Room was beautiful and comfortable. Location is a five minute walk to the Main Street. The Hosts were kind and friendly.
We had a great stay. John & Margo gave us a very warm and friendly welcome. They are extremely thoughtful hosts (there were lots of really nice little touches e.g. fresh fruit and cold drinks always available) and gave us lots of recommendations and information about the local area. Our ensuite room was sparkling clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent (3 delicious courses - fruit, sweet and savoury!!), and we really enjoyed that guests all sit down together to eat and chat. The location is perfect for downtown N-O-T-L.
The host, John, was a wealth of historical knowledge. Margo’s breakfast was superb. Very clean.
The breakfast both days we stayed was phenomenal. Location is great for walking everywhere downtown and the room was very clean and comfortable. Margo and John are amazing hosts who are super knowledgeable about the town and surrounding area.
There were numerous things I liked about the Apple Tree such as the 1) Historic nature of the building; 2) proximity to Queen Street and all of the restaurants and shops; 3) Friendly, interesting and caring owners (John and Margo); 4) Personal recommendations from John and Margo on things to do during our stay; and 5) The breakfast was absolutely amazing!
