Pros: Loved this place. Angelo the owner met us and helped us park and showed us our room which was at the top next to the roof terrace. Beautiful views over the city. He made us coffee and chatted in English/italian (very little italian from us!) but we all got by. Angelo then promptly booked us a table at a local restaurant for the evening. It was fantastic and only 5mins away. It's about a half hour walk to Ragusa Ibla and slightly longer to get back as the steps are steep!! The room was large and really clean and I would recommend anyone to stay here. It is a gem!

Pros: The hosts are wonderful, extremely friendly, helpful and funny. Breakfast was incredible with the best scaccia ever (take your time to enjoy it) and the location is perfect with beautiful views of the cathedral. Very agreeable stay really!

Pros: The host is almost the experience on itself. He is truly dedicated to giving you a wonderful stay, it's genuine. The room was perfect. For the price you get good quality and the breakfast is truly amazing! The breakfast is on the rooftop and has a beautiful view over Ragusa. It's not situated in the heart of the old town, but we actually liked that because there is so much more to see than only the historical center.

Cons: Apartment with very little natural light, only the front door, but that seems to be standard for ground floor apartments. There was a musty smell, probably as a result of not being aired.

Pros: Fabrizio was so helpful. Omg he baked for us everyday a delicious tea cake. Very comfy, plenty of space. We were there on very cold nights. It snowed. But once the rooms were warm we didn’t need the heating on overnight. Was easy to find parking in the close streets. Easy to get out of town for road trips. Easy to walk down to Regusa. We took the car down to Ibla and parked there and drove back up

Pros: I was expected to have apartment with a shared roof terrace, as those appeared in the booking com website. However when we got there, we only realized that it was not the type of apartment that we were going to stay in. It was a bit disappointing at that moment. May be there was a misunderstanding with the reservation. Anyway, during our 2 days stay at Casa Francesco, I would say that we have no complaints about the apartment that was given to us . On the contrary, we really enjoyed our stay there. The apartment is clean and the freshly baked pastries that we received daily were delicious. We will definitely stay at Casa Francesco the next time we stay our in Ragusa.

Note - only one apartment has the terrace with view in picture we just had a tiny balcony too small to sit out on .
