Pros: The facilities were great and the staff amazing. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Nothing.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff service was excellent
Cons: Too pricey
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was perfect, staff awesome and swimming pool so beautiful. I enjoyed my staying from A to Z. Many thanks!
Cons: Location is a bit remote, and you need a car if you want to go to the beach or take the hotel shuttle which is very convenient.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location ideally located in tropical forest and a nice view on the sea above. The facilities...
Cons: We should stay longer...
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The property is lush and beautiful. The club is laid out well and the staff, although the language barrier is there, they are super helpful and willing to help with everything. I do believe the facilities need to be updated a bit as the reclining chair cushions were really rough and in need of repair, didn't expect to see that at a 5 star hotel. We did use the spa which was lovely but preferred our space experience at the Ritz down the street.
Cons: Needs to be renovated. Time to replace the cushions on the exterior lounge chairs as well as upgrade the rooms a bit. I also wished there were international channels. Sadly only local TV.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing room. Club lounge selection of drinks and finger food. Beautiful infinity pool with sea view. Dinner at the Japanese restaurant was very good and chef Watanabe made this teppanyaki experience a memorable one
Cons: Breakfast (we had the western one) could be better (more choice)
6,7 Good
Pros: Very spacious room, with good views
Cons: There is a lot of staff always available to help, but speak poor english. The hotel is clearly not used to receiving western tourists, and is also quite expensive in "extras".. Such as the private transportation from the airport, to which there is no easy alternative, and the local restaurants.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Our room was amazing, absolutely huge and really comfortable with a lovely balcony. We chose a suite with a sea view. The hotel is so close to the beach, with a great pool and in walking distance of a couple of great restaurants.
Cons: The slight downside is the limited public transport to nearby sights, however we hired a car for two days from the rental Nissan in Onna which was perfect. Breakfast was adequate but may not suit all tastes.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Room is spacious, clean and equipped with a wide range of amenities like kettle, cooker, washing machine etc... Staff is helpful and efficient, but some of them only speak limited English. Breakfast at Japanese restaurant is good and menu is changed every 3 days. Definitely a good choice for families.
Cons: Western breakfast could be improved with a wide variety of food
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet was great! Clean facilities at the Annex.
Cons: Recommend a car to explore.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Emmm...the BBQ dinner at Blue restaurant and the Japanese breakfast in the same place
Cons: Many things...why do they put two beds in the living room of a suite?!

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Coin operated laundromat is always a plus when staying with kids at a beach resort.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The facilities and its location on the beach
Cons: The price of food and drinks and especially when you buy a Buffet dinner and the juices in the Buffet are extra price. Everything on offer in the buffet should be included.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is very nice with good facilities and great views, right on the beach. Staff are also very helpful and it's a good location in the middle of Okinawa and great base to see the whole Island.
Cons: It's about 40mins from Naha by car, in Okinawa you need to rent a car to get around, that's a given. But the hotel charges you 500 Yen per day for parking. I wasn't aware of this when I booked. Also had the Christmas Buffet dinner, it was average.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Xmas lights along drive way is great, service is up to standard, breakfast and car parking are good (not a far walk from the car park to the hotel entry)
Cons: Older style/design of the hotel but still comfortable.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We love everything about this hotel. Will definitely come back again soon.
Cons: None
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location midway of Okinawa island, so to travel up further north and back pretty convenient and reduce driving time..
10,0 Excellent
Pros: BEAUTIFUL BEACH. Love this hotel!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast spread is good. The hotel has a unique facade and the interior is very well decorated. There are 2 10-minute light show every night during this season.
Cons: Most facilities are chargeable including the pool and gym.

