Pros: Great food, great staff, great location and and great service 10/10. Definitely booking Hilton for my next stay in Malta.
4,2 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: We didn’t receive room we requested I’ve stayed in hotels worldwide and have to say that your hotel was extremely unhygienic and unkept, mouldy bathrooms, hair on the shower walls No complimentary shavers or tooth brushes. “Sea view room” turned into building and old air conditioner view room. Cats around the pool and dinning area. Long wait for service and staff quite abrupt. Extremely long wait for a service around the pool, food served without cutleries or napkins. The chef making the eggs in the dining room was excellent though I rate this Hilton as a maximum 3 star at best, extremely disappointing given this meant to be our babymoon holiday...while we had to curry our own bags as no help offered from the staff.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Facilities
Cons: We thought the hotel food was very average and not to 5 star standard, especially considering the price. There was much better food available from local restaurants. The bar food on the terrace was particularly poor quality. Salsa out of a jar rather than fresh for example. Cheap bake-off pastries rather than quality artisan bakery. Breakfast was decent The coffee was not the best. Considering you claim to be 5 stars, i was surprised that we were served coffee in paper cups around the pool, rather than china cup and saucer.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The signage is a bit confusing in particular when you go from the old part of the hotel to gym and other facilities. New to be more visible, simple and clear,
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean hotel with pleasant staff.
Cons: Sauna and pool area overcrowded and people are uneducated in rules of using sauna - no guard no rules...people wearing shoes inside, Kids screaming, people talking loud ...some guidance could be required.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything! Our stay was perfect (except one small incident), and very reasonable for the quality of the hotel and services. Our room was spacious, clean, with a nice view of the marina. Overall I would highly recommend.
Cons: In the Quarterdeck bar, we were very unhappy with one incident. We looked at the specialty gin menu, and decided to order one each. We put the menu down, then the waitress came over and took our order. When we went to pay, we were charged a much higher rate. When I complained, I was told that unless the customer specifically says they are ordering from the special gin menu, they are charged the usual rate for a double gin with a tonic mixer. This adds up to be much more expensive. I asked about the ingredients, and the amounts of gin and tonic are identical. The only difference is the glass it's served in and the garnish. There was no offer to change the price, although I was asked if there was anything else we wanted. This is very, very bad practice. It's clear the staff are told to ring in the order this way unless instructed specifically otherwise. A poor way to make a few more euros, in an otherwise exceptional hotel where staff go out of their way to please. I'm not sure why any customer would choose to pay more for the same drink, so why not just charge the lower price, or at least ask the customer for clarification?

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great customer care. Most comfortable bed. Very clean. Breakfast buffet has lots of variety to suit all kinds of taste & dietary requirements. In fact, we were attending an evening function at a nearby 5 star hotel so decided to book Westin Dragonara Resort for the night to relax afterwards because we have stayed at Westin Dragonara Resort for weekends many times over the past years & have always been very well looked after by the wonderful staff. Thank you.
Cons: Like everything about this hotel, location, staff, facilities, food...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities, private beach, staff, and food
Cons: The hot tub is not designed well. After every shower, the bathroom is flooded. But still we had a wonderful time at Westin and Malta.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Room was very comfortable and staff is very attentive and kind. Views are amazing.
Cons: Food in the Reef Club was disappointing in taste and presentation, not up to the level expected from a 5 stars. Careful if booking a "taxi" from reception, they use a premium service that is a lot more expensive than the regular cabs.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: The hotel is beautiful. Excellent location. 2 great pools and private beaches. Very nice and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms. Great breakfast. Would love to stay there again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best breakfast I’ve ever had at a restaurant. They offer almost everything for breakfast. Staff is excellent and very professional.
Cons: Hours didn’t work well. Most things outside for kids close by 1700-1800. Check-in time is at 1500 so only gives you a few hours to enjoy some of the accommodations. They have construction going on in front of the pool outside.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: +nice and friendly service +good to relaxe +good breakfast
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazing
Cons: Nothing to complain , but the guests should be given free parking
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. I mean- it’s Radisson. I’ve tried several hotels in Malta and Radisson is the best. There are not so many sandy beaches in Malta, but this hotel has an access to Golden bay beach. The food, spa, staff - everything was great! I would have loved to extend my stay but the hotel was fully booked, which is no wonder at all :)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The views from the sea view rooms are absolutely fabulous. The beds are also very comfortable.
Cons: The health centre is better than it was (it's been refurbished) but is still only 'good', not great. It would have been nice if the shower in the room was a rain shower rather than a normal shower head but that is just nitpicking.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful breakfast buffet; pool area beautiful; great and convenient beach; very clean facility; great, friendly staff
Cons: Dinners were average.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We got an upgrade to a seaview suite with a giant balcony facing the sea, simply amazing. The pool area is super. Breakfast choices are great, with outdoor seating possible. Parking is easy directly at the hotel and only at 3€/day.
Cons: Despite being in a suite, there was no complimentary water provided on the room. The number of electric chargers in the suite was limited and you‘ll definitely need an adapter (which you can rent at the reception).

