The location in the old walled city was outstanding. The proprietor was very friendly, gave directions and hints for stores and restaurants which were accurate.
There was no breakfast provided. There was no central gathering place or lounge in this facility - only rooms accessed via an outside door.
The beds were very comfy
Location is best feature, right in the heart of Old Quebec City so everything is nearby and did not need a car or other transportation. Could walk to most places.
This is a walk up, no elevator and no one was available to help with luggage. We had large suitcases as we were travelling for over 2 weeks and had to lug them up to the 3rd floor (2 flights of steps, they refereed to our room as being on the 2nd floor). OK if you are young but we aren't. Knew it was a walk up but had expected there would be assistance available when we checked in. Pictures on web make rooms look better than they actually are but they were passable.
Location, historical building, helpful staff.
Really enjoyed staying in this hotel, so historic and interesting. Staff very welcoming and assisted with everything!
The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable.
The picture of the rooms on the website is deceiving, it shows two queen size beds in the same room when in-fact the beds are in separate rooms on a second floor. The furniture was old and torn.