Overview Reviews
Located in Onna, Rizzan Sea-Park Hotel Tancha-Bay is by the ocean, a 1-minute drive from Tiger Beach and 9 minutes from Nakadomari Site. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Limited parking is available onsite.
7,9 Good
Pros: Located right on the beach, we had everything right there and no need to leave the resort except for walks along the beach and to escape the thousands of small children.
Cons: This was definitely geared towards young families. No bar open for a sunset drink, and the beach was closed for swimming even though the weather was nice. Obviously a seasonal thing and must be because there was no lifeguard. Also all of the water sports are really expensive because they all include a guide. I would have liked to hire a double kayak for my wife and I but didn’t want our hands to be held. Also this hotel is a long way from the airport.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff and environment. Take care from staff and helping. The room clean. have a lot activities (for winter will close some activities). Overall is perfect. I went to this hotel 2 or 3 times per year. I recommend.
Cons: A little bit far from the main town (Naha). Must rent the car to this hotel. but it is not to consider because overall is great. Sometime can hear the noise in the outside of the room but if choose the quite zone that is perfect.
5,7 Okay
Pros: The food was ok.
Cons: Beds sucked bad! Wife also woke up with many big bites.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staffs are friendly and helpful. Beautiful beach.
Cons: The room is old and dim.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are really good and friendly for little kid.
Cons: I almost slept at the lobby while a staff saw it and not even came to me and provided any help.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: A very pleasant stay. The room is clean and spacious with breathtaking sea view. Staff were courteous and helpful. The buffet breakfast offers both western and Japanese food. My first choice in Okinawa and will definitely come again.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: If you don't wish to clean the room, you get vouchers. And you can use the vouchers in shops, bars etc. in the hotel. I used them for onsen. (Great onsen also with Finnish sauna).
Cons: Some rooms are for smokers and I didn't like the smell on corridors. The room has no ceiling light, only table lamps.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and many facilities/activities. Breakfast is awesome and staff are friendly. Big rooms with great view
Cons: -
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and the rooms are big. The facilities are comprehensive. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

7,0 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful location and the staff was exceptional.
Cons: The room wasn’t the cleanest and there were visible stains on the floors of the tatami and on the curtain after putting it down for the evening. With that being said, the bed was clean so that’s all that matters I suppose.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Japanese style breakfast is unique.
Cons: Facilities are old, though they renew the hotel years before. You still can see many hints of the 80”s when the hotel was built. With this price, there are a lot of better choices and worldwide brands around. In the nowadays competion, nothing surprise me at this price range.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The view was incredible and the breakfast spread was good too. The rooms were huge and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
8,3 Excellent
Cons: For the price of the hotel, should have included a continental breakfast.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location to beach is good. Breakfast was nice.
Cons: Room is very dated, like in the 80s. Amenities were not great as these are all small sample sizes which contributes to too much plastic waste.
Hotel Moon Beach - Onna - Building

8,4 Excellent (3 512 reviews)
R2 046+
Overview Reviews
Located in Onna, Hotel Moon Beach is by the ocean, within a 15-minute drive of Cape Maeda and Blue Cave. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Located near a gorgeous beach. Breakfast was good as had Asian and western choices.
Cons: Didn’t like smoke from other units when sitting on balcony. Some parts of property was dated.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, many local restaurants around Twin bed room with stunning ocean view, especially during sunset Nice private beach with marine activities Inside pool in semi-open air Public bath
Cons: Hotel is a bit old and needs to be renovated Extra payment for umbrella, beach beds and even for towels No bottled water / no water cooler on the floor
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful despite occasional language barriers. Japanese people take such pride in doing an excellent job and being over the top polite. When we decided from jump to immediately change to an ocean view room it was not a problem and the upcharge was immediately explained and agreed to. Definitely get the room rate that includes breakfast! The breakfast spread was off the chain! The Japanese options were most abundant but they also had omelettes made to order, cold cereal choices, waffles, and even some pasta with sauces. Plus all kinds of beverages, fruits, and coffees! Also the spa/bath was so worth it! You pay once and can enjoy the bath each day of your stay. There's all kinds of etiquette around proper use of the bath but it's all explained in the changing area. Definitely a must to relax before going to bed!
Cons: The hotel was clearly designed in a different era but that nostalgic quality and the lush greenery and bougainvillea everywhere will certainly remind you of Hawaii! In fact they've got Hawaiian music piping all day!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Comes with a beautiful and private beach! The hotel itself is beautiful with lots of Instagrammable areas. If you can, rent an "ocean view" room as the "mountain view" rooms were nothing to write home about. Bathroom in the rooms was very clean! Staff were friendly.
Cons: The rooms are outdated and old which is a huge contrast to the modern vibe of the hotel. Also, the staff did not inform us of the pool and only told us about additional amenities we had to pay for (public spa and breakfast/lunch/dinner options). The pool was open only until 9pm and we did not realize it until it had already closed. I wish they had told us earlier so we could have gone in. Make sure to check it out before it closes.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Quiet area
Cons: Lack of staff around the hotel. Don’t feel the warm from the staffs, everyone is busy. Maybe they r not confident in speaking English and that’s why everyone “avoid” to contact us?
8,0 Excellent
Pros: - Convenient to find, although I lived in the town for many years, so finding it was no issue. - They are a lot of restaurants around. - They have several parking lots and the hotel is really quiet.
Cons: - The air conditioning system dates from the early 80's. It was not possible to set up the temperature accurately, but it is a minor issue in November.