Pros: Loved the pool. Room was very nice but will ask for a larger room next time.
7,5 Good
Pros: location & helpfulness of staff
Cons: construction/renovation starting each day at 8am - I was on holiday, and expected a lie in
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff (especially Manwel on the front desk). Nice breakfast with a big range of foods and drinks. Big, modern and clean room and bathroom. Absolutely recommend the Spa Royale.
7,5 Good
Pros: Rooftop pool overlooking bay
Cons: Next to McDonalds Room had no view whatsoever
7,9 Good
Pros: The location was really good. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was awesome. The views by the pool were great! And the service at the pool too. Wifi connection was very good eveywhere in the hotel.
Cons: The was working construction in the hotel and nobody told us when we booked the room. If we have known that we would change the hotel. Even by the pool there was workers around all day and noise. It wasn't very comfortable to be around the pool chilling as there were workers and noise around. Even in the room you can hear the noise very early in the morning every day. When we checked out we told the girld in the reception but she told us she could not do anything about it.
7,9 Good
Pros: Very nice suite, comfy bed and beautiful view! Staff very friendly, however had some problems when checking in. Good location in St Julian.
Cons: The fact that the Hotel still is under construction, so workers could start rather early in the Morning. If I would have stayed there for a holiday that would have been rather annoying. Workers occupying the elevators and the safety stairs also a bit odd..
7,9 Good
Pros: Lovely building. Great room very comfortable. The building location and rooms are excellent
Cons: Service issues with checkin process. Chaotic breakfast service on first morning. Very poor non existent bar/cafe service. Just basically ignored. No feedback on my comments from management. Staff need training. “Boutique” and “luxury” are terms that come with the provision of great service and cannot just be “invented” to suit a marketing message.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic ethos and attitude
Cons: Everything was perfect

Pros: Loaction excellent, bed very comfortable, plenty of choice of pools
Cons: Breakfast restaurant was too crammed in, tables too close, only 2 coffee machines so queues 4 deep at busy times

Pros: Fantastic hotel, great facilities, breakfast was superb. Free shuttle to Valetta was a bonus. Hop on hop off bus directly outside

Pros: Loved everything about this hotel. We had a wonderful stay with them. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. It was lovely to get up graded to the executive package which included fantastic breakfast an happy hour from 6 -9pm night that everything you can think of free of charge! It's well worth adding this to your room. The staff are excellent. Jeanine on the front desk was just lovely. Very helpful and always had a beautiful smile to go with it. Also thank you for the late check out! We will definitely be coming back. This is one of the nicest places I've stayed.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Had a lovely stay at the resort. Rooms clean and tidy. Concierge and guest relations amazingly helpful. Only niggles we had were minor and involved housekeeping not always ‘stocking’ the room. Would go back and would recommend to friends.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Pools were clean, access to the sea from rocks was good. Some nice restaurants attached to the hotel. Great shuttle service to Valletta
Cons: The daily cleaning of the bedroom was irregular. Virtually everyday there was something missing, towels, bath mat, toilet paper, tissues, sheets. The room was very dated, needed a bloody good clean, dusty behind chairs and under tables, tiling to walls and floor needed a good scrub in the grout. Shower over bath (which is not 5*) is dated, there was no seal to the shower panel so water leaked over the floor. The breakfast in the main restaurant didn’t have the live egg station as stated, setting up of the tables was poor, always something missing, cups and saucers, teaspoons etc. The fried eggs were like rubber bullets every day, bacon dry and overcooked and the omelettes were rubbery. Two of the restaurants were closed completely, there’s nothing to say they are seasonal. The Oasis Bar seemed to open and closed when they fancied, as it’s the only outside bar if it was closed then you had to sit in the lobby, along with business men/women conducting meetings. Speed of service in both Oasis and lobby bars was very slow. Whilst we did have some heavy rain, thunderstorms and extremely windy for a couple of days. The outside areas were not swept clean very quickly after the weather cleared on each day with leaves and debris strewn over steps and paths. The pool towels were never available first thing in the morning, dirty towels not collected intermittently throughout the day, just a massive over flowing pile left outside the spa’s main entrance. Room service was very slow and it was obvious that the food came from different restaurants around the hotel rather than cooked in the main kitchen. This meant it was either dry, soggy or just warm. Overall, given that this is a 5* hotel, part of the Corinthian Group, which highlighted their London hotel in TV all based on service and excellence we were very disappointed.
6,0 Good
Pros: The room was a decent size room and clean, there was a nice pool area with a separate adults pool as well as 2 large family pools and access to the sea. The restaurants and pub shared by this hotel and it's sister hotel next door were pretty decent and accommodated all tastes.
Cons: The en suite bathroom was small and in need of refurbishment - applying ever thickening bands of silicone sealant around the bath and sink to hide the older seal doesn't really count. The breakfast room was too small for the size of the hotel which resulted in regular queuing. The food in the restaurants and the pool side snack bar was very expensive - burger & chips €20. The area nearby (Paceville) was a bit seedy with numerous "gentlemans' clubs".

