Our 3rd visit to Puebla and 3rd time staying at this hotel. Best location for everything and the staff is always helpful. Love the ambiance and views of the historical area. Will always stay here while visiting Puebla.
Very spacious and quiet and comfortable. Breakfast very good. Location perfect. Safe for single woman traveler.
Water pressure in shower was low. Consistency of shower water temperature was annoying. Wish we had a mini-fridge because we stayed 10 days. Hard to find ice which we needed.
This is a historic property dating back to the early 18th century. The rooms are enormous with beautiful antique furniture, balconies, tall ceilings and a stunning inner courtyard where they serve an excellent complimentary breakfast.
Nothing—we loved it!
The location is close to the Zolcalo and that is a plus. Calle de los Sapos is around the corner. The staff was helpful. If you want to stay in a 1600 colonial hotel this place satisfies that nostalgia. The rooms are huge with beautiful high ceilings. Convenience store directly below, great for a cold drink or hot coffee.
More attention and effort could be taken to upgrade the towels and sheets, their quality is below average. The shower had very little pressure making it difficult to bath. Perhaps a small upgrade to the showerhead would help. The sink had full water pressure so it leads me to believe it's the plumbing fixtures that need attention. It's on a busy street so be prepared to have earplugs handy. No fan or A/C so you have to open windows or doors to ventilate. You'll hear people taking within the building due to the typical colonial architecture. Or you may hear your neighbors talking. Requested an extra bed for a child, it was in poor condition and sagging, would have been uncomfortable for an adult or older child.
Great location, walking distance to everything in downtown, very safe. Friendly staff, each room has a different theme, mine was Middle Eastern “Persian” and very cozy. If you love antiques and appreciate old architecture this is a must place to come. Don’t expect room service, elevator and/or AC this types of old homes were not meant to have those amenities. Very lovely atmosphere overall
The Hotel Casa de la Palma is considered a special category first class hotel for its unique and wide 16 suites. Each one is decorated differently, keeping the architecture and history of each room. For its beautiful architecture and exclusive design, the house is considered world heritage.
Its excellent location (one block to the cathedral) its make access to the most important and world recognizes touristic places easier.