Pros: I loved the cute design and the staff were very friendly and nice. I also liked the restaurant downstairs. Very good food for good price!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Room & building design, hotel staff & boss very very friendly, helpful and great response, nice & delicious restaurant, big room space, nice sea view from balcony, near by diving snorkelling activities area, with parking
Cons: Wi-fi connection not working well sometime, convenient to reach if drive by own
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It's really a designer's building! The rooms are with different shapes and interiors, and sea-view balcony. They don't provide breakfast, but they do run a great dining place for dinner to midnight! Very good local and home-made dish! Local people also go there for gethering. 300 meters to the bus stop.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good location, 2 bus stop to Moon beach, 1 bus stop to many restaurants and walking distant to 24hr Sea side Drive-in. Huge bath room which is rare in Japan.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and quirky design inn that looks like it’s straight out of a storybook. I stayed in a twin room that was clean and comfortable. The shower and toilet were in an outdoor balcony which can feel rather hot and musty compared to the cold bedroom. The staff was welcoming. Plenty of eateries and two convenience stores nearby. I would stay here again, very value for money.
Cons: It can get warm at the outdoor shower.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: - Good location, short walk to moon beach - Staff were friendly - Late checkin - All facilities that you need - Clean towels everyday

3,8 Mediocre
Cons: Can’t accept cockroaches running in room Staff very poor in English....
6,7 Good
Pros: Pool, big lobby, big areas. Everything nice except the rooms. Nice breakfast too
Cons: Rooms are a little bit old and not clean. Bathroom its bad. Very expensive for what it is
5,0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was average in terms of quality but acceptable in terms of variety. They had a live station for omelettes. Sausages were good. Had a few activities for children but again language would have been an issue.
Cons: They could have offered butter instead of margarine. Coffee was a little off but pretty much the case throughout coffees at other hotels. Temperature was very suitable for outdoor swimming and they should have kept the swimming pool open. Very clear the property has aged but not gracefully. Could have offered more international TV Channels.
7,0 Good
Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly.
Cons: The hotel staff did not speak almost any English. The communication was rather difficult.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel has a good location and there are nice facilities around (swimming pool, terraces, etc.)!
Cons: IMPORTANT! People has to be aware that the hotel is extremely far from the airport (45 km) and either if you arrive late to Naha or you depart early in the morning from Naha, only taxi is available and minimum you will pay is 150.000-200.000 Yen, i.e. 150-200 €. Nobody told us about this and when I ask the reception to cancel the last night (to sleep in Naha), they refused to cancel and I had to pay for it, even though I asked for it 2 days in advanced. THIS IS UNFAIR FOR A HOTEL WITH SOME REPUTATION!! To make things more difficult, the people at the reception can not speak english (I need minimum 1h to try to cancel this extra night). INCREDIBLE!!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent except almost the same daily.
Cons: Unit was not well maintained, peeling paint on the railings at the balcony.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The room is spacious and the beds are big enough for two parents and a baby. The breakfast is great with plenty of choices and the staffs are helpful. The view from the pass between wing tower and ocean tower is spectacular.
Cons: The facility in the ocean view room of Ocean Tower is very old. The bathtub is yellowish...with watermarks and the toilet seat is also yellowish with the marks that look like someone used bleach trying to remove stains... The worst thing is that we saw four small cockroaches, one was on the bed and three were on the bathroom floor...so disgusting!!! The most unbelievable thing is that after we called the front desk, the staff rather offered us another room but came with a bottle of insecticide...and used it in front of us...are you kidding me?!!! WE ARE WITH A BABY!!!!! A 10-month old baby!!!!!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The resort is absolutely gorgeous! The staff was super friendly and my sons jaw dropped when he saw the pool areas and the playground.
Cons: The buffets were super expensive so be prepared to spend some money

