Cons: all perfect
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful B&B, lovely grounds, well maintained. The amenities were more than I expected and very thoughtful. It was wonderful to take a glass of wine, home baked cookies, fruit and sit out back watching the sun set. Very relaxing. Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious--polenta and fresh scrambled eggs. The hostess of the property was very welcoming, accommodating and easy-going. She gave me great suggestions on local sights.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Inn Keeper was super sweet and the breakfast was delicious. Everything from the grounds, to the rooms, and company was fabulous.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is great, bed is very comfortable, just like in my own home.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Well cared for property, Lydia is a very good host, all details are cared for.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Food was plentiful and extremely flavorful. Enjoyed the country, cozy ambience of a 1700 period home close to downtown Princeton and surrounding areas. Spring was in full bloom which made our trip even more special.
Cons: An option to have a floor fan, to help block out obvious extra sounds from an older home, would be helpful as well as to help move the air around since the windows are not really for opening since the home is 150+ yrs old. Just helpful for in between weather like spring and fall.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lydia our host was fabulous. The property was beautiful - sitting rooms, patio, yard, bedrooms. It is an historic property with a wonderful vintage feel. Perfect for a relaxing getaway, and a great home base close to Princeton if visiting children or friends at the school.
Cons: The only negative I can think of is the mild traffic noise from the street, which kept it from being a complete oasis.

7,1 Good
Pros: bed very comfortable
Cons: NO gluten free menu and at $100 a head for Valentines dinner very bad. Service bit slow. Breakfast again no gluten free bread. so you offer an inclusive continental breakfast but no gf croissants etc. Ridiculous in a high end place. I have lived in this area over 30 years and will not come back to eat. Food ok but nothing great No bedside lighting. Had to get out of bed to lower lighting. Valentines Day......you didnt give the ladies flowers or something to recognize the occasion. Not good
9,6 Excellent

9,6 Excellent

7,9 Good
Pros: Being transferred to a much better room after a dismal first night in a tiny room with a broken toilet.
Cons: The first room.
7,5 Good
Pros: The location of the Peacock Inn is great, especially for business, research, or just a visit to Princeton University. The bed was very comfortable with superior linens. The bedroom and bathroom were well lighted.
Cons: The room was very small; just passing by another person at the foot of the bed or behind the desk chair was very cumbersome. Parking in the evening was inconvenient because of the limited space that also had to accommodate dining guests; valet parking was obligatory. The choices for breakfast are limited to a small "Continental Breakfast" box on the menu; no warm breakfast dishes (e.g., eggs or omelets) are included for overnight guests, rather disappointing consider the room's cost. Basic teas, such English breakfast or Earl Grey, were surprisingly not available; the coffee, however, was excellent.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Front desk staff is so friendly. Room was large. Bathroom was also large. Molton Brown products a treat as well.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Modern rooms and bathroom Great early morning coffee station pre breakfast
Cons: Only 2 items included for free with breakfast
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with great food.
Cons: Many stairs to room.

Pros: Club lounge is nice and very convenient and I like it.
Cons: None.
4,6 Okay
Pros: The night staff was awesome when we checked in. The gentleman was such a joy.
Cons: We felt that what was advertised via pictures were false. We came to the hotel thinking of romance, and relaxation. We didn't get it.. Our room was small, tight space for two people. The basketball court was a dirt filled small space, big enough for a small child. The volleyball courts were horrible. The volleyball nets were full of holes and the sand was disgusting. We wanted to leave the first day we got there, but didn't want to be charged for not staying. This place was not what it advertised. We were very disappointed. The staff were fairly nice. For the price we paid for the stay, food, and drinks. I would never stay here again.

Pros: I love the layout and spaciousness of the kitchen/living area, and the furniture in the bedroom. Friendly desk help. Pretty high quality breakfast for a free buffet. Very clean and convenient.
Cons: There should be more wastebaskets. Just one in the kitchen and one in the closed part of the bathroom is not enough. At least another in the sink area essential.