Pros: Pool, breakfast, friendly staff, Very clean Pool bar Cocktail
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: There is a parking place near the hotel (but it's for payment).
Cons: My wife and I were staying at this hotel from the 19-th of September till the 21-st of September. The only strict condition for us was a good sea-view. We booked the room with a sea-view and paid for it (380 euro for 2 nights) some months in advance. When we came to the hotel, we saw that it was a room with a parking view. Unfortunately, the staff were hopeless and could not help. The only alternative was to change this room into another one in a hall under repair where the smell of whitening was awful. We could not live there. Well, as an excuse the staff gave us an opportunity to have half-board instead of breakfast only. It was not the solution of our problem, but we agreed. The surprise was when some dishes in the restaurant were spoilt. Besides, it was necessary to make efforts to find tableware. The next disappointment was when we started to use bathroom. There was no chance to take shower without flooding the whole bathroom. That’s why we took shower very fast not to spend time for drying the floor. We should add, the condition of the room was poor as well. Nights at the hotel were sleepless because of noise outside (karaoke bar with really bad singers). It is evident that this hotel was not able to answer basic requirements such as food, taking shower, sleeping at night. Beds were awful, like I was sleeping on the ground. TV was impossible to turn off using remote control, it was necessary to get up and switch it off manually. To sum up, our two days at this hotel were a real torture because of a whole number of reasons: parking-view instead of sea-view, bad condition of our room, poorly thought-out system of bathroom, poor quality of some dishes, loud music at night. There are some photos to prove our complaints.
3,7 Mediocre
Pros: Locations was good. Close to bus station. The breakfast buffet was pretty good.
Cons: They gave us a horrible room with a useless shower. I complained, then they upgraded us two twin beds. It was like night and day. They never replenished any of the consumables. I would recommend a better hotel. This is more like a three star hotel.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room - huge! Lovely view over the bay and loved the private beach area. Had a fabulous meal in the Carvv Restaurant
Cons: Breakfast - because the hotel is so big, it felt a bit like a canteen
5,0 Okay
Pros: Hotel cleaners vert friendly and nice People. They make you feel very welcomed, workers at reception are not welcoming and very straight faced.
Cons: Originally gave us the wrong room, not the deluxe double I booked online
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was nice. Cocktail bar overlooking sea was fabulous.
Cons: We were 6 people celebrating special birthdays and only one had a sea view room. One set of friends got to there room only to find it had someone's belongings in there. They were moved to another floor. The special requests of rooms together with sea view were not taken into consideration after numerous requests. We enjoyed our stay but a shame that the little extras were ignored.

Cons: Nothing outside close to hotel

Pros: Room was very comfortable
Cons: Far too busy and a resort with nowhere to go
6,7 Good
Pros: Front desk super. Staff very friendly. Location pretty nice.
Cons: Bed was very very NOT conformable => My back still hearts form last week. The quality of the food from some restaurants ( If you book in the first day the "a la cart" restaurant you cannot eat the rest of the meat from the other restaurants ) The pool water is freezing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice pools and restaurants, good activities available. Good links to tourist sites and close to the beach and Gozo ferry.
Cons: Hotel didn't have our room available for our first night, so we were transferred to the sister hotel for one night. After that our stay was positive. Also needs some insect repellent around the pool area as flies were a constant menace, but I suspect that is a problem all round Malta during the summer...
7,9 Good
Pros: Excellent range of good quality food, very well prepared and presented. Drinks included, very nice rose' wine. Very big and comfy bed. good wi-fi. nice lighting in the room, full-size mirror, several handy power points, also by bedside tables. Lovely and spacious terrace with lounges, table and chairs.
Cons: Too many loud children in common areas. Swimming pool water too cold. wardrobe was a bit on the small size for a superior room (although with lots of hangers!). Our room was on the top floor and facing the sea: very nice! But also a pretty busy main road and the traffic noise was not nice and it covered any other "natural sounds"like sea and birds, also at night (we like to keep windows open). No partitions on terrace so no privacy from next-door rooms -left and right.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The beachfront location Mountains of differing food options, all of which were very tasty. Rather well priced & good value in my opinion Polite, friendly, attentive staff Whole place seemed squeaky clean Incredible views across the island Availability of tours on-site was excellent, with most seemingly discounted Plenty of different bars & restaurants to try The live sport in the bar was nice
Cons: A few select items aren't included in the all inclusive package Mini bar wasn't topped up with water Bath/shower tap is confusing with no instructions Balcony door was rather heavy
5,0 Okay
Pros: Food was good everything was clean
Cons: I was away with my children and 10 month grandson the pools for babies was so cold and no umbrellas for them also there was no little parks , the rooms were very hot NO AIRCON in the rooms at all so happy to be home
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We have been to the Seabank 3 times in the last 16 months following our honeymoon there 5 years ago. We have always enjoyed staying at the Seabank thanks to the very friendly and professional staff. The facilities have improved over the years with the addition of a swim up bar. We have stayed in quite a few different rooms from the basic to the large superior room with a terrace overlooking the sea, all of which are clean and spacious. We know quite a few member of staff by name now and its great to see that they recognise us when we go back each time now. The location of the Seabank is perfect to be able to get out to see the island and explore all that Malta has to offer. The huge beach is just across the road and the ferry port to Gozo is just over the hill. Overall, what an amazing place. It holds a special place in our hearts and we will always come back to stay.
Cons: Locals tend to take over when they arrive and are not too keen on adhering to the rules ie. no drinks in the indoor pool and no kids in the jacuzzi.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely an amazing hotel and the best staff you can wish for. Kind people doing their job from their hearts. I’m vegan and they did special dishes just for me, what more can a person want - a personalized experience. Pools are lovely to swim in and there is plenty of entertainment. Would recommend to everyone and would define stay there again

Pros: A great location with sea views and close to good restaurants in the immediate location. The hotel is spacious with many different areas, bars and restaurants. All of which served a good choice of food and drink and good value for the quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay!
Cons: The bathroom shower pressure is very low and if you are used to a power shower you could be disappointed. The bathroom in general was a bit tired, albeit a very nice design. This was possibly due to a lack of extraction causing paint and the wooden door to wear.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Loved the room and the breakfast . The bathroom was clean but the extractor fan didn’t work and doesn’t appear to have done so for some time as the mirror has started to flake . The location was fine and there were plenty of eating establishments nearby . Also liked the times of the “happy hour”
6,7 Good
Pros: The smart TV, but was rather small, should have been twice the size.
Cons: Needs refurbishment, was ok, but for the price I was a little disappointed.