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Love the beautiful breakfast, the view from my room, the fridge, microwave, and kettle in my room, the free use of washers and detergent, the air conditioned kennel area downstairs, the relaxing hammock on my balcony and the fact that I can bring my dog!!!!!
Cons: Beds could’ve been more comfortable and the place could use some sprucing up (fresh coat of paint, etc) but all in all a fabulous place to stay with your furry 4 legged family members!
7,1 Good
Pros: The room is clean with a nice view.
Cons: The location is near to the beach but very difficult to find food around since there are only 3 3 restaurants in the area and sometimes they are fully booked. I don’t advise the place for solo travelers.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Positioned on a nice quiet street on the top a small hill, this was a peaceful stay. The staff were always helpful.

7,5 Good
Pros: Is good place for take one night, rest.
Cons: NA
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The bartender was very good! Only person I found in Okinawa that could make a martini.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The views were great, there was more than enough space in the rooms. The beds were comfortable. There were a number of restaurants close by, the steak bar next door does a reasonable meal. The 120 bus from Naha passes right in front of the accommodation.
Cons: It is in need of some renovation, a touch of paint, recover the seats and a good spring clean in the kitchen cupboards and drawers. There are no utensils to use in the kitchen other than cups for coffee, not even a spoon to stir your coffee with. The cooker was rusted, as was the extractor fan which rattles in the wind. The only member of staff that interacted was the young guy who booked us in otherwise we saw no one else. Not a place I would recommend.
7,9 Good
Pros: Near to diving place

Pros: Rooms are very good sized. Beds were comfortable. 8th floor had amazing ocean view. Staff was friendly, helped us to use washing machines since neither of us speaks japanese. Breakfast was good. Location is pefect and there is multiple good restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
6,0 Good
Pros: Room was big and spacious. Many restaurants and a Lawson convenience store located outside the hotel. Ample parking space.
Cons: The furniture in the room we had needs updating. Seems like they were from the 80s. Did not dare to sit on the sofa and chairs. There was also kitchen facilities which were old.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location and size of room, view was really good
Cons: Bed was a bit hard
9,2 Excellent
Pros: XXL room size, Sea view, free parking, best value for money for the season we visited
Cons: Need a couple of chairs on the balcony and maybe a renovation soon because started looking a bit "oldschol" and "tired" the building and the decoration
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place to stay.
Cons: Unfortunately the pool had been closed for the winter when we got there, although temperature wise we would have still used it.

Ocean View In Kibougaoka - Onna - Building

7,2 Good (125 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Ocean View in Kibougaoka in Onna, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Kariyushi Beach and Nago Pineapple Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
6,7 Good
Pros: Reasonable price for the big room.
Cons: So difficult to find the place and there was no ocean view as the hotel was surrounded by other buildings
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is set meal and made fresh when you enter. Ours was Japanese style teishoku, and was quite good. The room was huge for the cost and included two beds, plus a large tatami area, and a good balcony overlooking the ocean. More than enough for 3 people. It's called ocean view because all rooms have an ocean view. They all face one direction from what I can tell.
Cons: Not completely spotless but still good considering the low price. Our door was broken but functional and required quite a bit of effort to lock/unlock. There may be enough parking for one vehicle per room, but if you get back last there's a good chance you'll need to find street parking. They may have a solution to this and we did not run into this problem.
7,5 Good
Pros: Great price
Cons: No wi-fi
7,5 Good
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Not easy to find our way
7,1 Good
Pros: I stayed in a Cottage room type. There are three small rooms. The house is big with big terrace. Car park is OK.
Cons: The location is complicate and Google map cannot point to the exactly location. There is no signing board to show the way to the hotel. It is suitable for the one who has a car.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The beds were hard. Basically one futon to sleep on. Asked for more and denied. No frills place to stay, basically.
6,7 Good
Pros: I like the mixing of bed and tatami
Cons: Restroom, it’s so small

Cons: Hardly could communicate with the staff. Though helpful but problems could not be solved. It was a good thing that Ms Serran Her could speak English and she gave some concierge assistance before our trip.
