Front desk staff were less than courteous. The lady at the front desk was way too busy to even talk during the check in process. They seem to be understaffed.

This is a run-down old Courtyard hotel. It's only attraction is that it is close to Newark Airport. I would say, "it worked," and that's all.

Pros (+) Clean simple.
Cons (-) $30 cab ride despite the supposed short distance it is a very poorly designed route and when cold and tired after a long flight another thirty to forty minute wait for the shuttle is exhausting. The hotel should either increase shuttle service or get flight information from those with confirmed reservations and have shuttle available within fifteen minutes.

Pros (+) Airport shuttle is every 30 min right on time! Staff is friendly! Clean rooms and bathroom. Everything that you expect from Marriott
Cons (-) only thing I would add is a water fountain by the ice machine.