Cons: Food menu was horrible and they tried to charge me for mini bar items upon check-out. I didn't even know there was a mini bar. .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent in the bar. The staff were very friendly and always very helpful. Pool and spa area were lovely and very relaxing. The edge pool was amazing how it over looked the ocean. The views from the hotel were spectacular. Rooms were exceptionally clean and very big perfect for relaxing.
Cons: Breakfast was overpriced. Drinks were a little pricey.

Pros: Nice room, good size, great breakfast buffet, nice view of the sea, nice and quiet.
Cons: There aren't any good beaches nearby, the bus service near the hotel was erratic, we couldn't get a bus back to the stop near the hotel, the only option was to walk back. taxis were expensive.

Pros: Food and Drink package was good. Great for families with kids. Pool area was lovely.
Cons: Rooms were nothing fancy and very basic
7,1 Good
Pros: The location was great, 3 min away walking to Bugibba Bus station with connection to the whole island and the TD3 bus to the airport. We stayed a week and each day we visited other areas of the insland by bus. You can get travel cards at local shops or at the bus station. The food was delicious and varied in the main buffet restaurant. There were lots of options, fresh fruit and vegetables and lots of deserts. We only had one dinner at Tagine restaurant which was good but mostly curry based meals. (there are few other restaurants on site but you need yo get a reservation early to try them) All in all, as we were mostly visiting other parts of Malta each day we did not spend much time relaxing in the hotel. It was ok for eating and sleeping but not much else.
Cons: Overall a very big hotel with all inclusive options but not at 4 star level. Construction seems old but I think it's only from 2015. Also seems it is more targeted to seniors rather then couples or young families. The pools were very small, not that great quality and the beds were cheap plastic very close placed together. For us, as we did not do much relaxing at the hotel it did not make such a big difference. The decor of the hotel and finishes in the rooms are more like 2-3 star level. Very weird layout of the rooms, not very much light, no slippers, bathrobe, no shampoo, conditioner or shower gel, just tubs of all purpose soap. We bought our own for the stay. We slept well as the bed was big and comfortable but in stead of a comforter there were a sheet with 2 thing wool blankets on top. Unfortunately we could not sleep with the balcony door open as it was very noisy outside. Unfortunately the worst experience was being woken up in the middle of the night by a false fire alarm which made our adrenalin levels sky rocket as we were sound asleep. This happened 3 times in a row, at very high level in every room of the hotel. No apology received from the hotel or any complimentary gift.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent food. Animation in the evening was fabulous
Cons: Minor issue: with disabled persons there is no possibility to go in the jaccuzzi
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The adult only level on floor 10 was amazing. Quiet, relaxed and classy, the total opposite of the downstairs area.
Cons: The swimming pool area was totally overcrowded, far too many guests for the size of the pool.
8,8 Excellent
Cons: No outside areas were smoke free, so couldn't sunbathe or have a drink in the evening without a smoker turning up next to you.

Pros: Relatively inexpensive cost for room, location is close to public bus stops and restaurants / cafes (the restaurant Al Ponte attached to hotel was excellent), and I had a great experience at the bar (very friendly bartender) and spa (great massage!)
Cons: I had ants all over my floor and throughout the entire bathroom upon check-in, the room smelled like sewage, the air quality was stale and the room was humid, the towels were very thin and worn, and although the complimentary breakfast had many options and the food was okay, the quality of the juice and coffee was very poor.
7,1 Good
Pros: Food was good and location and facilities as well
Cons: Mattress was too hard and cleanliness of room could have been a bit better especially sheets and cushions
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and buses depart every 10-15 minutes from the busstop just outside of the hotel. Comfy beds and nice pools.
Cons: Staff at the reception could be more friendly.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The spa facilities, pool and view were so nice.
Cons: It was a little bit far from the beach and the hotel shuttle was not running
7,5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was rich, although they use the V sign to mark vegetarian dishes inconsistently. The same sigh means vegan in the roof restaurant so be careful. The sauna was nice.
Cons: The swimming in the garden was for children but was 1.8m deep! The swimming pool on the roof was only 1.2m but children were not allowed. We didn’t enjoy the pool. There were also many flies. Looks like the hotel didn’t treat this issue. The mattress was old had even worse uneven topper.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Extensive hot and cold buffet also catering for allergies
Cons: Poor wifi connection in room
6,7 Good
Pros: The area the hotel is in, lovely and quiet. Nice restaurants around. The bus right outside the hotel, are really easy to use and dont cost that much. Only thing is they can be really busy. Definitely have a massage or treatment at the spa, good value for money and amazing massage (therapist myself).
Cons: Some of the staff where more helpful that others. Didnt realise they only change money in the morning, which didnt really help us when needing more euros for dinner. I think needs to be a bus all year around for the beach as it is quite a walk back up the hill, which some people wouldn't be able to do. Hotel restaurant and drinks expensive, €1.50 for small bottle of water !! We went to supermarket across the road and got double the size for €1 !! Lots of people where doing this.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely pools and going out of season its great to have a warm indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna! Welcome wine on arrival. See view and sometimes heard the church bells
Cons: Car park was scarily narrow. Only attempt it if you have the SMALLEST of cars. Would highly recommend parking on the street if you can down the road with the Pizza restaurant Al Ponte (free parking, but make sure its within the white lines).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, with a bus stop right outside the hotel is a good base to explore the island. Good choice at breakfast and nice garden terrace where you can eat. The rooftop has a great pool and bar and stunning views. The beach is about 20 mins walk downhill good opportunity to walk off breakfast and a nice bar on the way back up the hill. Receptionist are very helpful and the rooms are modern and clean.
7,9 Good
Pros: Good location and finding hotel was easy - It is clean, tidy and comfortable. Hotel staff are very helpful and quick to answer questions. Rooms are spacious, clean with comfortable beds and good Wi-Fi coverage. Good choice of buffer style breakfast / diner (multiple choices to carter for most needs). Plenty of grocery shops nearby and main bus stop outside gets you everywhere you need to go in Malta. There is also a scuba diving shop 2 minutes walk away.
Cons: View from my room with a balcony was very disappointing and did not meet expectations. The view was facing a wall / another house across street. Rooms with a garden view are not that great either! Don't expect much unless paying premium.

