Friendly staff and generous breakfast. My room was quiet and comfortable. The place was very clean. Sacre Coeur was a 10 minute walk away.
The bathroom was tiny!
Room was great bed was also good. The Hotels is pretty clean with the exception of the bathroom smell. great location for transport, food and site seeing. The room was quiet and the staff were ok.
I had to keep the window open as the smell of sewage was constant in the bathroom. The breakfast was just a basket of breads not worth 12 Euro when I could go and get a fresh Orange Juive and sandwich just across the street for 8 Euro.
Maybe just the location.
Where do I start ? 1. We requested check in 9-10am via email and also booking.com. We arrived at 9:20am and we were not allowed into the room and asked to come back at 2:30pm. We asked if we can have at least have breakfast (coffee and croissant) he said just yes but see below 2. When we came back at 2:30 for check in he said we have to pay 40 euro deposit which was not mentioned on booking.com policy or their page on booking.com. He also said that we had to pay for our breakfast which he did not even say we had to pay for in the morning he just said yes. Had we known that we had to pay we would of had breakfast somewhere else which did not consist of just croissant and coffee, he did not tell us we had to pay so it was shocking he asked us to pay after we ate and after 5 hours. 3. At the the time of booking as a special request and during check in we asked if we can have a nice room as it was my birthday. When we went up to our room, the room was very old, it smelt of chlorine every single day (5 days in total) You can not close the toilet door as it’s very small and your knee blocked the door so we had to keep the door open when using it. The shower was just so bad and smelly. There was no shampoo but shower gel which was not labelled properly so I initially washed my hair with shower gel and it was all gritty. The hair dryer had a hole in the spring and was broken. The headboard of the bed was ripped. The sheets were never changed since our 5 days as we could see from the marks on the sheets. 4. The breakfast was the same everyday. There is no buffet it’s literally a plate ready made on the table for you which consists of crossaint bread and coffee and juice . There is no water. We had to ask for water which she filled infront of us at the sink. We had the same breakfast everyday. 5. Staff don’t know how to speak English, or they know but won’t speak English. 6.
Room was pretty basic but the guy at the reception was very friendly and helpful
The only thing I liked was the location of the hotel. There was nothing else positive.
This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It claims to be 3 stars but that's impossible, it would be lucky to be 1 star. The bedroom is not like in the pictures, it is tiny. The bathroom is also tiny measuring approximately 1.5m by 0.5m. The shower is dirty with curtains. The building's infrastructure is so poor and the walls extremely thin. I can hear the conversations on the rooms next door, I can hear the footsteps upstairs, I can hear everytime someone uses the toilet and I can even hear the water falling/being used. The doors are all squeeky and need oil and it seems like every room (including my room) needs to force shut the door with a bang in order to close. The heating is on all day and night (on max) and given the room size, I had to sleep with the window open because it was unbearably hot. When I spoke to reception to switch it off they said that there was nothing they could do. They claim to be soundproof but everything is poor. When there was too much noise outside (at 6am someone was working outside) I shut the window only to still be able to hear them. The smell of someone smoking still came into the room weather it was from the window or from the room next door. The hotel staff are extremely rude. During my stay I saw around 3 or 4 different hotel receptionists and all were rude, and to top it up they are thieves, they kept my hotel deposit and blatantly lied to my face. Extremely arrogant staff. I am extremely disatisfied with this hotel as I couldn't sleep at all with all the noise around me. And if you can't have a good night of sleep, then you won't have enough energy for the rest of the day. The only good thing about this hotel is its location. I honestly ask you not to stay in this hotel and it has been a complete waste of my money and has ruined my holiday in Paris. I also ask the authorities to re-evaluate this hotel because they shouldn't even be considered a hotel given how bad the conditions are.
