Super easy pickup and drop off in Punta Gorda. However, the truck we rented had the tint removed but not the adhesive. The windows were super sticky to the touch and would barely go down and getting them back up was a half hour task. ALWAYS check ALL window operations before driving away with your car!! Upon return, no one really cared but some manager gave us a discount as long as we promised to give a 5 star review when Alamo sent a survey!! Is that bribery??

Pros:

Staff tried. there were no trucks available for us. We had to wait over 30 minutes and I had a mortgage closing that I had to attend. It was very stressful.

The truck exterior was filthy!! The interior cleanliness was overall pretty good other than the huge seagull poop on the back seat. Obviously the windows were left open and the BIG bird had great aim. Other than that this was a top 10 experience with Budget. Punta Gorda front desk pickup service is always good.

Pros:

The kid behind the counter was nice, as he told me I could not rent a car.

Cons:

Maybe let people know when they rent a car that if they are picking it up from an airport that they MUST have a credit card in their name to rent it and that a debit card DOES NOT work. That's kind of important information!!! That way they don't get stuck there with 2 small kids who were scared they'd never get home for hours and have to have their elderly mother drive 3 hours in the middle of the night to pick them up to drive another 3 hours to get home by 4 am for the kids first day of school that morning. Luckily she was able to or we might still be there as there were no Uber drivers in the area and a cab would have been $300 for us. If you are going to REQUIRE something, you need to make sure people know that!!!!

Got a car where passenger window wouldn’t roll back up. Had to drive over an hour to get a new car. They said they would have one ready for us they didn’t. Then tried to give us a smaller car while making my two kids wait in 95 degree weather.

You all need a bigger signs for drop off. And better signs in the back of the building as to where to enter after you drop off. I can figure it out but the older generations may not. Tad bit confusing. You one tiny sign blow over in the back of the building. Just an idea for you ;)

Our flight was delayed so we rented a car for 3 hours to get away. Car obviously not inspected prior to us. Smelled like smoke. Dirty exterior. Documentation said it was full, but it was under 1/8th full of fuel. Upon return, no one around. Competitor rental company in same parking lot performing check-ins, said, he wasn't surprised. I see charged on my card, that I have no idea why.

Nice enough vehicle however I was charged more onto my credit card than my initial payment. I can’t believe tolls for 2 trips over to beach was $108 bucks. We washed and cleaned out van and filled up. Will never do again with this company.

Was not very satisfied with the rental. Had 2 tires with slow leaks and had to put air them twice while I had the vehicle. The seatbelt detector didn’t work on the passenger side. Vehicle was dirty also

The car that i reserved being available. I was left stranded bc ur website showed cars avail to rent but when i got there they had no cars. Cost me 4 hours of my vacation time dealing with trying to get another car from another location. Not to mention the extra cost for the taxi to the next town car rental and the extra cost of the diff vehicle. Not happy at all