7,7 Good
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: Hotel is very big and making your way to the lobby from your room can take a while.
6,5 Good
Pros: As someone who likes to hop around hotels I ended up staying here for a night. The adjacent hotel, that guest have access to, has a very nice pool area and the staff at both hotels are very accommodating.
Cons: As someone that jumped around a lot of hotels in St Julian's I can assure you this is not the one that you will get the most bang for your buck. It is old, the exterior and interior need to be redone and the pool area for the hotel is ok at best, having a tiny pool, smaller than typical ones in your backyard. If the price is similar stay at the Radisson or if you don't need a resort stay at the Argento.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Great - helpful service
Cons: More in room information about the gym - difficult to find.
6,7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fine, staff were fine, good view.
Cons: The hotel was noisey and overpriced. The rooms were very basic.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: A nice welcome gift of wine and romantic decorations for our special occasion. Location and views were great and the room large and comfortable.
Cons: Our room was below the breakfast restaurant and there is very little sound proofing so we were woken by staff and guests sliding chairs around on the hard floor upstairs from 7 or earlier right through the morning.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the view from the room and the location of the hotel.
Cons: Housekeeping was dragging furniture at 6.30am. Despite that the guys did a great job cleaning our room every day.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great views and lots of pools to relax around
Cons: Plenty of eating/drinking options Loads of pools Really nice rooms
7,9 Good
Pros: The location was very good, the staff was amazing! So so friendly. Our requests were immediately taken care of. I lost my apple EarPods the receptionist helped me try and find them. So kind of her to take time to help. They were found by the staff and returned to me the next day. Sandra (at the tour desk) made sure we were picked up by the driver after accidentally getting off at the wrong destination. She even called to make sure he had followed through. Malta was amazing. Thanks!!!
Cons: The room was a bit smelly, but we were told by a nice Australiaian man named Stuart that owns a store in Valletta that it has to do with the humidity in Malta. We bought great smelling wax soups that took care of that from his store.

5,8 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the pool area.
Cons: The room was definitely not 4 star. We were put in a room with a carpet that smelt as soon as you opened the bedroom door even though I had booked a superior room. The staff didn't ask on check out if we enjoyed our stay which I think is essential for good customer service. There is renovation going on in the hotel so there was no bar as advertised and the lobby looks quite messy with paint etc because of this.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Although no view, there were great restaurants nearby. Close to ROSS bus stop
7,1 Good
Pros: Lovely big room (Junior suite) with small balcony. Majority of staff were very friendly. Complimentary bottle of wine on our arrival was a nice touch. Comfortable beds, and good housekeeping staff kept room very clean. Wide selection at breakfast. Lovely rooftop pool with plenty beds.
Cons: There was a lot of building work going on around the hotel during our stay. Also, there appeared to be work being done on hotel itself. For our first few nights there was no bar open in the lobby, also, every time we were up at rooftop pool- the bar for refreshments there was also closed. We were woken at 07.45 one morning by VERY noisy work being done in the room directly below us, which continued the majority of the day. We had received no notification that the work would be taking place, nor an apology from staff when we asked about it. There was no fan/extractor in the bathrooms.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Very good location with easy access to other cities and areas. Beautiful view from the rooftop pool.
Cons: Room in the photos looked much nicer than it actually was. It was definitely not value for money and what we expected to receive. In reality, it was average standard room with average design and comfort. Also breakfast was just average with terrible coffee, cold pancakes and standard selection of other food.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was in a good location and really quiet! Staff were friendly and breakfast was really good.
Cons: The fitness centre left alot to be desired. Very small with no air con and very minimal training options. The bathroom didnt have alot of space for make up etc. As the bedroom didnt have a mirror over the table, and bad lighting meant we had to get ready in the bathroom but there wasnt alot of surface space.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location was great. Beds were super comfy and staff were helpful. Pool was nice and never too busy. Room was cleaned very through every day and was spacious.
Cons: The bar and lounge are was being done up. There was nowhere to relax in the evening. I was not aware of this before we went. I wouldn't recommend ordering a taxi at reception it cost me €20 whereas I played €10 when ordering from the app called bolt. But these aren't big complaints.
9,2 Excellent
Cons: Hotel is very clean and staff very friendly.

