flowing everywhere. It made it difficult for us to use the bathroom after shower as the floor was wet and there wasn't anything to dry it with. I assume it was just our luck and not all the rooms are like that.

Cons: Smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway and in the room. The sink was draining very slow, was also dripping underneath, we put the garbage bin there to collect the water. We were tired and only staying for the night and we decided not to notify the staff until the next morning when we did the checkout.
