The beds were super comfortable, there was a little fridge in the room which was a bonus. The air con was good, the room was very clean, and had a balcony. There was a notice to say we were not allowed to place towels etc over the balcony railings to dry though - which we ignored, as that was the only place to dry our beach stuff. The breakfast was continental - croissants, bread, jam were plentiful, plus coffee or tea. Nothing savoury though. The location was about 10 minutes brisk walk slightly uphill into the lovely town, then downhill the marina. Very uphill on the way back from the marina though! The only problem we had was booking in. We arrived at just after 14.00, and apparently booking in is only allowed between 14.00-19.00. When we knocked the door Madame the proprietaire basically told us to go away at first, and come back later. We stood in the car park (plenty of room for cars) wondering what to do, when she relented and called us in and gave us the key to our room. She was fine after that, and helpful. SO as long as you don't turn up at siesta time, all will be fine!
Everything else was good.
Nice staff, clean, well equipped room. City centre is 5 minutes away. Free parking was available.
Room was a bit too small. Beaches are only reachable by car.
Helpful staff and lovely croissants. Quick walk in to the old town and 15mins walk from the harbour. An unpretentious and straightforward hotel that was clean and comfortable, and just what we were looking for. Nice cat, too.
Bedroom had a safe, TV, desk, and a fridge but was rather small. I'd have preferred more space and fewer facilities.
Very good location, friendly owner and delicious home made marmelade with breakfast bread. Tidy and spacious room with good beds and pillows.
In general Porto-Vecchio is an over priced location (like the hole of the southern Corsica -> don't know why, because the the town itself leaves much to be desired...), and that reflects also in the hotel prices.
Clean. Nice and quiet Near to the bus stop for the free bus which goes round the town. Nice distance to the citadel Friendly receptionist