Pros: The sea water swimming pool was excellent, if rather on the very salty side. Good choice of sunbeds & umbrellas. Good, clean, spacious room with lovely view over the pool & out to sea. Nice clean bathroom with walk in shower. Good choice for breakfast. Friendly staff. It’s a small hotel so not crowded at all. Although I suspect it will feel more so in peak summer time. We were there at the end of September and it wasn’t busy.
Cons: Our room, although clean & tidy could benefit from refurbishment, as it was looking a little tired. Didn’t spoil our holiday though, just an observation. The pool is quite small & I think it would feel crowded if the hotel was fully booked. The hotel did not have a drinks dispenser, although it has a coffee shop where it was possible to buy water from. There is no shop nearby if you need any food or drinks.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything else about our stay there. The food they serve is very good and reasonable prices.
Cons: The only issue we had was the sliding door going to our balcony was extremely hard to open an close.
8,8 Excellent
Cons: We were missing vegetables at breakfast!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location , friendly helpful staff, sea view room was just wonderful waking up every morning to the boats bobbing on a clear blue sea. Will definitely return maybe next year.
Cons: Possibly more umbrellas by pool buts because I don’t like too much sun.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location staff and breakfast
Cons: Paying for a room safe and housekeeping knocking your door at 8.30am !!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, views and super friendly staff. We had a huge room with wraparound balcony, great aircon and blackout curtains. Read the reviews about the kareoke/noise and didn't hear any of that. Can't recommend enough!
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Bedroom/ bathroom could do with updating

Pros: Overall, basic services are all included and even when the parking was busy with guys who came to dine in restaurants the staff kindly found a parking place for me so I did not have to go do that myself.
Cons: A little bit lazy like everybody else in Malta - but again it is everywhere. I wish check-in at 1-30am when I arrived took less than 20 minutes, but when I went down to enjoy my breakfast, had almost forgot about that. In contrast, check-out took me 1 min even when I had to pay the bill.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely helpful, especially when we had problems with our first room. We received complimentary dinner and room upgrade for the rest of the week. The location is great, public transport to get you to either end of the island and beautiful sea views.
Cons: Our first room was not up to the standards expected from the resort as I have stayed there previously, but soon as this were pointed out to concierge they moved us to a new room the next day and complimentary dinner as an apology.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very airy in lobby area pools good
Cons: Pillows to hard, and some staff in coffee shop spoke no English and didn’t understand order
5,8 Okay
Pros: Nice location, bed was comfortable
Cons: Waited an hour for room to be cleaned (checked in an hour late), room wasnt cleaned properly even after that wait, aircondition barely made the room cold, one mug given in the room for tea/coffee when we were 2 guests, overall not clean hallway or room.

Unwind by our lagoon styled outdoor pool, or simply enjoy a day at our private sandy beach. With a variety of restaurants and bars (some seasonal), InterContinental Malta offers an array of dining options designed to enhance your stay with us.
8,6 Excellent
Cons: Not enough pool. DIdn't like the area it was located near.
7,7 Good
Pros: Dinning facilities and hotel ambient layout interior
Cons: Location
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Pool, towels, bathrobe, big bed, balcony
Cons: The sink was clogged and water drained slowly.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was OK.
Cons: The hotel is old and you can notice that everytime. The rooms are semi-clean but the corridors are not clean at all. We were expecting significantly more from InterContinental and were strongly dissapointed therefore after two nights we changed the hotel. Additionally, the location is really poor.
6,3 Good
Cons: the place is dated, room smelt of mould and didnt feel clean
4,2 Okay
Pros: The staff were generally very nice and breakfast was a good standard
Cons: The room was dreadful, we requested a quiet room (from my understanding that meant away from the lifts and busy areas). We were given rooms at the furthest point of the hotel! We changed room twice because we were being given rooms with interconnecting doors to the neighbouring room. The receptionist said to me "why don't you put a towel across the bottom of the door"!! I reminded her how much we had paid for this luxury experience! The final room was very bad, the duty manager said this was an upgrade, they had removed the carpet in the whole room except for a strip around the bed. The flooring was hard plywood with a hard rough surface with no edging between the carpet and the hard surface. The room was tired and needed a full refit, the patio doors were broken, the balcony was dreadful and the bathroom was poor (broken tiles and dirty) The hotel location was not good, there is lots of building work and tower cranes and this hotel is just in the wrong area with lots of busy and "adult" bars. You are woken up in the morning at 7:00am as the building work starts! This is supposed to be a 5 star luxury hotel and for 4 days we paid just over £1000.00 and that does not represent the Intercontinental Brand, it was very very disappointing and will never go back.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The staff were great.
Cons: The switch their air conditioners off in teh night even when the temp is high citing the reason that they are getting ready for the winter months. Absurd.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely restaurants and bars, beach is too cramped. Lovely rooms and all in all a good deal. A lot of choice in terms of restaurants nearby and staff really friendly
Cons: No access to infinity pool, staff up there when we requested to go in looked down on us
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location is great , great facilities , friendly staff , nice pool and changing room Gym is exceptional for a hotel
Cons: Only small things , seal on door of shower was broke didn’t report it so my own fault , few bits were a bit grubby but needs freshening up
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We upgraded to suites, which gave us access to the Intercontinental Lounge and Sky Beach. Both were outstanding - in terms of facilities and customer service. The area is well served by public buses and taxis, so getting around is easy (and affordable).
Cons: Suites need to have the ability to be offered as a twin bedded option. Our children had to be accommodated on a king sized bed and a camp bed - if rooms were equipped with twin beds that can be made up separately or locked together, then the comfort of all guest could be catered to. Had we booked a family room or standard room, we could have secured this facility, but we did want the additional facilities attaching to a suite. The area behind the hotel is populated by bars and '' gentlemen's clubs'' and feels pretty seedy, with poor variety of eating options. That said, the hotel is so good that there is little need to stray far from it unless exploring, in which case Valetta/ Medina/ Gozo are great options.

