The Hampton Inn & Suites is adjacent to Binghamton University on Route 434 and just a few minutes from downtown Binghamton and new Pharmaceutical School. Easy access to UHS and Lourdes Hospitals along with their auxiliary campuses. Near all major corporations: IBM, Huron Campus in Endicott, NYSEG, BAE, Lockheed, Universal Instruments and Dick's Sporting Goods. Close to sporting venues such as Sportsplex 434, Greater Binghamton Sports Complex, The Floyd L. Manes Arena and Grippen Park. The hotel sits on top of the hill just off the Vestal Parkway, Route 434. Guests select from our standard king or two queen bed rooms or our two-room suites with a separate sleeping area. Suites offer a seating area with pull-out sofa, coffee table and reading chairs. All guest rooms have refrigerator, microwave, HDTV, coffee maker, iron/ironing board and hair dryer. Guests enjoy Full American Breakfast provided daily and our Wednesday evening manager's reception. Our indoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, business center and beverage center are available to all guests. WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The seasonal patio is available from May through September and offers a tranquil retreat for guests. Our 500 square foot meeting room accommodates up to 25 in classroom seating or 35 in theater seating. Our hotel participates in Hilton Honors program.

Pros: Great location. Very quiet. Friendly staff. Clean breakfast area. Indoor pool was an added bonus. You can open the windows to get fresh air and hear the birds chirping in the woods out back.
Cons: I did find 2 hairs on the wall of the shower but I guess its hard to make sure every little hair is cleaned away. Even with that I would consider the room to be very clean.

Cons: I stay in a lot of smoking rooms and this one STANK. Also, housekeeping came in and made my bed but did not empty ashtrays or take out the trash. Since this room has a kitchen, there was food in the trashcan. It would have been nice to have it emptied.

Pros: Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was very welcoming and also sympathetic, as we were in town for my mother's funeral service. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a wide variety of choices. The hostess was very pleasant and did an exceptional job of monitoring the buffet and offering assistance, as needed.

Cons: The bed claimed to be a Queen but was smaller than a Queen and sagged in the middle which made sleeping uncomfortable. There were no extra blankets in the room. The hotel was hard to find being that it was off a very dark service road.

Pros: How it has a kitchen with all the appliances and how it felt more like a "residence" instead of a room. Great amenities as well as a staff. They so had a vatiety of breakfast items that were fresh and yummy. Would definitely come back and recommend it.

Pros: Very clean, extremely roomy and spacious. Fabulous location central and close to shops, University, etc. Huge breakfast buffet and overall very convenient, well-priced hotel.
Cons: I only wish I would have gotten the room with a fireplace since it was snowing. Other than that, the room I did get was super spacious, huge full size kitchen, just nothing to complain about. The bed was very comfortable as well.

Cons: No cleaning service and nobody at the front desk during the day. Refrigerator could not be used due to strong, rotten odor. Requests to have it cleaned were ignored.

Pros: Nothing! Arrived at hotel at 11:45 PM 11/28. Could not enter lobby as it was locked. Tried calling front desk for 25 minutes as no one answered or was visibly at desk. Called my brother at midnight who was in another room to come down and let us in.
Cons: See above. Manager finally woke up (he admitted he was sleeping). When I asked him for an adjustment on bill he told me that he could give me 10%, when I said that was un-satifactory he said I was just looking for money. Terrible!

Cons: Extremely noisy with the traffic on vestal parkway. It sure it would have been quieter, but If we would have known how noisy it would be all night long, we would have asked for a room on back side of hotel or not booked a room at that location. Windows need to be sound proofed. Bathroom was not clean when we arrived.

Cons: When I walked in to check in, I was “greeted” with (rudely) “If you’re checking in I need your ID & credit card” (she wasn’t even behind the desk yet. Some guy was wandering around with pizza, eating in the back. The next day our room was never cleaned, we wanted clean towels, we had to go to the desk & get some because housekeeping never showed up to our room. A decent hotel for the price we paid, but definitely was treated like an inconvenience NOT a guest.
