staff was rude did not like the attitude
The location was pretty good. A little outside of the "main" city area but we did not mind walking, plus there was a tram stop very close to the hotel. Also, we discovered our favorite restaurant, Zlaty Klas, which was very close to the hotel and we ate dinner there every day. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was AMAZING, very impressive! Many types of foods including an omelet station. Loved it! Also loved the funicular that went up to the second property as it was just fun to ride and go to the top. The hotel staff all spoke very good English and were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Just some small comfort details were my only issue. The bathroom towels for example, were extremely thin (I jokingly referred to them as "prison towels"). Clean, but just thin and kind of scratchy. This seems like a nice hotel to me so I would have expected more plush towels. Not a deal breaker certainly but I would have liked thicker towels. Also the room was so hot all the time! We kept trying to turn down the thermostat but we could not get any cool air. I've never been hotter in a colder place. We had to leave our balcony door open to let fresh, cold air in quite often so we could sleep. Again, not a deal breaker as it would not prevent me from staying there again.
Big room, perfect heating and ventilation Private cable-car to hill-top restaurant and belvedere
Small Blankets, not set on the bed as usual in western europe.
The ambiance and the set up- front desk staff very friendly and helped with taxis and ways around town!
