Lovely staff, very welcoming, great food for breakfast and dinner (able to cater for gluten free). Cosy bar/lounge with a log burner. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is very quiet, surrounded by countryside, lovely views across the hills. Good base for hiking and for the later section of the Pennine Way (and the Spine Race), nearby forest, the National Park (do need a car to get around). Would happily stay again. Thank you