6,7 Good
Pros: Beautiful and rather spacious room with balcony and mini kitchen hidden in cupboard. Good appearance of building lobby and other places. Clean. Lower pool 10*5*1.5m is good and warm, as well as sauna (only for 2 persons) - but all other SPA facilities for extra pay.
Cons: Poor soundproofing everywhere. Noise from ventilation fan in bathroom heard in room. Sewage sounds from sewage grid in the bathroom floor - such elements shouldn't be just a hole in the floor. Too small glass near bathtub - water splashing on the floor anyway. Blue LED of USB socket is to bright - wakes up in the night. Only one key (card) for twin room. A bed seems not to be comfortable.
7,1 Good
Pros: The roof top pool and views from there.
Cons: Building works were ongoing next to the hotel, and although the hotel was not full they placed us in a room next to the building works which started at 7am everyday, including weekends.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff helpful. Room very comfortable. Food excellent and plenty of choice. Only stayed a couple of nights. Would certainly stay again and would certainly recommend.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The spa was great and room was lovely
Cons: Very far to get to the room (2 separate elevators)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Broad offer of hot and cold food, salt, sweet, fruit
Cons: Wish better access to drinking water
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with wonderful apartment rooms. The location was easy to get to from the airport (X1 bus all the way to the restaurant strip with a short walk up to the hotel, plenty of very good quality cruisine to choose from right next door including an oyster/seafood place, a wonderful Chinese, a traditional Maltese and Indian chef restaurant and some of the local culture foods, including a handy grocer shop nearby for the more regular needs (milk, bread etc). Our room had two balconies and kitchenette and was well lit with comfortable beds and sofa, staff were always on hand and ready to help with any travel/stay related queries and maintained a clean and friendly environment.
Cons: The view was of the main road in through the town and was a bit busy and high rise for my personal tastes but others may love this. The wifi was slightly weaker in our room and could benefit from a booster nearer the higher reaching apartments. No other bad points, only that we didn't have time during our short stay to use the spa and pool! :)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is comfortable and has everything you need, plus the top floor pool with views over Mellieha is a nice bonus! Concierge parking (at the back of the hotel) also made things easier and the car parking staff were very helpful.
Cons: A little annoying that the room service menu doesn't mention cash only payments (unless you have an account set up) and that staff didn't mention this either, which meant I had to then take two different lifts to go all the way down to the bar in another part of the hotel to pay by card, therefore defeating the the purpose of room service entirely! Hair dryers are also not great (have to hold a button down which gets uncomfortable fast) so bring your own if you have long hair!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: rooftop
Cons: path to the room
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff very kind and helpfull, the location very good, the view panoramic.very close to the golden beach.
Cons: The shower has no door

Pros: I think the entrance was average but it wasn't a 4 star accommodation at all.
Cons: It was definitely wear for tear and does need a bit more looking after.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were really helpful and accommodating
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff are absolutely lovely. Lovely hotel quite immaculate and an enjoyable stay.
Cons: Only have one gripe and that is the small green/blue cushions/pillows on the bed are extremely grotty and it's clear they have not been cleaned in a while.
7,9 Good
Pros: The roof top terrace and how helpful the staff were
Cons: Could be a little updated on the paint work side of things in the rooms
5,8 Okay
Pros: Comfortable bed, nice toiletries and shower. Fridge in room. Quiet room. Roof top bar.
Cons: Balcony view over roof tops and building rubble. Very scruffy street. Pool was very dirty, peeling paint and green. Room needed refurb, patched ceiling, holes in the bottom of the curtains.
7,1 Good
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Staff was a bit lost (most of the staff were trainees training trainees). The staff was making an effort but clearly the client approach wasn't the best. Drinks real prices were higher than the prices mentioned in the drinks menu. The hotel should have assumed the mistake instead just informed that was an old menu. The check-out was unfriendly (we assume we were 20m past 11h but there was no need to pressure the clients).

Pros: For the cost the hotel is very run down and in need of renovation
Cons: Shabby and unclean. The only highlight was the spa
7,5 Good
Pros: The food was good and the rooms were lovely and clean.
Cons: Although it was February I was disappointed that there was building work going on and the pool and sunbeds shown in the advertising were not usable. I was going back in May for my daughters hen and really hope, as the weather will be warmer, this will be available then. You need this as there is not a lot in the location, it is quite a quiet location.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice standard hotel. It’s clean and location is ok. There is a bus stop nearby. The see view is beautiful (we paid extra for our room). Tasty small cakes for breakfast were very tasty.
Cons: The sweet part of the breakfast was good, the salty part is awful. I don’t know what they use to make scrambled eggs but it doesn’t taste like eggs. Ham is very bad and tastes like paper. Only local pasticies for breakfast were good. I think for this price hotel should use better products for breakfast.
7,9 Good
Pros: food is good and the view is incredible
Cons: we waited for quite a while before we were given a room and the room had no beds in it when we went up
6,7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was sufficient, served buffet style every day and catered well for a large number of customers. Access to the indoor pool was a bit difficult to find, as the outdoor ones were effectively closed for three days due to strong winds and thunderstorms. Limited amount of information about the hotel and facilities, until we discovered it on the room TV after three days!
Cons: Poor information regarding public transport and getting around if you were not doing organised tours etc.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast and pool
Cons: Soft Mattress, A/c switched to fan during the night, No teaspoons during breakfast
4,6 Okay
Cons: Air conditioning very noisy. Water was steaming hot, impossible to shower. No drinking water in the room (paying or not). Very expensive for the quality of the facilities.

