Stunning location, lovely Italian charm all over. Very romantic. Al staff were very friendly. We got married here 5 years ago and coming back didn’t disappoint.
Air conditioning very poor! Service was slow and the restaurant no where near Michelin star standard. Little things like no coffee machine in bedroom, no iron etc are quite poor.
The tranquil setting is second to none. If only someone would pay me to write a book over the summer here! The gardens were so beautifully scented, the views amazing and the building itself stunning.
When we were first arrived and were shown our ‘classic’ room for over 500 euros, we were disappointed- this room is definitely not value for money. We upgraded to a room that cost 850. A staggering amount but if were to stay here, we wanted the views and the sun terrace was beautiful.
The view was spectacular. It was very calm. The pool was beautiful and the gardens were amazing. We will definitely be back
It would have been nice to have transport to the tunnel on the way home. We had showered before leaving and by the time we reached the tunnel to meet our taxi we were extremely hot and sweaty. I would also like a proper hair dryer and a magnifying mirror for the bathroom. When you wear glasses it is not easy to see in a normal mirror.
Bar service was excellent! Concierge service was excellent!
Poor pool service.
Heaven on earth. Most beautiful hotel imaginable. Service and food excellent. Pool amazing. And there’s a little tiny bar/gelato stand down at the end that no one tells you about. Make sure to look for it or ask about it. The rooms are small and not exactly the most practical but it’s part of the charm. Our floor had the most amazing terrace (with an incredible view) that no one else was using so we had a lot of lunches out there - If you ask they will bring you room service out there and set up the table. It was lovely and romantic and we could see all our friends down at the pool.
Nothing to dislike. It’s perfect. Just make sure to call ahead before you arrive to have the porter meet you down by the main piazza to take your luggage because no one cars can get into the main part of Ravello and it’s a bit of a trek to get up the hotel. If you call even 30 mins ahead they will meet you at your taxi and take everything and then show you the way up.
