9,6 Excellent
Pros: It was in a good location. The Onsen was stunning. The staff changed my room with no issues when I realised I booked a smoking room by mistake.
Cons: The pillows were so hard and it would be nice if there wasn’t discrimination against tattoos in the Onsen towards guests. But I know that’s cultural.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice spa, clean and spacious rooms, next to the small ski resort.
Cons: They seem to have guests from outside in the spa, which makes it a bit full, but still not crowded. Breakfast was okay, although many of their Japanese dishes were overly sweet and a bit pricey if you buy it separately (bit over 2000 Yen).
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Out side hot spring is so nice!
Cons: Restaurant in front of the front desk is dark. I had dinner with my family.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very sufficient lighting inside room. I am able to adjust the lighting in each part of the room easily.
Cons: The unsecured Free wifi doesn’t work at room.
7,9 Good
Pros: Staffs are reasonably professional. They acted somewhat after we complained about the kids running above our suite.
Cons: We thought it's worth to pay top dollar (I mean $750/night is not cheap by any standard) for close enough ski hotel. All went well until the loud kids were running and shouting between private osen rooms. Then it's the disappointing dinner menu. It was nowhere near the $300-500/night osen standard. I get the extra dollar for private view, but didn't I just say it was ruined already?
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing spread of Japanese foods for breakfast. Comfortable 3 bed plus sofa-bed for four people. Great onsen, swimming pool and sporting facilities. Free parking and wifi.

Cons: Their main restaurant required reservation - we didnt know this on our first night & we had to wait for an hour before we could be seated. Hotel has limited number of dining places & is quite far from other reataurants.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, onsen in the room was excellent. Free shuttle to hotel from the station.
Cons: Hotel is dated, needs refurbishing. Dinner at night was mediocre.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Set in a beautiful ocean side, grand decoration, exceptional services from staff. We had a ocean view room, it was absolutely incredible. The decoration in our rooms was grand, like some posh families in the victorian times. The ocean view was absolutely spectacular, not to mention the private bath. Staff was attentive and polite, really second to none, only in Japan. Transportation is good, but you do need to plan ahead booking the shuttle from the station to the hotel.
Cons: Nothing, but if I had to be picky, the lighting could be brighter.
7,5 Good
Pros: Ocean view room. Amazing vantage point for ocean & distant mountains. Could see birds & possibly sea lions, needed binoculars. Enjoyable set dinner & breakfast. Excellent service. Nice public bathing as well as private bath in room. Was able to open the bath sliding window once the snow outside was loosened with warmth from inside. Music & lights controlled from massive over king size bed. Hotel is aged (outdoors) Indoors would have been very lux in its day, still a great experience.
Cons: Location only good for Aquarium in the winter, did a little of the nature walk in the snow. However shuttle service is available & it’s about being in the hotel. Had we known there were spa services, might have arrived at check in time.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room are a Bit old, but everything is working and clean. The 5 course french dinner which is optional did Wow us with excellent waiters and tasty food. Best of all were the private onsen overlooking the liighthouse n the sea Llml
10,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
6,7 Good
Pros: The view of the sea and Otaru
Cons: Perhaps the counter staff can be more helpful. I was speaking to a staff with difficulty understanding English. As there were another staff which seems understand English better. She should help her out rather just watching me talking to her in difficulty.
