Great restaurant and the bar is amazing. Short walk to the subway, and to the Village.
Breakfast was available for purchase only. Surprising amount of noise from hallway. A little on the expensive side, given the room and amenities.
Location was perfect. Not too far from NYU. Reception was very helpful. Comfortable bed
No refill coffee (everyday) Didn’t change glasses in the rooms (not everyday, I found 2 days they didn’t do that
The room was clean and still spacious for New York. Everything is up to date, nice shower, good bathroom products and the bed was very comfortable. Also the hotel is well located as you could reach out easily any place of the city. I would definitly stay there again on my next trip to New York!
Breakfast a la carte only, no buffet.
Good location. Very good restaurant. Friendly and responsive reception staff.
Stayed in 2 rooms. Practically no space to hang clothes- smallish “wardrobe” in both. No place for a make-up bag as a designer sink is placed instead of a countertop, no cosmetic mirror in 1 bathroom. Shower curtain made of metallic chains - wet and slippery floors in the second. Missing cards for linens change.
Location, cleanliness, full room light controls by bed and door
Shower water pressure very low, toilet didn’t reliably flush
The upscale Hyatt Union Square New York offers stylish accommodations and solid amenities just one block from Union Square. The features and more make it one of the best bets in the area.
The Hyatt Union Square New York is located on a busy commercial area of Manhattan, at Fourth Avenue and East 13th Street. The diverse Union Square is just one block and 14th Street is also nearby with bars, restaurants, and shops in both directions, and from the subway station at Union Square, travelers have access to anywhere in Manhattan. Plus, being on the L subway line means easy access to the clubs in the Meatpacking District and the fashionable arts, music, restaurant, and bar scene in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Central Park, Times Square, the Empire State Building, and the Statue of Liberty are just short subway rides away.
Like most New York hotels, amenities are limited. The hotel offers a fitness center and meeting rooms, but the highlights are the restaurants. The relaxed atmosphere of Bowery Road provides guests fresh, seasonally-prepared dishes and The Library of Distilled Spirits offer over 1,000 drink choices.
Accommodations come in room and suites but there are a variety of types, styles, and sizes. Between modern studios and luxury New York City hotel suites, rooms at the hotel offer oversized windows and NYC street views. Guests can choose from rooms that overlook Fourth Avenue or 13th Street or something quieter like the courtyard or indulge in a one-bedroom suite with a private terrace. All room also come with convenient in-room amenities.
