Best staff ever
During my five night stay, every single staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and polite, and unbelievably helpful. I've never been to any business, hotel or otherwise, where the staff have been so good. The room had beautiful wall to wall and floor to ceiling windows. It was always very quiet. The AC worked like a charm, which was great bevause it was 30 degrees outside most days we were there. The gym and pool were nice. On Canada Day the hotel let all the guests onto the top floors, which have a 360 degree view of the city, so we could watch the fireworks.
Not many complaints. There was no microwave in the room and the ice machine was located on the floor below mine. It wasn't as close to the downtown action as some of the other hotels, but it wasn't too far out of the way either.
