Pros: The room was lovely (rm 135); they upgraded us to a suite. The decor was old fashioned but pretty, the living area had a red velvet couch and drapes. The bedroom was a bit more modern and neutral. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had two sinks. It even had a shower plus a tub/shower! The staff were all terrific and so was the breakfast and coffee. I would certainly stay again if I ever get back to Perugia.

There were a lot of us staying and at breakfast Stefano gave us a big round table and kept re-setting places as people came in and out so that we could all have some fun with my six month old daughter. Stefano was just lovely, he went above and beyond, and made this the best part of our stay!

Pros: The room was much smaller than expected and the bathroom was so small that the bidet blocked its full entry. I choose the 5 star hotel as I travelled with my cat and I wanted him to have space. For the price that I paid I am suprised breakfast was not included. So, a 5 star hotel is the best of the best but the toilet paper was of poor quality and I had just 1 roll. No ashtray, no toothbrush: all of these things I expect from 5 star. I will say that the lication is beautiful and the staff were nice and the cleaning lady not only was nice to my cat but saved me leaving witjout my phone. With all that said, what you advertise on booking.com is soooo different from reality. Perugia Plaza gave me a better service for a fraction of the price - and the pool was bigger. The pool here is for newborns and kids. Sorry - not impressed at all.

Pros: Great location, very quiet, but still very close to centre of mediaeval city. Breakfast was OK, but coffee/tea/ all from one single machine so frequently a queue, and coffee average at best. Room itself was good, with two bathrooms (one with shower/loo/bidet, other with loo/bidet), and 14th/15th century original mural (remains of) on our corbelled ceiling. Only problem with noise was a balcony outside our window and noisy people shouting into their mobiles early in the morning - why oh why must they do that! The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful whenever asked - and there was always someone on duty on the front desk.

We liked the fact that there was a bus stop across the street to take us up to town since the hotel in located down the mountain and a long steep walk up if one is new and not familiar with the escalators....as we were until we discovered them...but then there is still a walk up from the hotel if you don't take the bus or find parking up top. Pros: Loved the chocolate themed hotel, the swimming pool is a lovely extra. Breakfast exceeded expectation for an Italian hotel and the quality of service is good throughout. The hotel is air conditioned throughout too, which due to the heath was so welcome! Location is good as the centre is easily reached with public transport virtually on the doorstep, plus the hotel has parking included which is an added bonus. Lovely big room and high standard of decor and cleanliness.

Pros: The swimming pool was great! We liked the fact that there was a bus stop across the street to take us up to town since the hotel in located down the mountain and a long steep walk up if one is new and not familiar with the escalators....as we were until we discovered them...but then there is still a walk up from the hotel if you don't take the bus or find parking up top. We slept very well.
Cons: Although our room was comfortable and parking out front was convenient, we thought the hotel itself and its chocolate theme was a little cheesy and cheap and did not really reflect the quality of the region's famous chocolate. The chocolate offerings at breakfast were really not appetizing, nor would they have been for dessert in the evening. We felt like we were in a low-budget, sepia version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, without the colorful mix of characters. Nonetheless we slept very well and would recommend the place for families and budget travelers looking for a convenient place to stay

The hotel is air conditioned throughout too, which due to the heath was so welcome! Pros: The location was perfect and the owners/ hosts were friendly and helpful with tourist advice. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: While the sheets and towels were very clean, there was a lot of thick, grimy dust above eye level, for instance, on a pull cord above the shower. The ivory coloured telephone was grimy. The soap caddy in the shower was absolutely filthy and way too high to be useful. There was no mattress pad. A deep clean would ave only taken a few hours once a month. The owners need to inspect the housekeeper’s work more closely. There was a fan, not air conditioning.

Cons: The carpet was worn and stained, felt a bit dusty (perhaps from the carpet) in room 27. On a Thursday night music was blasting very loudly from the center of town until past 3 am. Hard to get a good night sleep with the noise. Had to keep windows open to the noise since no A/C was in my room and room air was humid with stale. Check out at 11am, I overslept due to finally falling asleep after 3am.

Cons: There was no Air Conditioning, the room was very small and could have been cleaner with bath sheets not towels. The hotel was a very dated place with threads bare carpets and we had a poor bathroom all in desperate need of restoration. Our stay was with 26 students so the staff flexibility was limited and we were warned we may need to take our breakfast about 7:30. Would we stay there again or recommend any friends, sadly the answer has to be NO.

Pros: Hotel Priori is just two minutes walk from Pjazza IV Novembre which is at the heart of Perugia's city centre, so the location is fantastic. The staff are all very helpful and make you welcome to Hotel Priori. The view from our room on the 2nd floor, which overlooked the lovely breakfast terrace, was simply something to look forward to every morning, with rolling green hills and distant mountain views. And the stillness, the quietness in the locality of this hotel is something which I really appreciated. Breakfast is good in general except that the bread was not always that fresh. A good choice of items for a continental b'fast and bacon and eggs can be done on request, good coffee machine and various herbal teas available. The room was comfortable, clean and was serviced every day. All in all we loved our stay at Hotel Priori and would book it again for our next visit to Perugia.

The staff were very good at moving us to another room at the back of hotel overlooking the courtyard (where you can eat breakfast) and a view. We did not hear any more noise from the bar when walking home all the time there, three nights. Breakfast was good and if uou asked you coukd have scrambled eggsand bacon, we chose not to but good to know it is available. The rooms comfortable and clean, staff very helpful.

Cons: The room was very small and dark, and you have to completely turn off power to switch off the lights. No charging your phone at night! In addition, I was a little surprised to hear that I had to leave the key at the reception every time i left my room.
