Pros: JW Marriott Quito is an excllent hotel in all aspects. The staff are very polite and they are always available for suggestions. The restaurants are great specially for La Hacienda. The room is clean, big and very beautiful. The executive lounge has excellent food and it is very comfortable. I really recommend JW Marriott Quito.

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay at this hostal. In all its simplicity, it had all I needed. I was staying in a room with a private bathroom and the room was well equipped. I also appreciated having access to a shared kitchen which I used a lot during my stay to make my breakfast and dinner and keep my fruits in the fridge. Having access to the laundry was also very nice. My room was on the third floor and I had a nice view to the mountains from my window. I appreciated the aesthetics of the hostal and its coziness and cleanliness. Also the location was very very convenient (in between old town and Mariscal) with many small shops and restaurants around. If I go to Quito again, I would definitely stay in this hostal. I also enjoyed the people I met in this hostal, a few of them regular guests. Thank you for everything Hostal L'Auberge!

Pros: This hostel looks amazing. You enter in a dining area, you can have breakfast lunch and diner here. The hostel has small stairs that lead you to the room. There is an open terras also. The room is big enough, looks good en is clean! The staff is really helpful. Everything you want is here! Especially for this price, great place!

Cons: Hotel located in the area with pubs, music clubs so it is rather noisy until midnight.

Cons: Breakfast was average, not much choice. Couldn't use my credit card to check out due to problems with system, had to go round the corner to take cash out of an ATM (with same credit card).

Cons: Maintenance of rooms was awful. Power sockets dated and in poor repair. No GFCI outlets in bathroom- dangerous. Elevator had issues- obvious when you see that the date is wrong too. Extreme power savings in hallways is creepy as you have to step into darkness to trigger the motion sensor to turn on hallway lights. Definitely not a four star property, but a solid three stars are within reach.
