Besides it’s great location there is nothing else good about this run down, flea bag hotel that appears to be a regular for prostitutes and John’s and nobody else except the unexpecting guests like ourselves. I mean, I knew it wasn’t gonna be a five star stay for the price. But, wow this room is a mess. There’s so much damage to the walls, the furniture, the lamp shades. The bathroom sink and shower stall are both cracked. They take a $100 deposit for damage, and I’ve gotta wonder if they’ve actually used that to repair the room from whoever did all this damage. Pros (+) Price. Desk made effort to get us parking space.
Cons (-) Sketchy neighborhood. Limited parking. Shabby interior. Dump outside window. Freight train tracks 20 feet away; trains pass every hour blowing horns. Room walls torn up. Tiny thorny thistles all over carpet. Shower door wouldn't stay shut.