Pros: Nice breakfast, great pool for children, The hotel's restaurants were nice
Cons: The air-conditioning was very loudly, hard to sleep at night, there are a little verity of vegetables at breakfast

Cons: Outdoor pool was closed with no loungers.snackbar was also not open.advertised massages were not available due to no therapist onsite.

Pros: Breakfast was good but here too, the staff just took room numbers or cleaned up. No greetings, no friendliness at all. Location is ok
Cons: Facilities promised in the booking was not delivered. Unapproachable staff and management who blames the guest and seeks confrontation rather than solutions Room cleaning happening at 3pm

Pros: Breakfast was very good with a wide choice. A great lift.
Cons: Some staff were very friendly but others were a bit grumpy. Room was a bit jaded. The furniture was a bit utilitarian and scuffed.

Pros: Stafff were friendly
Cons: Found a cockroach in my room.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent food and plenty of variety - restaurant very comfortable with pleasant atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble - everyone so friendly. Comfortable spacious room.
Cons: Shower at the poolside for entering indoor pool.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location. Air conditioning. The cleaning staff were the most friendliest in the hotel. The tourist adviser in the hotel, she was excellent.
Cons: The beds were the most uncomfortable that we have ever slept in. We couldn’t use the outdoor pool and lounge area as it was deemed to be out of season! TV didn’t work properly, every time we switched it off, we would need to call maintenance to come and reset it!
6,7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Lift, whole way, room door and sanitary facility was poor. Single bed was making so much noises. Entertainment facility was poor. I had suite book and let me tell you it was bad. I’ll rate 3 out of 10. View was good and location also. But the rest I don’t think sure I’ll approve as 4*.

7,5 Good
Pros: Room was excellent, a a great view of the harbor from the balcony.
Cons: First morning I turned up at breakfast at 9.30 a.m. While the restaurant has a great many tables,, place was packed. Had to wait for a table and staff had a problem keeping up clearing tables. Quite an unpleasant experience with so many people. Rest of my stay I went down at 7.15 a.m. when hardly anybody there. Much better. Pool for some reason opens late at 10.00 a.m. and closed early at 6.00 p.m. I arrived at 10.15 a.m. and by 11.00 a.m. place packed and there must be 60+ loungers. Very loud music coming from the hotel over the road Pool is not very deep. So not really designed for swimming. There was a group of young guys in the pool at the edge drinking and smoking in the pool!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff we're really nice and helpful. The room was clean and spacious and designed with extreme care to details.

Pros: Bed very comfortable and house keeping excellent. Breakfast has a good selection for all tastes and very well presented. Pool area is perfect for a chill out day. Our room was on the 7th floor and therefore quiet. Overall a very good centrally located hotel.
Cons: Rooms due to the decor and location were a bit on the dark side.

Pros: Staff where friendly Roof top pool is good but as hotel is split into 2. It was a chore going down a lift then along corridor, passing reception and into shopping mall then into another lift to pool area on 11th floor. Resturant same but on 4th floor of other building.
Cons: Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android Where do we start.  Traveled to this hotel for 1 wk holiday. From 10th - 17th Oct 2019 with my husband and x2 children.  The area and noise level surrounding the hotel is dreadful. Busy road with constant horn beeping late into the night and early hours. Not to mention the ceedy bars and music going on until 6am. Yes we were grateful for the hotel gift of ear plugs on arrival to our room.  The accommodation was very poor and required urgent attention. Cracked glass balcony, tiles loose on floor, bathroom flooding due to poor showing facilities. Terrible & smelly drainage. No we would not visit again & stay in this hotel. However, made the most of it but have come home feeling very tired. Not recommending anyone to book room 602. From a families point of view this hotel is not suitable as surrounding area feels unsafe after dark. Pictures can be made available on request.

Pros: For the price I paid, our room was extremely large and well located. Europe is notorious for their small hotel rooms, but ours had two bedrooms (with two twin size beds in each), a small kitchenette, a small sitting/table area, and a balcony. We had a room with a view of Bay Street shopping and it was quite the view at night for people watching. One of the bedrooms had a floor to ceiling window that I loved as it brought in a lot of natural lighting. The bathrooms have the standard complementary toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc) as well as unique options such as a sanitary bag, shaving kits, shoe shine, and shower cap. I thought this was a nice touch because some of these things can be very useful. Reception can schedule tourist trips for you. We got in at 11 pm on a Friday, went down to reception at 8:20 am Saturday, and were able to purchase tickets to the blue lagoon with the shuttle picking us up from the hotel at 9:15! It was nice that although last minute, the hotel was able to fit us in.
Cons: The biggest downside to this hotel is the unreal amount they charge for wifi. It is 2017, most hotels offer free wifi, if not a discounted rate for a single device or something. We were also not informed about the wifi or the process upon check in, so when trying to connect it was quite the surprise. You can pay daily for one device with an additional charge per additional device connected to the wifi. The website did not explain this clearly, so upon check out the price I had to pay was shocking. Not to mention the TERRIBLE connection it provided. If you have data and would like your phone to run at a normal speed, be smart and don't waste money on the wifi. All around bad experience with the wifi. As we were waiting for our cab back to the airport, another group checking out was also shocked about the balance due for their internet usage and I heard reception explaining the process again. This could be avoided by informing customers upon check in or offering free wifi like most 21st century hotels. But I see both of those options being "bad for business" and not likely to happen.
