everything. this is no boutique. more a charity shop. dirty..dusty.found .vomit in toilet. ....new room...dirty dusty. awful experience .extremely overpriced.
The hotel wasn't far from the motorway and easy to find. We were late to arrive because of the 50mph limits on most of the M6. The hotel (bar/restaurant with rooms) rang to say they were about to close but we were only 2 minutes away so the Manager (?) waited for us, checked us in, poured us a drink to take to our room (very thankful for that) and then left. Room was very comfortable.
The staff were really friendly and the room was lovely. The breakfast was yummy, and fantastic location right in the centre of Penrith
Excellent place to stay, central to every where, book early if you want it for specific dates as we do for the winter droving, you get a fabulous breakfast, you can eat in there or plenty of places to eat and drink nearby
Clean comfortable room and bathroom.
Only problem, no 24 hour reception. Unable to get an invoice when I left. I guess I should have asked for it the night before.