Pros: Eggs, bed comfortable, clean dishes, new appliances, lots of towels. Bath tub was slippery. Soap dispenser mob fell off.
Cons: Carpet could use cleaning. One window was missing a pull down shade. Living room could use a bit of paint. Front door needs paint as it was scuffed up.

Pros: The breakfast was fresh and really good. The rooms were clean, no real complaints.
Cons: However, the only thing I didn't like was the $99 hold on your card for incidentals when I had called the hotel prior to ask if they had incidentals. I was a really upset about putting $99 on my card even if they would take the hold off of my card after my stay. Also, the hotel needs to be renovated the interior was outdated and old feeling.

Pros: Holiday Inn lady was mean and rude upon arrival and she would honor the double bed reservation made on this site. She tried to put us in a one bed room with a rollout cot and she prepared my booked double bed room to give away to a Jahova witness event person. Very poor experience and she should be reported and fired.
7,1 Good
Pros: It is conveniently located with comfortable rooms.
Cons: One of the reasons we booked our overnight trip here was because the website said heated pool. They didn’t specify that it is only heated in the winter. Yes it was hot outside but the water was absolutely freezing so most of my family didn’t even go in as planned. Then the second day the jacuzzi was out of order.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful building and staff were very professional. The room was clean.
Cons: The mattress was not good. The breakfast was not good either
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Oddly luxurious being in a repurposed office building. Affordable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful. Kara was amazing and helped us tremendously at check in although the issues we had were due to my error. I greatly appreciated the professionalism and kindness throughout our stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Leaving it
Cons: The rooms were smelly and stuffy. We tried to open the windows to air it out but there was no screen in the windows and we were on the ground floor. Not the safest. No pool or gym though it says there is
7,1 Good
Pros: I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is family friendly and the continental breakfast was exactly what to expect. The rooms were clean and great for one night. I would say this is definitely a hotel for a quick trip and no more than 1 or 2 nights.
Cons: The hotel is shared “sister hotel”with the Crown Plaza. I didn’t know this while booking. I do think they should let you know that all their amenities are at the other location. No biggie, if you are able to walk back and forth. They also shared pics online that were a bit misleading. IE: the water fountains are not on their location it’s a building shared in the complex.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious and convenient. A short drive to Princeton, or, during the week, the hotel offers a free shuttle.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It is a very pretty, peaceful setting.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Upon check in I noticed the room type had been changed from two double beds to a king. The parking lot was almost empty and I only saw four other guests the entire time I was there. The hotel claimed my reservation was changed as the hotel was booked to capacity. Not a chance was that true. I was advised that if I could not furnish evidence that I booked a room with double beds, I would be charged $25 for a rollaway. I was able to prove my reservation was not met and a rollaway was left upright in the room for me to set up, which required moving multiple pieces of furniture. I understand the quality of a Holiday Inn and was not expecting many amenities. The hotel lived up to that expectation. Very outdated common areas--looks like the 90's was the most recent update. Access to the gym at the Crowne Plaza worked fine, but again, outdated equipment.
Cons: Having my reservation changed then dishonesty by the hotel that the property was full when it appeared to be almost vacant.
7,1 Good
Pros: Beautiful setting- walking trails and quiet. No road noise
Cons: Long meandering hallways to get to room. Dated

Pros: Comfortable and fantastic location in the centre of the Palmers Square and opposite Princeton University. We were upgraded which was a lovely surprise and had a huge suite to ourselves. Quite pricey, but with the upgrade it was worth it.
Cons: There were a couple of weddings on while we were there so the lifts were slow and busy. I would have liked a more 'lobby area' to relax in on arrival or just to chill out.

Pros: We had a great experience at Nassau Inn. The staff was lovely, the room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is fantastic if you need to get to campus quickly.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the service were fantastic. Loved the restaurant, the Yankee Tap Room.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The old Inn, central, easy location...
Cons: But, the old girl has had her day. It is so out dated. Even things they could fix like touching up banged up furniture, old fixtures, rusting tubs, peeling wallpaper, they have not. Surprising condition and with all the newer boutique hotels you would think they would make more of an effort. For 40 years I have been in and out and never saw the rooms, carpet and halls like that...

