Overview

The Paris Hotels Sofitel Paris le Faubourg is located between elegant Faubourg Saint-Honore and Champs-Elysees Avenue in the heart of Paris, France. The hotel is set in two private mansions from the 18th and 19th century and is located 10 miles from Orly Field and 14 miles from Charles De Gaulle Airport. This luxury establishment features 147 air-conditioned, non-smoking guestrooms designed by Didier Gomez.

Each guestroom and suite at the hotel is filled with Parisian elegance. There are several rooms and suites to choose from, each of which includes high-speed wireless Internet, Bose sound systems with an iPod dock, a safe, and complimentary mineral water. An LED television with satellite channels is provided along with a bathtub, separate shower, kettle, espresso machine, and a mini-bar. Suites offer additional space, work desks and chairs, and dressing rooms.

There is a restaurant and a bar on-site at Sofitel Paris le Faubourg. Blossom offers meals near a garden with vegetable-centric dishes, gourmet desserts, and cocktails. Bar Du Faubourg is outfitted in browns and gold with an inspired cocktail menu and bar snacks like truffle and parmesan salami and mini-cheeseburgers. There are also many other restaurants near the hotel including Buddha Bar, Farnesina, Maxim’s, and Bread and Roses.

There is a fitness center at the hotel with a special relaxation area. Sports coaches are also available to help guests create a Fit&Go program. Guests looking for relaxation can try the Experience shower with tailored lights and fragrances. The concierge at the hotel is also happy to reserve massages for guests.

Pros (+) beautiful understated furnishings. Quiet, comfortable. Great location.
Cons (-) Service staff arrive unannouced and just open the door asking if you need service. If I want service, I'll ask for it. Otherwise, just come in the one time during the day to clean the room. Thought this was annoying, Made me constantly hang the do not disturb sign on the door, which I'm not accustomed to doing.
