Room size and comfort. Improvement is needed in amenities, customer service, and cleanliness of the room. There were dirty areas in the bathroom that were not properly cleaned. The front desk staff needs additional training in hospitality.

Pros (+) The location of the hotel was perfect for returning rental car, touring in the day, and a free shuttle to the airport. Rooms were spacious, clean, and the bed and pillow comfortable. Slept great, very quiet. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Pros (+) The only things redeeming about this property are the free parking, free breakfast and warm cookies.
Cons (-) This hotel is dingy, rundown, and desperately needs renovation. The room doors are also not within a closed building. This Double Tree is nothing like any of the ones we've used in the past. Save your money and look for a cleaner, safer and nicer overall property.

Pros (+) It was a wonderful hotel, great breakfast, comfy room, and friendly staff.
Cons (-) I was traveling alone and my room was on the 5th floor quite a distance from the office and a little hike through the foliage and pool area. Even from the parking lot entrance, closest to the elevator I needed to take, I had to travel down a dark walk area by the laundry. I didn't feel unsafe but it could be a recipe for disaster. I checked in after dark and the lighting is limited around the pool...