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Woke up the entire hotel at 1 AM in the morning for a false fire alarm. Then again at 730 am. Took responders 30 min to turn off the alarm, while my kids yelled and cried in our rooms. Horribly unorganized , they offered free breakfast to try to make up.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Dinner menu.
Cons: Changed rooms we reserved, no use of pool, no bath mats, fresh ink on comforter, no place to put cosmetics, leaky toilet, freezing lobby
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the bedroom layout in the king and queen double-bed rooms. The bathroom shower was great, loved the multiple showerheads (1 rainfall up top, 1 handheld) both could be adjusted very easily however you like. Awesome pool, nice and warm (just a touch too chlorinated and very slightly yellow/green). Good fitness center. Much better than most other places I've stayed Service and staff was very friendly. The facilities were very clean. Very nice lounging areas both indoor and outdoor. Breakfast was good and had a decent variety. Wait staff was excellent.
Cons: Bathroom not ideal for more than 1 person. 1 at the sink, and 1 passing through to the shower proved to be an issue. Not a deal breaker, but felt a bit tight around the sink and door.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice walk / bike trail close by, early check in, breakfast
Cons: Pillows are too soft and saggy, not comfortable
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I liked the room..... and the hot tub
Cons: The breakfast wasn't great
5,8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast staff were very nice and the housekeeping staff were very friendly. It would have been cook to have a waffle iron. The coffee was amazing! I think thats about it.
Cons: For the price we paid and the hotel being a Homewood Suites hotel, I was surprised at how rundown the place was. There was scratches on the floor in our room, we had to call down to room service for pillows and blankets (not that it was a bad thing, but a family of 4 booked the room all that should have been in there already.) The swimming pool area had no towels and the chlorine smell was so over powering I felt ill sitting there while my daughter swam. Upon check in, we were double checking our room reservation because upon booking, I thought I had booked 2 queen beds, but was given 1 queen bed, plus sofa bed instead. When I was explaining to the receptionist, she said under her breath, "This is why I don't book with third party sites." Frankly, the way I booked was none of her business. I felt embarrassed and upset at her comment. Yes, I did book with a third party website, but it was cheaper for us to do it that way rather then book straight from the hotel. An employee has no right to judge a customer's purchase. I hope something can be done about that.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely. Jazz at the front desk was great! The maid.....not so much.
Cons: I left 2 articles of clothing behind. Stupid......I know. But I never got them back. Even left the maid a $5 tip even tho I was there only one night. I guess the clothes must have fit her.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rude front desk, didnt get my room key until after 5:30 were kept waiting rooms were not ready it was a horrible experience
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, room (suite with kitchen) very spacious and comfortable.
Cons: The Wi-Fi wasn't working
6,3 Good
Pros: The bed and pillows were comfy, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The tubs were old along with old caulk and yucky shower curtains. Some of the kitchens were dirty. We had to switch rooms 3 times. The first room had a horrible smell, the second room's bathroom and kitchen were so dirty. The third room was ok, but I was tired of moving at that point.
6,3 Good
Pros: The quality of accommodations were cute and breakfast was on point with options that were healthy, family friendly and offered several different style breakfast options.
Cons: Lawrence was very rude at check in and somewhat hostile. He also didn't inform me of breakfast location for hours, where my room was located or offer any suggestions for convenient parking nor did he suggest a nearby elevator. Needless to say, my family carried luggage from the opposite side of the building, to the 3rd floor. Also, housekeeping entered my room twice without knocking. Image the fear of being in the shower hearing someone enter while your 5 yr old is in the living room watching TV.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The manager Q was great! She solved an issue very quickly!
Cons: N/A

