Pros: Friendly people. Take the main road up if you’re in a large vehicle.

Pros: The villa and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and generous. Staff are attentive and friendly.

Cons: The villa is located in a residential suburb requiring vehicular transportation for everything - food and visits to Pompeii.

Pros: Staff were very friendly. Even drove us into town in the morning. Room was clean and fairly comfortable. Air con was good and very spacious balcony with a view of Mount Vesuvius and we could just see the sea. Felt very secure at night as there was a large electric gate we had the fob to get in and out with.

Cons: Maybe a little far out of town for a comfortable walk (35 minutes walk to ruins). However owner made up for that by taking us in to Pompei twice. Bathroom slightly dated.

Pros: The location is very nice, you can see the Vezuv Volcano right from the backyard. The host is very nice and friendly.

Pros: He was so kind and professional to host. We really enjoyed our stay and loved it. We definately recommend to stay here if you visit to Pompei

Pros: The owner Pasquele is terrific. He picked us up upon arrival, offered us drinks and made sure we were comfortable the entire visit. I will come back again one day.

Pros: Well situated to visit sites of Pompei and Vesuvius. Quaint and very comfortable establishment with very friendly owner who is passionate about his Villa and about the region of Naples. Good breakfast and pleasant outdoor seating areas. Safe and secure gated property. It was a pleasure to stay at Villa Julia.

Cons: The single rooms are a little on the compact side but adequate for one person. This in no way impacted on satisfaction with my stay.

Pros: We lovedeEverything about this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to help my friend and I as we were only staying at the hotel for a short stay. They were lovely, helpful and the location of the hotel is a 2min walk from Pompei train station, and approx 20minute walk to the Pompei Archaeological site, all very easy to navigate around Pompei. The hotel staff even gave us recommendations on where to eat for dinner and allowed us to leave our bags so we could check out early and do another day tour. The breakfast had a great selection also.

Pros: Extremely nice, helpful, and friendly staff. Staff positive attitude to hotel guests is really exceptional there. Very clean and very nice atmosphere. I strongly recommend Diana hotel for visiting not only Pompei and Vezuvius, but also Napoli. When you will visit Pompei you will be able to compare clean, attractive, and friendly Pompei and Diana hotel with situation in Napoli. Napoli is very interesting for visit but I strongly recommend not to stay there but in Diana hotel im Pompei. Napoly is just 25-30 minutes from Napoli cetral station by train.

Pros: The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. They had no hesitation in preparing a full days schedule for a tour of the Amalfi Coast.

Pros: We booked only one night and stayed for 3 nights :-) very nice hotel staff, perfect location in Pompei town centre, very clean, safe parking, internet ...

Pros: The helpfulness of the staff, the beautiful courtyard gardens, secure car parking, in all a really good experience. I very rarely rate anything as excellent but this hotel is really close to being so.

Cons: There was less sound insulation from adjacent rooms than I would have like, although the occupants were not particularly noisey.

Pros: I thought the Reception Staff were very friendly & helpful, they did all they could to make our stay enjoyable.

Pros: The very kind and warm personell, the beautiful garden. We felt at home immediately. Just like we were part of the family.

Cons: We stayed in a triple room and It’s a bit small for a family of 4 (3yrs and 1 yr).

We also return because the hotel is located near the motorway and we were able to arrive to Naples and Sorrento without going crazy to find your way. Very good.

Pros: The personnel was very kind and helpful. The internet connection in the room was free and worked very well all the time. The breakfast was ok. The hotel was peaceful with a little garden. About 1 km to the Pompei scaves. The receptionist took us to the railway station when we left the hotel without asking it, very kind! (And I forgot tip...)

Cons: Cheese and ham were in warm plate during the breakfast time and seemed nothing but fresh.

Cons: There was a small wasp nest outside our balcony window.The elderly gentleman who seemed to not want to be bothered was a bit hesitant to help us but after we insisted he did organize it to be removed.

Pros: Great location, just below entrance to the Pompeii Ruins entrance. It is right by the Autostrada on and off ramp. easy to get to. This Hotel is a classic Grand Hotel from the turn of the century. It has all modern amenities, but kept the splendor of its time. Parking is available. The staff are GREAT. Breakfast has "everything" (omelets, cereals, sweets, cold cuts, breads, cheeses, juices , coffee etc. and it is delicious. The restaurant is also great. In the midst of souvenir shops. Used a lot by groups.

Cons: No tub. Maybe the shower stall in the bathroom was a bit too small, but not much to complain about.

Cons: The same breakfast every day! A cup of cappuccino with a dry croissant and some Marmelade. Thus should not be advertised as a breakfast. Luckily a McDonalds is nearby.

Pros: For cheap accommodation the room was a decent size, there was free parking across the road and the breakfast while basic was nice.

Cons: Room 14, the bed was made up of 2 singles pushed together the mattress closest to the door was firm while the other had no support at all. Both my husband and I woke with sore backs. The aircon also leaked, dripping constantly beside the wardrobe.

Cons: Had to change rooms due to an awful smell coming from the bathroom. The air conditioning was leaking and had been for some time as was apparent by the marks on the wall beneath. Bathroom not that clean.

Pros: Do not expect a luxury hotel but the value for money is good. The garden and our room was very big. Walking distance to Pompei.

Cons: The location is not great. It is close to the archeological site but there are no restaurants nearby and the area looks a little bit unsafe.

Pros: The staff were very helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable and breakfast was outside. Was a very nice atmosphere. Location is just perfect for Pompeii as it is 15 mins from the ruins.

Cons: The matress was awfull, and there were no blinds, so as soon as the sun came up it was impossible to sleep.

Cons: When we arrived we were taken to a room, I then noticed that there were ants all in the shower! So we complained and were moved to another room! However ants do seem to be a problem throughout the hotel with them running up the walls and all on the floor within the hotel. Within the room the curtains are rubbish and let a lot of light in the mornings which did awake us. Location wise it is not good unless you have a car! To walk to any restaurants it feels quite unsafe and dangerous walking right on a road. Plus the area is very run down and quiet. Myself and my partner were meant to stay for 3 nights but for the second night we decided to stay in Pompeii as we didn’t have a car and as I said it doesn’t feel safe walking the area. The third night we were back as we’d already arranged to rent a car which is the only reason we returned to the hotel.

Cons: On the first night it was late when I arrived & the Air con was not working Also an electrical plug looked very unsafe ! I reported all in the am & given a change of room which was very comfortable
