Best hotel in Italy on my trip
Outstanding views of the water and hillside if you have a sea view room
Not really an issue but lots of stairs to get to the hotel
Location not the best
The views are fantastic but that's because the hotel is way up the hill from the main town. The hotel is very nice. No complaints except maybe the breakfast could have been a bit more varied. Positano is fantastic. For me the best place in the area.
I see other reviewers are praising the location! For me it was not good. Apart from the 100 or so stairs you have to walk up it is probably almost a mile uphill from the main center before you reach the stairs.
Spectacular views. The "Terrace Rooms" are definitely worth the extra $. Beautiful restaurant. Outstanding breakfast with the option to add eggs/omlet for small charge. Very helpful staff. Parking available close by. Comfortable spacious rooms. All around great value.
120 steps from the street to the hotel desk. Not for those who have very limited mobility. (This is true for most of Positano). Porter will meet you at the parking area to bring your luggage.
The view from the hotel is really amazing.
The access to the hotel is difficult, there are too many ladders to get into it and also it is far from the beach/city center. To use the air conditioning, we had to pay 10EUR per day! The service at the jacuzzi area is not so good, we have asked for bruschetta and they brought it without knife and knappings. Further the bed and pillows were not confortable.
This is my second stay at the Conca d'Oro, and I will return again and again. The views are spectacular, the breakfast is ample, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Many excellent restaurants and charming shops are within easy walking distance along the winding road to the beach. The Hotel Conca d'Oro is a lovely retreat with large terraces and incredible views of Positano and the glistening bay below.
Hotel Conca d'Oro Positano is within an easy walk of Spa at Hotel Poseidon and features a Jacuzzi, free Wi-Fi and an outdoor pool. It also boasts a terrace with panoramic sea views.
The hotel has 42 rooms and has been recently refurbished. Airport transfers and babysitting/child services are available on request.
The rooms at Hotel Conca d'Oro Positano are elegant with facilities including a private bathroom. Honeymoon suites are also available.
The hotel's on-site eatery provides an ideal option for those wishing to dine in. In the evening, those staying at the property are welcome to enjoy a beverage in the bar. A wide choice of cafés and restaurants are also found in the area.