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: When we walked in there were leaves and trash in the entrance way. After checking in we went to our room and the smell, odor, pushed me back. we never set our luggage down and left. I would give this location a One Star rating or less. Not returning.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very clean.
Cons: The lobby had a smell to it.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Cheap-ish for the area.
Cons: Filthy. Gross. Dated. I believe there was a suicide in my room based on the splatter marks on the ceiling tile tracks. At least they changed the ceiling tiles.
7,1 Good
Cons: Facility is in poor repair
6,3 Good
Pros: The hotel is cheap and located right by the highway. The room is large and didn't lack any features.
Cons: Horrible and wasteful breakfast, incompetent front desk staff, rooms smell bad and location is inconvenient without car.
4,2 Okay
Pros: The property was very close to downtown Princeton for the price.
Cons: It was so dirty!! It smelled and there was a stain on our sheets. The ceiling was also dirty..maybe there was a leak from the upstairs but it could have been an easy fix and cheap to change out the ceiling tiles which would have made it look better. The AC was super old and very loud. I get I paid a very low rate but the hotel needs some major updating and renovating and cleaning!! I’ll make sure to spend a little extra money for a much better room.
7,9 Good
Pros: Location. Price
Cons: Entry and hallways smell. Indian restaurant attached has a strong Oder. Some maintenance issues like broken plaster, original bathtubs and tile from 1970, damaged furniture.
4,0 Okay
Pros: The staff were very friendly and breakfast was great
Cons: I smelled mold and so much dust! Had to spray febreeze and clean the bathroom before staying. It looked like it was run down and never updated or touched.

Pros: Plentiful..eggs and potatoes were tasteless and over salted
5,0 Okay
Pros: Bed was clean and comfortable
Cons: The building was run down.
6,3 Good
Pros: Convenience to work site, easy to find. Accommodated my request for an interior courtyard room. Attached restaurant was a good value.
Cons: Television system was not user friendly, A/C system was fickle at times, Cleaning Staff did not check room security when finished, left Room door unsecured. Lobby had some serious odor issues, carpet in lobby and hallways was substandard.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very centrally located. Easily accessible from city centre. Staff is courteous. I reached early at the property but they accommodated an easily check in.
Cons: Breakfast spread could be better.

Pros: Very spacious & comfortable. It was just what we needed overall.
Cons: Limited kitchen items, no sharp knife for example or glasses, just plastic cups. Not enough chairs for the table.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Booked Nonsmoking room but ropom smelled like used to be smoking room, even so was tolerable for three night, esp at low rate.
4,6 Okay
Pros: They upgraded us for free b/c the first room was dirty.
Cons: Someone else was given.a room key of our room and woke us up at 2:am. We had to call the front manager and notify of incident. Thank goodness the morning manager offered to reimburse a full refund.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the Staff's attitude was incredible - the room was clean and neat and cleaned every day. The hotel is quiet and is a gem, honestly. Very affordable which is important since I travel into this area for business and pleasure several times a year. The restaurant's food is very nice - you should have a serious bartender and that would be special. I will definitely come back
Cons: The one thing that is frustrating is that the address shows as Independence Way, Princeton, NJ. However there is an Independence Way in downtown Princeton with a residence having the same number. You need to tell travelers with a GPS that the address is Independence Way, South Brunswick, NJ. And the front desk told me the hotel was across the street from Miele which I interpreted as being across Route 1 (so on the Southbound side) when the hotel is on the Northbound side across Independence way from Miele. A VERY big difference especially given the traffic on Route 1. One guest told me the breakfast is not good - I didn't have a chance to sample it at all as I was leaving for work before breakfast was served. A suggestion: perhaps you could have grab-n-go items for business people who have to be in their offices by 6 or 6:30.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: Breakfast, at least the coffee, was gone by 8:30am.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast sucked
Cons: lot of breakfast choices
5,0 Okay
Pros: Polite staff and good location. Supermarkets (trder joe’s, whole foods 5 Mn away), restaurants, shopping center close by.
Cons: We rented 2 rooms during our stay. 4 adults and 4 kids. There was only one battery in the remote control and we found some leftover Pringles chips and a pair of dirty socks under the bed. reported it to the staff, she was sorry about the situation. No hand soap in one of the room and a some hair in the bathtub. One of the room we rented smelled Like cigarettes, we had to ask for a febreze to try to cover the smell. AS soon as we opened the window, impossible to close it. Impossible to use one shelf for our stuff cause it was about to fall off the wall.
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice size room.
