The location was perfect, just across the street from the university. The rooms are spacious. The staff was nice and knowledgeable. The breakfast was good, specially the croissants.
The bathroom needs some updating, specially on the shower head and the noisy fan. I had one really bad experience in this stay, which I have to report. Someone from staff called for a cab for Princeton Station. The driver quickly arrived, and I told him that I was going to Princeton Station. After a reasonably long drive for such a short trip, I asked him if we were going to Princeton Station. He confirmed and said that the route had changed because of some road work. Actually he took me to Princeton Junction. It was very disconcerting, but I had a train to board. It would be interesting if the hotel manager checked the driver's identity so that he doesn't do that again.
The beds were super comfy and room was nice sized. The red room was a nice spot to sit by the fireplace.
The rooms /bathroom felt a bit dated , worn, and dark. Not horrible but a slight refresh would be welcome but not enough to stop staying.
Location... Location... Location... Right in the heart of Princeton with a convenient parking garage. Yankee Doodle Room downstairs is a convenient place to eat or drink. Easy place to stay... and enjoy the town.
Feels a little stuffy? But perfectly nice. Note - a 75 charge for dogs!
The location and the service were fantastic. Loved the restaurant, the Yankee Tap Room.
Nothing we didn't like.
