Housekeeping services were awesome. I enjoyed the beach club. The view was awesome.
Visitors were not allowed. The hotel elevator was unpredictable. It stopped working one evening. The decor was outdated if not damaged as well. I ordered a room with a king-sized bed, yet I was assigned a room with 2 double beds. My wishes for the bed was denied.
Great location and got a good last minute deal
Bare minimum you need for your stay. No refrigerator, MW etc in the room for coffee.
Great location, dated hotel
The hotel is old, the elevator is very slow, and the rooms are going through remodeling
the air conditioner
first room had view of couples bedroom - they liked to keep their curtains open. after paying for "upgrade" got a smaller room with small balcony. the room had no towels, no light bulbs, no blankets. the hairdryer was so broken it could have electrocuted someone. permanent stains on towels, sheets, blankets and bedspread. no cups or glasses. no coffee maker. shower drain and toilet drain were clogged. pools were very small and all surrounded by buildings. highly not recommended.
Great location right on the beach with no extra charge for chairs. View from my oceanfront room is as good as it gets in PV. Room was extremely clean. Hallways were dark.
Low water pressure and luke-warm water. No dresser in my room to unpack-had to live out of my suitcase.
I will be nice and just say, NO WAY JOSE!!!
Gross!, Nasty!, how do you rent a room for a few days and no guts to flush a toilet after going #2. Same day move to an other room, ok! Second room, direct sun light room And no A/C, very hot & muggie! Third room Sir, ok wait in lobby four hours and we have No rooms Sir! ? WoW, I just walked away they had no help! NO Way Jose!!
Been staying at Blue Chairs for years. Have seen m
Room was nice & clean with hot water. Both AC & ceiling fan works well. Didn't have much usage of the fridge. Best view from my balcony.
Didn't like the fact that the shower has no holder for soap or shampoo and the towel holder could be bigger.
AC never worked. Toilet did not flush. Shower always leaked into the room. That was the best out of 5 rooms we went through. Erica the manager was not very accommodating
Sub standard amenities.
The wait staff at the beach level are great.
Rooms apparently not check often enough for functioning items such as A/C, Cable TV, etc. Hotel also has low water pressure & hot water is practically non existence.
Pay More and Go Elsewhere
The location for the events we wanted to do, and the other gay areas was good, and you don't have to pay extra for the beach.
Housekeeping actually stole my iPhone charger and they did absolutely nothing to correct the situation, regardless of my multiple visits to the front desk. The room was dirty, even after housekeeping came in - when I checked in there was urine splatter all over the toilet. There was no shelf in the shower and mold growing on the bottom of the shower curtain. The building is constantly under construction, so don't expect to sleep at all during the day - and if not from the construction noise, than from the music they blast in the pool/rooftop bar areas. The food is edible...but not tasty or good. The staff is...meh. I will never stay there again. For only a few dollars more, I can stay somewhere way nicer.
Great for the money! Amazing location and views.
This is a gay friendly resort in a fabulous location right in front of the Los Muertos Beach. You can literally walk to everything from this hotel which is very convenient for travelers. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They didn't give me a hard time about trying to check in early or late checkout. My room was clean and comfortable and had a balcony with a beachfront view! Definitely a great value for the money. When you stay here you get to enjoy the chairs on the beach for free. Great to relax and read a book or enjoy the eye candy. They have a restaurant downstairs with very reasonable prices. They also offered to clean our room every day and were flexible when we asked them to come back later. I really enjoyed my visit overall and am glad I stayed here!
I was worried when reading the reviews of the quality of the property. My room was one of the older rooms but it had been updated. The property overall is under construction and on some days the noise is bothersome (though the construction noise was only audible about 2 out of the 7 days I was there). They have a drag show with loud music between 7-10pm or so. I was on the 4th floor so it was too bothersome but I could definitely hear it inside my room when the balcony doors were open. If you're sensitive to noise or want a serene more relaxing property I wouldn't stay here. I personally sleep with earplugs so it didn't bother me. The water pressure was OK and took a few minutes to warm up. Otherwise those would be my only complaints. Oh the elevator is a little slow so if you're impatient I recommend staying on the lower floors (it's quieter too). Otherwise it's a great property especially considering how inexpensive it is.
